Legend has it that on the island of Telemik lives a great dragon who can plunge all of Berk and the world into eternal darkness. When the Berserkers strike, they capture the Light Dragon and turn him into one of them, hoping he will eliminate Hiccup once and for all.

Hiccup and Astrid, the Two Heroes, must find the missing crystals of the Light Dragon's body before it's too late. He lost them long ago after a heated confrontation with the Berkians. However, Hiccup and Astrid are dealing with a dragon like none other—a dragon who has the power of psychological torture. The Erlkönig himself.

If they fail, Hiccup will lose everything and everybody he loves, and a dark cloud will send the whole world into a future they never expected—a world without light.

Under all this, though, lies a single question. Is the Light Dragon as evil as the Berkians say he is? Or is he just another dragon looking for a friend?

~Prolog~

In the dark and silent forest, on the edge of a small village hidden from the world's view, there is a group of women gathered under the dim moonlight. They stand among the towering trees, speaking in low and secretive voices.

They are witches, women considered to possess magical powers and a connection to the supernatural world. In the eyes of the authoritarian church authorities, they are enemies to be destroyed, living in fear of capture and cruel execution.

That night, terrifying shadows lurk among the trees, searching for signs of the women who are deemed a threat to church authority. In the enveloping silence, heavy footsteps draw near, echoing dreadful fear in their hearts.

Suddenly, the ground around them trembles, and swiftly, a force of guards led by church emissaries descends upon their hiding place. In an instant, the women are surrounded by armed soldiers, their eyes gleaming with undeniable malevolence.

"Surrender, witches!" the leader of the guards bellows, his voice resounding throughout the forest. "By this, you are accused of practicing black magic and conspiring with evil forces. You will face the punishment decreed by the church!"

The women feel their breath catch as they gaze towards their enemies, their weakened powers helpless against the unbeatable force. Yet, despite knowing their fate may be sealed, they remain steadfast in their beliefs, refusing to surrender easily.

In a swift and brutal assault, the women are dragged from their hiding place and brought to the rigged court of the church, where false accusations and cruel punishments await them. Before the unyielding church authorities, they are forced to face baseless charges, devoid of justice or mercy.

In the brief trial that ensues, the women are condemned on unfounded accusations, with no convincing evidence or chance to defend themselves. They are tortured and brutally interrogated, coerced into confessing to crimes they did not commit, until ultimately they are sentenced to death as a warning to anyone who dares to challenge the church's power.

And on that dark night, amidst the silent forest, the flames of the stake burn bright, raging with terrifying ferocity. The women are bound to stakes made of hard, dry wood, their bodies engulfed in the consuming fire.

Yet, though their bodies may be consumed by the blazing flames, their souls remain steadfast in their beliefs, refusing to surrender to the darkness that threatens them. With unwavering courage, they face death with heads held high and hearts unyielding, declaring to the world that even though they may fall, they will never succumb to the evil that surrounds them.

And on that dark night, among the shadows that blanket the land, there shines a small light: hope for change, and a belief that goodness will triumph over darkness.

"Not what you expected, Dawson?" He cocked his head, his cold-stone, dead eyes - stormy grey as I had seen before - were piercing and icy, pale blue. "I had plans other than you too - typical monday. I suppose we shall both have to make do."

I took a step back, wide-eyed, because no. This was not what I had expected at all. A little awkwardness, a little chill, a little frustration, not a dead body on the floor! "What are you?"

Within the confines of the Brooks Female Boarding House, its residents have spent practically their entire lives living in a world dominated by Madam Brooks. ❝Anastasia❞ a girl rising to slaughter and locked in the attic for three years as a punishment, is determined to take control her own fate and knows for certain something has to change. Then, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, it does. But does the warning weather or the dark silhouette casting shadow upon her life, hold the answers she seeks - or more questions? Or maybe it's just danger; a tall, dark stranger attired in black hindering her escape.

S3v14 is Supercombat. An android made specifically for war.

But by the time she was completed the war was already over.

Now S3v14 spends her days doing house chores at her creator's house.

Follow the slice-of-life story of S3v14 as she spends her days of peace with her creator which she calls him "Master".

I came up with the idea for this story about a year ago... But sadly in the stress of last year, I had a year long art block. Which sucked. This whole story evolved immensely from the short prologue I wrote back in August after creating a random character on a character creator. In time that character became the main character of this story, Arliss. I now have loads of ideas about what I'm going to do with this, most of which I've come up with while listening to songs (I love you distorted colours playlist) so hopefully I'll actually write more than the prologue this time. I have no idea how regularly I'll be updating this.... Just depends on how much time I have and when I actually figure out the order of all the story's events and how to write them... so yup this is a work in progress, so I'll be following the story as well as you, but I hope, when I actually write more, that you'll enjoy the story and maybe even love the characters like I do.
