She was in a dark place that encircled her. The tranquil surroundings perplexed her. There was nothing inside. She couldn't see the end of the place, so she kept walking while looking for a way out.
The space displayed the story between her and her boyfriend in these two years. They went through thick and thin but have now ruptured. Time passed, and her eyes were not on the screen anymore, but she felt powerless with the feeling of drowning. It was a feeling of falling into an abyss filled with dread. She realised she had to pass up the opportunity with him.
"God, if I can choose, I want to lose the memory of him."
She merely thought that the idea came from the reaction on the screen. What she didn’t know was that her body and subconsciousness remembered everything she went through.
She wasn't sure if the god she mentioned was real or not, and it wasn't clear which god she requested. It is the embodiment of her desire and her ability to believe at this time.
Her prayer and the image in her head indicated the end of her relationship with him. She was taken aback to hear an answer from the depths of her soul.
This was something she only remembered prior to entering real life.
6th June, 2095
A typical day with a typical person. His face and his hollow life revealed the emptiness in his heart. He walked leisurely, and time stopped flowing. He did not know the place of the destination but just seemed to have awakened from a dream. This meaningless walking brought him to a woman.
"Be careful, young boy." She was 82 years old at the time.
"I am very sorry about that." His apology piqued the interest of the woman. He could see her eyes well up with pity, which was like discovering a treasure. She saw his concerns and smiled, but she didn’t offer any explanation.
