Chapter Three
The campers were around the campfire.
In Crystal Lake, it was colder than in other parts of America.
'I don't want to scare you, but I'm going to give it to you about Jason Voorhees. His body wasn't found in the lake. As you know, we're the first to arrive here. One year since that girl, Alice Hardy, killed Mrs. Pamela Sue Voorhees, on the beach on Friday the 13th. Jason's out there...Watching...waiting...eager for fresh blood...'. And then Ted appeared in his Native American costume. He was holding a spear in his right hand; he heard everyone scream, and the horror was just about to begin.
Again.

'How did I do?', Paul asked Ginny.248Please respect copyright.PENANAJGjCiObOUu
'You need to work on the second act', Ginny said.
***
Earlier on, Ginny was asleep.
When she had a romantic time with Paul, she saw the message on the window: Beware of Bears.
She had heard him warn the campers about the dangerous animals in the forest; she was sure they'd listen to him. Seconds later, she thought someone was spying on her; she looked out of the window. She opened the cabin office door. 'Paul! Is that you?', she asked.
No one answered.
She shivered with fear.
***
Scott fired a stone from his slingshot.
It hit Terry's butt.
'You idiot!', she said.
As she headed to the water, she had a quick dip in the lake. Scott smirked. But, as he went further into the woods, his feet was caught in a trap. 'Help me! I hate this wilderness bullshit!', he yelled.
Terry smiled.
'Teach you not to mess with me', she said.
'Just get a knife, and cut me down', Scott said.
'Fine. Hang on!'.

Scott was left to hang around.
Suddenly Jason Voorhees swung the machete high in the air.
And brought it downward.

'Scott. I got that knife'.
When Terry saw his dead body, she screamed.
Then she was stabbed with a knife.
And she died.
***
Jeff was making out with Sandra in one of the cabins upstairs. Mark was playing chess with Vickie. 'Are you good?', she asked him. 'Yes', Mark answered. Soon, they were bored, and Paul played a game with Ginny. 'Checkmate', Ginny said. Paul looked at the board, and was bemused at his loss.248Please respect copyright.PENANAJu9jLEdKdO
Outside, Crazy Ralph was near the oak tree.
He heard a sound.
Footsteps.
Before he could do anything, he was strangled by Jason Voorhees.
His body slumped to the ground.
And he was dead as well.
***
'Okay, if anyone wants to go to the Blues Bar, please let me know. Jeff and Sandra have volunteered to stay', Paul said. They sighed, as they knew their mistake meant going to be in the camp all night; Ted put his right hand up. He went with them. As they left in Paul's van, the campers were seeing the weather was stormy.
***
Jason Voorhees stalked the camp.
He was going to get his revenge.
***
Vickie was dressed for her date with Mark.
She had waited for the perfect time to talk with him.
***
Mark opened the door.
'Vickie! Is that you?', he asked her.
Silence.
Then, as the wheelchair stood on the stone steps, lightning flashed in the blackened sky.
The machete was raised in the sky, and Mark's chair fell downward.
He was dead instantly.
***
Jeff was making out with Sandra again.
When they kissed, he played his favorite harmonica.
Jason Voorhees grabbed the spear in his right hand, and went upstairs. The door was open.
Then they opened their eyes, as the spear came towards them near the bed.
***
Vickie opened the door.
'Jeff! Sandra!'.
She wore a multi-colored sweater because she was blue sweater. She saw Jason Voorhees in the bed. He moved like a snake towards her with a knife. 'No! God, no!', she yelled.
It was too late.
She was stabbed to death, as most of the campers were dead.
***
The blues band was playing a set of songs on the stage.
Ginny, Paul, and Ted, were eating hamburgers with the lot. Paul and Ginny were drinking beer; Ted was under-age. He was three years away from drinking alcohol; he wasn't too shaken by the news that enjoying music and dinner was a reward for camping duties.
'What if there's a Jason Voorhees? Some kind of boy-beast roaming the wet woods; he would be fully grown by now...', Ginny said.248Please respect copyright.PENANAqTODTJEyRC

'Hey, are there any after-hours' places overnight?', Ted asked Mandy Kaplan. the twenty-three year old Manageress.
'Yes, and I got a key', Mandy said.
'See you two later', Ted said.
'Good night, Ted', Paul said.
'Good night, Ted', Ginny said.
And they all paid for their dinner.
Then Paul as well as Ginny headed outside, leaving Ted to be with the young woman.
***
The van arrived at the camp.
It was quiet.
'Paul, something's wrong', Ginny said.
He opened the cabin door.
'They smoke better dope than I do', he smiled.
The loungeroom was dark.
Too dark.

'Paul! There's someone in the bloody room!', Ginny yelled.
Jason Voorhees attacked Paul.
When he was knocked unconscious, he went after Ginny.
***
Ginny ran to the cabins.
She opened the window door.
Her jacket was stuck.
It ripped, as she fell onto the wet grass.
Jason went after her.
Ginny was attacked near the van.

She breathed, as she ran to the woods.
She was sure she was right.
In the middle of the woods was the same old shack.
Ginny went inside, as Jason Voorhees went after her.

In the room was a shrine to Mrs. Pamela Sue Voorhees.
Ginny waited.
'Jason! It's over...'.
Jason saw her...and in the middle of the air was his mother.
'Jason. Mother is talking to you. That's a good boy; that's a good Jason...'.
He knew Ginny wasn't his real mother.
Angrily, he attacked her.
