A troubled veteran attempts to forget the past by volunteering at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, but it proves difficult when he's close to the plane that changed his life forever—the Corsair.
***
Retired Navy pilot William Beckington never planned to move on after The Incident and has lived with the guilt for seventy years. After failed attempts with PTSD counselors, his daughter recommends that he begin volunteering on the aircraft carrier CV-10 in Charleston, South Carolina. Reluctantly, Bill agrees, but his decision proves difficult when he stumbles back into the world of Corsairs, the plane he'd rather forget.
Seeing that The Incident still haunts him, Bill's new friends attempt to help him remember his long-lost joy; he attends Bull Dog Tours, learns the stories of other veterans, and strangely finds himself near the Corsair more than he would like.
While nothing will free his mind from the traumatizing memory of accidentally shooting his friend down, Bill must find a way to push past his grief and guilt to live the life he is meant to live—and rekindle Ted's legacy before he succumbs.

A story about beings of light, called Lightborn, this book explores their emergence on a planet called Erta. From the first steps they take into the world, to crucial discoveries and conflicts, the Lightborn become lords of the world gifted to them by their Creator.
A story of discovery, adventure, action and drama, it's all a most epic adventure set in a completely fictional universe.
how I came up with the story: The inspiration for "Bound by Shadows" came from the idea of juxtaposing two very different worlds—the dark, dangerous life of a mafia heir and the disciplined, honorable journey of a taekwondo champion. The concept emerged from imagining what would happen if these two characters, each with their own dreams and burdens, crossed paths unexpectedly, leading to a tale of intrigue, romance, and personal growth. Also got the idea from KinnPorsche cause I can't stop reading it so I made my own.brief intro to the story: "Bound by Shadows" follows the lives of Kim Tae-jin and Lee Min-ho. Tae-jin, the middle child of a powerful mafia family, has his childhood dreams of becoming a singer overshadowed by the weight of family expectations and his impending role as the next successor. After a failed negotiation meeting, he finds himself under attack and is unexpectedly saved by Min-ho, a university student and taekwondo champion whose dream is to own a bar on a private beach. Their worlds collide in a back alley, sparking a connection that neither of them could have anticipated. Despite their growing bond, Min-ho is determined to stay focused on his own ambitions, even as Tae-jin becomes increasingly obsessed with him. As they navigate their intersecting lives, they uncover secrets and face challenges that test their resolve and their hearts.characters: Tae-jin is a complex character, torn between his mafia obligations and his suppressed dreams. Min-ho, with his blend of cuteness and strength, is focused on achieving his goals while caring for his younger brother.

*Moral: The past is the past; this is the future.**A novelette inspired by a story I heard at work about Oscar the Goldfish.**Weekly updates**This story is not meant to bash Romance writers (I like Romance but don't write it).
