Many people say when something extraordinary happens, "there's magic in the air." Still, none have no idea how too right they are. There's always magic in the air, and it grows stronger when someone possesses a unique item or was born with it. It hums as if yearning to sing and ripples through the air like a drop in water. At that moment, it makes my hands itch and fingers twitch with excitement that it is irresistible to turn away. Especially when one's pocket or bag hang bare and open as if inviting. Well, you get the picture of what I mean. A dangerous business that I will tango one or two steps ahead if possible, especially from getting caught. After all, I have a reputation to hold up to; many know me as the Majick Thief. No one caught me since I managed to appear at least expected places and give them the slip with tricks. The baffled expression on their faces is never tiresome to watch, especially the charming faces of commissioner miss Rhodes and chief inspector Faradale. They are my closest so-called fans; Rhodes once nearly had me in shackles but got away since the shackles were never hers and didn't check for the key. They were a parlour trick of mine to distract with a bit of help from my trustee friend Luna.
Luna is a rat, and she knows best where and when to slip away but don't let the rumours fool you. She's very clean but shy and calm; hell, she keeps her white paws white at all times. On the other hand, I wouldn't pull off with white gloves since my hands can be restless at times, and I am not afraid to get them dirty. My usual attire is unique, yet I can mingle with the crowd if needed. Wearing disguises to avoid suspicion from the beginning and lead keen eyes in the wrong direction of my description. Not even Rhodes knows my real face, she's only seen but various masks of make-up and false attires.
When on business and in good company I wear my favourite top violet hat with a teal blue silk sash. You may think the hat is magical but actually, it's the silk sash that assists in my disguises. Won it over on a game of cards many moons ago, if I won it fair or by cheating it is hard to say. I was drunk, well, so was my competitor at that time. Aside from the top hat, I wear a long marine blue cord frock coat, violet leathered gloves, a teal blue silk waistcoat with grey trousers and dark brown leathered hunter boots. Unique yet simple and elegant, perhaps with a dash of madness but then again aren't we all?291Please respect copyright.PENANA4DKoiaiJH7
