Blood was all over the white painted room. The door turned into hell's gate.
“ Devin what the hell is wrong with you ?” Jakob shouted.
Devin smiled wickedly.
“ Nothing is wrong with me , sweetheart. I'm perfectly fine.”
She grabbed a knife and slit the man's throat.
“ The job is done.”
Devin licked the knife , full of dirty blood and giggled.
Jakob kept staring at her. He was hypnotized and scared , so scared of the woman in front of him.
“ What the hell happened to you in that room?” Jakob said bewildered.
Devin shook her head slightly and laughed.
“ Just saw the light.”
It all started at 2 a.m in the morning. Devin and Jakob were heading to another job and as usual , Devin went inside to do the job. But an hour passed and she wasn't back , Jakob got anxious and went to check. What he found was horror.
The man was laying on the ground , lifeless, swimming in a pool of blood. His eyes were lost , lost into oblivion. One thing was wrong here.
Devin was nowhere to be found.
“ Devin.” Jakob shouted.
After half an hour shouting , finally he heard a noise coming from a room far ahead of the manager's room. When he opened the door , he found Devin covered in blood, smiling wickedly and trembling, when he ran to her she shifted her weight and he almost went smashing into the wall. She laughed and exited the room like nothing happened.
The next day , he didn't hear a single word from her. When he went to visit , no one answered the door and he almost kicked the door open. When the time came to work , Jakob got the message that he should go with Devin at the destined station , but he was informed that Devin was already there. He drove like a maniac and came running into the room , finding hell itself. He never saw so much blood. Devin used to be so clean with her assassinations , this was on a whole new level.
“ Let's go home , I already finished every work for today.” Devin whipped the blood from her hand onto her shorts.
“ You did what?”
Devin looked at him. She walked slowly to him , it took everything in him not to take a step back. Her eyes were on fire , in a blaze to be exact. When she smiled her teeth showed slightly but now they are fully bare.
“ Sweetheart, we can go home and have fun.”
Devin grabbed him from the behind and pulled him to her.
She licked his lips and giggled.
Jakob's head was fighting with his body. His head was telling him to run , his body desired her , like never before.
“ First tell me what happened to you.”
Devin's smile vanished.
“ I already told you nothing happened to me. This is such a bore.”
She grabbed her gun and pointed it to him.
Jakob's face went pale.
Devin giggled and twirled the gun in her hands.
“ Darling , do you actually think I would kill you?”
She laughed out loud and exited the room. Jakob stayed still for a while , trying to recover from that woman's traumatic soul. He looked around him , so much blood , like he never saw before. Something is terribly wrong here.
He heard her calling him ,he exited the room , following the woman he fears but also loves like no other.
Jakob tried to explain what happened to the association but they thought she is doing her job wonderfully and that they are assassins not police men. Jake was also thinking something is wrong, she was crazy from the beginning but this is on a whole new level.
When one day they tried to talk to her , she just giggled and twirled around twirling her knife and pointing it at them.
Few days passed and no other news from her was heard. She wasn't doing her job , her best friend didn't see her and a lot of people were getting killed. The thing is that they are all molesters , so deep down someone is doing their job for them. But they all started right when Devin vanished.
One time they tried to capture the person doing this , they confirmed it was a woman but she was too much for them to handle. The association was falling to bits , people were leaving in fear for this woman. They called her Lady X , the lady who is not known. Jakob and Jake knew it was Devin , she was top notch , no one in the association could take her head on. But they couldn't sell her to them. They had to deal with it on their own.
On a quiet Friday night , they managed to get an appointment with her. She wanted to meet in a quiet place where no one would see them.
“ Devin.” Jake shouted.
They heard a giggle.
“ The twins , what an honor.”
They could hear her voice but she was nowhere to be seen.
“ Devin , please come out.”
“ Come out to play , come out to play.” She sang.
“ Devin!” Jakob shouted.
“ Fine , fine.”
Jakob and Jake saw a figure merging with the shadows. Suddenly a tall figure walked towards them. Jakob's jaw almost fell.
Devin was strutting their way. She was wearing a tight shorts , almost like a second skin, a cropped top and high heeled boots. Nothing unusual but her hair was painted into a deep shade of red , almost firing in the night light. She wore red lipstick and when she smiled that wicked smile , her white teeth almost looked blinding.
She grabbed their chins.
“ Handsome as ever.”
She sighed and sat on a nearby wall.
“ So why did you want to meet?”
The boys kept staring at her, then Jake cleared his throat.
“ We wanted to know if you are the one killing the men around town?”
She kept staring at them and burst out laughing.
“ Oh boys, it's not only me. Plus we are doing the right thing.”
Jakob blinked out of his daze.
“ We?”
Devin grinned.
“ She means us.” A voice came from the shadows.
Suddenly 3 shadow emerged from the shadows.
2 were males and the other a woman.
The men were filled with tattoos, black ripped shirt and black ripped jeans.
The woman on the other hand was dressed almost like Devin , but she has half her hair blue and half pink. She was holding a bat behind her neck.
“ So who are these handsome fellows?” She grinned.
She was crazily beautiful.
The woman put a hand around Devin and pointed the bat at the boys.
“ You got yourself some tasty dishes.” She giggled.
Devin smiled.
“ Sure did.”
Jakob and Jake took a step back and Devin burst out laughing.
“ Don't worry , we only kill bad guys.”
“ You do.” One of the guys said as he pointed the gun to the boys.
She moved in front of him and grabbed his gun.
“ I'll take care of it. You guys go and have fun.”
The man grabbed her jaw and planted a kiss on her lips.
She giggled and turned around.
The other woman popped her gum and moved away without a word.
“ Who was that?” Jakob said angrily.
Devin smiled and walked to him.
“ It seems that you are not the one for me , neither is him though.” She sighed and twirled around.
“ Bye bye.” She said turning around.
Jakob grabbed her wrist and turned her around.
“ Devin.” He looked into her eyes , those eyes that looked like crystals in the night , now look like a sea of fire.
She grabbed his chin and pushed him away forcefully.
“ Call me Lady X , I like it.” She winked at them and vanished into the shadows.
They kept calling her name but she didn't re appear.
Something dark and deep happened into that room. Something they can't imagine.
