I don't feel safe here,

under pressure,

To be someone else under any measure.

I don't feel safe in the halls,

Where kids throw slurs around like balls.

The admins don't care

Cause I'm just a ´tranny´ wasting their air.

When I stand up for myself,

I get lectured, no one else.

We fight for our rights, to no avail

There are still transphobes everywhere.

I don't feel safe here, I really don't,

The kids could stop but they won't.

Teachers stand by

As these slurs are thrown,

Not caring as I hold my own.

These slurs are wounds,

The teachers are salt.

I thought they would care,

But apparently not.
