As Easter is tomorrow, we'll get in the theme of things! Write a short piece about Easter. It can be anything- a poem about new life, a dramatic fight over chocolate, Easter from the Easter Bunny's perspective, whatever you want, but it has to relate to Easter. Looking forward to see your entries!

Create a character with powers of your choice. No power is too much! Make sure to include appearance, personality, backstory, description of what they can do and (optional- extra points if you do, however!) a short piece of them in action. Write a story based on the image I will describe to you: A scene where the left-bottom corner is darkness, then, turns lighter, until the right-upper corner is white. The middle of the scene is grey. What do you think of this scene? Do you think of the forces of evil VS the forces of good? Do you think of pure suffocating loss, or bright, happy hope? 100 - 1500 words

Create a short story or poem about a conflict between characters that has finally hit the boiling point! Consider when and where the fight/argument will take place. Is this a fight between strangers or brothers? Have two rivals finally run into each on the battlefield, or has the old lady next door finally discovered who's been stealing her newspapers? Maybe this is a domestic between lovers. Or maybe Mom is done asking you to clean your room!

Brevity is ideal, but if you need more than one issue to convey the depth of your tale, you are welcome to enter up to two additional times--That gives you up to 4500 words to craft with! However, any more than that and I may not have time to read it...

Are you good with plot twists? Then right a one chapter long story with a good plot twist at the end, people loves a good plot twist rather than cliff hangers, right?

100 - 1500 words

Create a short story or poem about how you and your MC (or multiple MCs--I'm not your mama) meet in real life! Consider the location, how they react (or blend in) to their surroundings, what you'll say, etc... Have they been here all along? Or did they travel here through magical means? Are they aware of being a story character?

Brevity is ideal, but if you need more than one issue to convey the depth of your tale, please keep things under 4500 words/three issues.
