As the dove fell, the Blue Jay watched.

The dove’s feathers floated blissfully through the air,

And the stars shined on it.

The Jay yearned for more.

Something more than the cycle.

So the stars shined on the blue jay too.

The Jay wished to never stop falling;

To fly valiantly without twists,

And with shimmers that turned into the stars themselves.

So the Jay searched,

For an eternity,

Across the torrent.

They searched for something,

That’d be worthy of shimmers.

But in their search they forgot what shimmers were.

They forgot shimmers are sporadic.

That they are excursions from the truth.

They’re certain uncertainties.

While they’re encircled by craziness.

That they challenge and confuse us.

They push us past our limits.

Even through embarrassment and passion.

The Jay lost values of scintillatingly shimmering,

Because they feared hitting the ground,

And never lifting themselves up again.

But in the process,
