Highschool. It seems simple enough, right? When you're younger, you dream of the days when you can be a highschooler and do what you want. All of the freedoms and privileges the older kids get… But it's not that great. In all honesty, I'd much rather graduate or go back to being in elementary school than being stuck in these walls with other teenagers, who will gossip and make fun of you the moment you do something even remotely odd. Where the admins turn their cheeks to bullies, while the kids being bullied fight for their life everyday, just to get made fun of some more. "Oh, it's just highschool," people say. Yes, it is just highschool. I'm aware. But highschool shouldn't be a dangerous place for kids, a place where you don't want to go in fear of being made fun of or talked about. It shouldn't be a place that makes you suicidal and wanting to hurt yourself. It should be a place for you to learn, for you to want to learn and make friends and be happy.. But it's not. Because if you aren't the one getting bullied, you are the bully. And that's not right.
