Today, we mourn the loss of a timeless, powerful, and abundantly beautiful gem. Steven Universe was a gift to this world, brightening up everywhere he went with a cheery smile. Though his actions in battle were brave, and his heart pure, it is today that we must say goodbye to our friend.
It was a fatal battle - the Crystal Gems were fighting for Earth, and homeworld was fighting for themselves. The battle raged on for days, even weeks, until a moment of courage defined our hero. In sacrificing himself for the benefit of everyone, Steven spread his love for everything into the space around him, evaporating all hatred for just a moment.

Steven made countless friends in his adventures - even if they didn't want to be his friend. He had such a sweet heart that it was hard to say no. Many say that he took after his mother, Rose Quartz, another gleaming beacon of hope in the world that has long since perished to give Steven life.
It is thanks to so many things that we now must thank Steven, and send him peacefully into the afterlife. Steven Universe. Thank you, from the Crystal Gems, from homeworld, from your dad, Connie, and all whom you've made right. You will be forever remembered as a hero of your own making. Congratulations, Steven.
Well that makes another sad thing two days in a row. It's really short, but I've never really written an obituary before. So, you try something new every day, I guess. See you guys tomorrow.
