This story was based on actual events and i wanted to do a piece telling my version of what happened.

I came up with the idea for this story after being inspired by a writing prompt on Sweek.com.

I had never previously written anything related to horror, but I came up with this idea for the story featuring a brother and sister trying to find each other with a little girl (ghost/spirit) after them,

It's really short, but I always enjoy short and to the point stories.

Sheldon Alfloyd was forced to move in with his aunt in the countryside, where everything was different from the city. It was dull, mundane, and there were cows, but it was perfect. The trees, the fields, the grass, the rain... and the ginger haired girl with the glowing butterflies, who never speaks.

Drowning in rain was better than the dark shadows. One step into it, and he would fall to his death.
