Ahh, today's prompt isn't a short story, but rather a poem. But this poem is in a certain format...let's hear it from the prompt: "Write a 26-line poem using all the letters of the alphabet. Have the first line start with the letter "A," the second "B," the third "C," etc." I think I'll add a rhyme scheme to mine too, just to make it wound nicer. Rhyme scheme is AABBCC and so on.
Hope you guys are hungry.
A pizza for me, that's all that I can need!
Be it Hawiian, Pepperoni, or anything that's been knead.
Call it something special like deluxe,
Deliveries will come from the trucks.
Even the dough plays a big part,
For it's something in which pizza can't be apart.
Going for the classic cheese is a safe bet,
How could it possibly leave you in debt?
In trying new things you better your tongue,
Just to be able to tolerate things that taste like dung.
Kale on pizza? Blech! The very thought makes my stomach lurch.
Like a sinner caught killing in church.
Making one yourself may be the best way to go,
Nothing's quite like homemade dough!
On top, a juicy tomato sauce,
Putting this on doesn't make it look like moss.
Quiches or quesadillas? Don't make me laugh.
Radios say that it isn't usually picked by the staff.
Such a marvelous pizza is worthy of a celebration!
To pizza! Now let us have some fun!
Understanding these concepts is what makes it delicious,
Varying opinions may come across as vicious.
With ingredients that include foreign fish,
Xenophobe's may not look forward to this dish.
Yet millions across the globe find pizza tasteful,
Zest is what truly makes their meal irreplaceable.
Well, that was fun. See you guys tomorrow.
