Disclaimer: This book has been re-written!
The story follows the tumultuous lives of its characters as they navigate a web of power struggles, family loyalty, and personal growth. The story centers Kayetana Burchart(Kaye) and her family, as she navigates the treacherous waters of high school dynamics, dealing with past trauma, social scandals, and the power plays of the High Society. Her resilience and determination to reclaim her narrative are central to the plot. The complex family dynamics of the Founding Families and the Burchart's and the dark, vengeful nature of her father, Victor Burchart add layers of intrigue and tension to the personal and political aspect of the plot. Themes of power, revenge, family loyalty, and personal growth are explored, creating a rich and immersive must-read.
There are things no one was meant to see, and darkness that should never have been given living form.
"That the world is coming to an end has long since been a dead issue. Everyone has heard of it. Those who have seen it know what the truth is, those who haven't either believe it or not. Either way, no one really cares. We shattered reality itself to shards, but even the apocalypse could not make a difference. Those who are lucky enough to live well don't care about other people's misery or how the world collapses, not even if their own children will have nothing to inherit but ashes and fear, and no matter how much power they have, they only use it for their own benefit, while bringing suffering to others. And the worst is, no matter what nightmarish old or new ideologies they use to justify their deeds, the flock will follow. In the end, the story is always the same."
This is the story of a broken world haunted by the deepest horrors of the human soul, relentless persecution and superstitious hatred, a fanatic war against everything that is not human, and the damned who oppose and never yield to fate. This is not a fairytale.
What to expect:
A deep dark medieval high-fantasy with elves, dwarves, fairies and demons, magic and swords, romance and hatred, and a post-apocalyptic world. This is not a fanfiction of any sort, it's an original story that popped out from my head, and it's very dear to me. I am really happy if you find it worth reading!

Happy New Year Monika!
Apart from contemplating the point of celebrating a social construct in the middle of a party, I have also decided to unwrap Shashi's gift and it is a pretty, pretty diary! A little tipsy, my first new year's resolution in almost 12 years is that I will maintain a journal this year.
Fatima thinks I shouldn't try too hard at journaling—I should do it as and when I feel like it. But this exercise is more of an attempt to re-orient myself. These days I forget who I am, what my ambitions are. I also need a way to track my depressive episodes and potential triggers.
I am kind of glad I came to this party. I was initially scared of feeling lonely and anxious, but I am enjoying it. For now.
I don't think I'll be up till midnight though. The process of going to bed early gets sweeter as I age. Anyway, Happy New Year Monu!
A land, split equally in half, is ruled by two children.
The child of the light harnesses the sun and all the creatures belonging to it.
The child of the dark dwells in the moonlight and gives life to night.
When the Moon and Sun's sides bleed into each other, hybrids are formed belonging of dark and light.
How can both children see past thier differences and learn to co-exist?

So i had a dream. Two young men, one escaping terrible exploitation and one escaping terrible luxury, meet. They set of on their individual journeys to change their lives. On the way they meet angels and monsters and mermaids and demon horses and perfectly normal people with universes locked inside their tears. And they meet themselves. It was all a dream I had one night, literally a dream with the unbelievable qualities dreams have. It was a bit weird. It was a bit disjointed. It was a bit fantastical. It was definitely emotional. It was a bit ridiculous at times, but it was inspiring at times. And I woke up in a daze, a literal daze. I decided to share the content of this dream with whoever comes across this story and decides to read it. Honoured guests, I humbly welcome you, to the story I spent days caudifying when I was supposed to be doing my homework.
