Chapter Four
Alice, Brenda, and Bill, were in the loungeroom.
Bill played a song on his guitar.
Brenda found a Monopoly game.
'I hate Monopoly', Alice said.
'Not the way I play it. Strip Monopoly. Bill is the banker. You swap clothes with boots', Brenda said. After one hour of play, the southerly wind blew. 'I'll close the door. The wind is bad', Bill sighed.
'I got to go to sleep. Good night, Bill...Alice...', Brenda said. She grabbed her yellow colored rain slicker; she opened the door. Then she ran to cabin 2.
'Where's Jack and Marcie?', Alice asked Bill.282Please respect copyright.PENANAes3JV7u6qP
'Making out, as usual', Bill smiled.
'And Ned?', Alice asked him.
'I don't know. He disappeared', Bill said lamely.
Ned was dead.
Alice was now getting worried.
Steve wasn't back.
'Bill. Something's wrong', Alice said.
'I got two lamps. Let's explore the camp', Bill said.
'I'm coming with you', Alice said.

Brenda was taking off her rain slicker.
The heater was on.
She made sure she would turn it off when she was asleep. The storm raged on. On the bed was a faded romance novel. She didn't care about the novel; she then heard the sound of a boy's pleading voice: 'Help me! Help me!'. She was drawn to the ethereal voice. 282Please respect copyright.PENANAeYgKy7fQbl
She opened the door.
And made the mistake of going towards the archery range.
The lights were turned on.282Please respect copyright.PENANAaYjIVP2CB9
Then she screamed, and the knife cut out her life.
The death curse was real.

On the bed was an axe.
It was wet.
'What's going on?', Alice asked Bill.
'Ned is pranking again', Bill answered.
'But, he is gone...everyone is gone', Alice said.
'I don't like that', Bill said. 282Please respect copyright.PENANA6z8x6LJUFH
He saw the tank was full of sugar in the vans.
'Sabotage', he said.
He opened the door, and was killed by the killer's knife, leaving Alice alone to fight the killer alone.

Steve Christy was at the Crystal Lake Diner.
He was sure that the campers were glad that he did the shopping. He often made the mistake of taking too much time in town. He wasn't a believer in ghosts, spirits, and death curses; he believed in life. He saw Sandy Klein, the sixty year old, glasses wearing waitress. She was doing the job for the last thirty-five years. She glanced at Steve in a kind voice.
'More coffee, Steve?', the red haired waitress, asked him.
'No. I got to leave. It's 6:45 PM. I should be back earlier but I was held up', Steve answered.
The truth was he didn't want to go back.
Unless more trouble was in the air.
'How much do I owe you?', Steve asked her.
'Two and a quarter', Sandy answered.282Please respect copyright.PENANAg4LZxKHqip
It was for a coffee, and a slice of cherry pie.
Steve smiled.
'Good night, Sandy'.
'Good night, Steve. Be safe'.
Steve gave her three dollar bills as a tip.
'Keep the change', Steve said.
Sandy got the money, and placed it into the till.
Then she waved at Steve.
'It's going to rain heavily tonight', Sandy said.
'I'll be fine, Sandy. Good night!'.
'Good night!'.
And he opened the door, and looked at the Jeep.
To his horror it didn't work.
Steve waved his hands in the air.
To his relief he saw Sheriff Earl Tierney.
And he got into the Police car.

Alice had earlier cleaned the room.
Suddenly she saw the parlor door was open.
Crazy Ralph appeared.
'Who are you?', she asked him.
'I'm the Messenger of God. You're doomed if you stay here! Doomed! Go! Go!', Crazy Ralph answered.
He left them, and headed to his bicycle.
'I think we just met Ralph', Ned said.
'God, that's all I need', Alice said.
Alice dreamed on the sofa.
The memories of her friends were preying on her mind.
Now they were missing, or dead.
***
Sheriff Earl Tierney spoked: 'Tonight's Friday the 13th. Bad times for murders, attacks, and bad luck. It brings out the worse in people. Crazy Ralph was at Crystal Lake spouting the Lord's Gospel'.
'That's all I need to hear. Old Ralph spouting the idea that we're doomed', Steve said.
'I'll take you to the camp's entrance, Steve. You can walk from there'.
'I'll get the Jeep to the mechanic's in the morning', Steve said.
The radio was on.
'Sheriff Tierney. There's a three car pile up on Miner Road'.
'I'll be there soon. ETA, fifteen minutes. Over'.
He dropped Steve off, then he grabbed his bags.
And walked towards the camp's sign.
Suddenly a flashlight was in his eyes.
Once he adjusted to the glare, an old memory caused him to shiver.282Please respect copyright.PENANARQC3LX60dZ
'Oh, Hi, Pamela...What are you doing out here at night?'', he asked her.
The killer stabbed him in the chest, twice.
Then she dragged his body into the middle of the dark woods.
The horror of Friday the 13th was almost over.
