It has been a month since the events in the Great Crater of Paldea, and Arven is still struggling to accept what AI Sada told him and his friends. A chance encounter with the Legendary Pokémon Miraidon encourages him to use its powers to re-open the time machine and send him back to the time of Paradox Pokémon, where he finds the mysterious android.  All Sada wants is for Arven to have a mother's love. After a trip through time to the future, she is given the gift of bringing her son to her; however, this gift proves to be nothing more than something that wants to steal her humanity.   At the end of the day, Sada's fate does not rest with the human emotions but rather with Arven's struggle against his Infrared. After the events of Pokemon XY&Z, Serena decides to go to Kanto with Ash to compete in Pokemon contests. While they're in Pallet Town, however, they meet a 28-year-old trainer named Timothy who forms a rivalry with Ash and challenges him to compete in the Indigo League again. Thus, with Serena's permission, Ash joins Serena on her journey through the Kanto region. Along the way they come across Ash's former traveling companions as Serena competes in Pokemon contests and Ash rechallenged the gym where he didn't earn his badge properly.

But unknown to Ash and his friends, Timothy, his Raichu, Electchu, and his best friend, Coovers from the International Police, are on a mission to go through the Battle Frontier in order to find Brandon who may have found the Gieldanstone: a white jewel that makes Arceus itself obey the will of anyone who holds it. The two men and the Raichu are attempting to retrieve the Gieldanstone before Team Rocket gets it and uses it for their ultimate plan to finally control all Pokemon and rule the world.

Ever wondered how the Smash Bros characters met each other? Me too. This Fanfic will be a non-canon story (obviously) and will include series that aren’t in Ultimate, such as Cuphead. Additionally, series that have WAY too many characters will be nerfed to have less characters, such as Final Fantasy. Sorry FF fans!) The series that I think have WAY less characters than they deserve, like Sonic the Hedgehog, (seriously, Nintendo? ONLY Sonic? At least add onemore..) will be buffed to include more characters. I don't know EVERYTHING about every franchise, so only ones that I know a decent amount of characters and lore from will be covered in detail. I apologize if one of your favorite series or characters is not included.

Joyna, a bubblegum-haired, 17-year-old medical nurse in training who had a bright future ahead of her and an amazing mother, father, and younger brother to support her all the way. Life was perfect…

‘What was that!?’, I thought as I shot up in bed.

I listened to the sound again. ‘There it is again!’

I grabbed my stethoscope, the one my dad gifted me on my sixteenth birthday, off the table near my bedside, to use as a possible object of defense, lifted my blanket off myself, and slowly tiptoed out of my room.

As I finally and carefully stepped out of my room, I noticed that Ash’s bedroom door was left open.

‘Strange… Maybe that was Ash going for a midnight snack? He usually does that’, I tried to reason with myself. ‘Only one way to find out’

“Ash?”, I called out anxiously, as I carefully walked down the stairs.

I tensed up as I heard a creek.

It sounded like…

‘The fridge door?’

I let out a relieved sigh that I didn’t even know I was holding. ‘Yep! That’s definitely Ash’

“Ash! I know you’re there! And you better not be midnight snacking again!”, I chuckled to myself. “You know what mom said”

‘Now that I think about it, Ash has been going more on his midnight snacking escapades since…’, I thought, but then paused, feeling an ache of pain in my heart. ‘No need to think about that right now, I have one objective, and that’s to get Ash back to bed’

“Ash?”, I called out again.

Nothing.

“A-Ash?”, I was getting nervous.

Nothing.

“Ash!”, I screamed, not caring that mom could wake up.

‘I can’t lose you too!’

I speed walked towards the kitchen, but Ash wasn’t there.

Anxiety was building up in my stomach, and it was getting hard to breathe.

I ran to the living room and noticed a gust of wind brush past my feet.

‘It must be nothing, right?’

I finally slowed down as I entered the living room, he wasn’t there.

I ran to the front door area.

‘Please don’t be what I’m thinking, please don’t be what I’m thinking, please don’t be what I’m think-’

My heart froze.

The front door was left wide open, and Ash was nowhere to be seen…
