Soft moonlight bathed the room.

"I don't know."

Glazed eyes stared unfeelingly at the ceiling.

"Does the world stop spinning for nothing?"

"If only that wasn't true, but alas, the world stops for no one darling."

The carpet stained red.

"Mama why don't you get up?"

Tears cascaded.

"Because nothing is left for me."

Blood flowed freely.

And as he stood above her grave, he realized that she had everything.

And everything was still here,

But she was gone.

And the world goes round.
