She was anything but normal. Her skin was translucent, her voice was weak, one look you’d be asking yourself how she could even walk. She never got fed, and her hair was always unkempt. She was a perfect victim. Easy pray so to speak. And as she walked along the sidewalk, I swear she had the most beautiful smell to her. Like roses...mixed with honey. I wondered to myself who hurt her. Who made her be this way? I wanted to hurt them for hurting this girl. She stumbled on what appeared to be her own feet as she walked. She suddenly became on edge looking all around her, her hands became shaky as they opened a knee-high gate to a yellow house. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. I knew from that moment, I was never going to hurt her.

I opened the gate slowly, hoping James wasn’t home. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the lights were all off and a note was placed on the door. I walked up to the door and picked up the note. It was from James saying he wouldn't be home until morning, and that he was expecting breakfast to be made when he did arrive. He was very...needy sometimes. I unlocked the door and went inside, turning on the light to the front hallway and kicking off my shoes before locking the door behind me. I then went to the living room and flipped on a random show before passing out on the couch.
I woke up around 1:00 am and set an alarm for an hour before James arrived home, that way I could make him his breakfast. I then tossed it over and fell asleep yet again.

I watched them through the living room window, perched in a tree, just high enough that she wouldn't be able to see me. she looked so peaceful as she slept, her lips moved ever so slightly, as if she were fully awake, and talking to someone. But no one was there, and she was sound asleep. I was going to make her mine, this is what I knew.163Please respect copyright.PENANAvO4Mv4jep1
