Forced into a broken world with nowhere left to turn, the Joycon Siblings, Glitchand Aster, would devote their entire lives escaping the withering paradise their mother, Kāne, left behind. For a world without Her benevolence, is a legacy stripped of its creativity.

What is acceptance, if rules are meant to be broken? We abandon the unfamiliar, so that we may feel loved. The latter half is no different for our Red Joycon, Glitch,on their never-ending search for feeling at home.

For home is a state of mind that could only ever exist in the end credits... 'The Ever Afterlife' we all crave. Bridges are doomed to collapse, while others are meant to be restored through time and its rose-tinted promises of healing.

At the end of this journey, they will reunite with this single question: How does one begin to live with death?

An interactive guidebook for cheating a life you never chose, and a story for rewriting the impending doom of two... Not to mention, an entire world tainted by their own tears.

I present to you, the Gamer's Guide to Ever After.

The year is 2898. After a horrific radioactive apocalypse, humanity is forced to move underground, forming Neo-countries and renaming the planet Neo-Earth, each Neo-country forming numbered underground bases.

The year is 3023. In Neo-American base #5555, things couldn't be worse. The laws are unbearably strict, and breaking them results in Exile, which means getting sent aboveground and left to die. Dionysius Hawthorne and his friends are determined to run away from this tyrannical nightmare. Will they make it out, or will one of Dionysius's closest friends face his doom and have no way out?

So i had a dream. Two young men, one escaping terrible exploitation and one escaping terrible luxury, meet. They set of on their individual journeys to change their lives. On the way they meet angels and monsters and mermaids and demon horses and perfectly normal people with universes locked inside their tears. And they meet themselves. It was all a dream I had one night, literally a dream with the unbelievable qualities dreams have. It  was a bit weird. It was a bit disjointed. It was a bit fantastical. It was definitely emotional. It was a bit ridiculous at times, but it was inspiring at times. And I woke up in a daze, a literal daze. I decided to share the content of this dream with whoever comes across this story and decides to read it. Honoured guests, I humbly welcome you, to the story I spent days caudifying when I was supposed to be doing my homework.

The Young Lightning Rehabilitation takes the most problem of youths and turns them into good citizens. It makes the most troubled of rebels into compliant and obedient pieces of society. It restructures the most stubborn of minds into docile and contented brains. No-one gets dragged into the centre and comes out unchanged. Everyone who enters its walls comes out broken down, destructured, destroyed, and rebuilt anew.
