Ikuta and Atsuki ate with Zhack while he explained " Vedrfolnir said that because of how they had another life before dad got rid of the memories of that life the Ratatoskr now has two souls in him , their melded too well and they're slowly going to tear each other apart so Vedrfolnir asked if they could consult with the fates about it "

" Yes , culture is what brings people together , there were still temples of gods despite ragnarok , the church only preserved because of their teachings , of course leaders can also be a part of culture if they were able to show a great influence in the nation " Chara said .

A light shined , a dragon's roar sounded and Yggdrasil's roots stretched out , everyone watched from the sky to witness it whether they were in the daytime zone or not " Wow it's so beautiful " Ikuta gazed at the beautiful branches that stretched out , it didn't block the sun or there to the sky .
From afar Yggdrasil seemed visible yet also invisible , the roar that sounded made the hearts of several dragonkin beat and the flash of light allowed some dwarves to gaze into the stars and feel the presence of the will of the world . suddenly the sky of the daytime zone started to clear up .
Ikuta figured it must be something related to Atlas's ability to show the stars even in the daytime but sensed a bit of Erebus's divinity consuming the light that could be reflected by dust particles in the atmosphere .
He also watched the sun weaken in light and the sky's stars all shimmered coloring the beautiful cloudless sky " What is that ? " Ikuta recalled how Aichel and Redun were searching for knowledge of the stars from Atlas .
" Huh " Ezio and Ikuta felt something increase " Woah " Ezio was surprised by the increase in his stats " My stats increased " everyone else checked surprised " Mine too " everyone cheered while Ikuta looked at the pitiful digit that increased .
" Oh mine too " he said with the least excitement that's even less than Atsuki who was surprised to see a change in her status .
Aichel and Redun finished using the stars to extend the life of every beastkins and humans after excluding the dragons giving them just a little bit for Drakon to extend .
" The stars are a great conduit " Aichel said and turned to face the collasal tree Yggdrasil with the three fates and the world tree trio giving her a bow to show respect and Chaos and Chara beside her .
" Are you awake Yggdrasil ? " Chara asked " Yes child tell me what happened , why is the Midgard I am on different from the Midgard I know of ? " Chara creates a liquid of memory and giving it to Yggdrasil " I see so that's your mother "
" Yes , thanks to her power I was able to remove the damage done to your body " " So this child that now bears the burden of feeding is still doing it ? " Vedrfolnir answered Yggdrasil's question " Yes milady , however , we would still like to continue helping Ikuta , he had helped a lot in raising your children "

Ikuta was curious about what Chaos means " Right now you managed to reach a state which showed complete emptiness luckily you returned from it " Ikuta nodded " so I want to investigate if you are like me or not " Ikuta didn't understand what Chaos means .
" First can you create something out of nothing ? " Ikuta shakes his head " Yet you can bring back what you made disappear " " oh it's like my dad's powers " Chaos remembered how they were briefed about the denier's power to erase and bring them back .

Ikuta created a perfectly spherical shape , if you were to zoom in very deep into anything you would find bumps that are hardly noticeable because they are very small .
But no matter how far you zoomed in on Ikuta's sphere it remains smooth " How about you investigate that space expansion power you obtained from Hades , it seems to have increased in strength " Ikuta checked around and found that the abyss he had in him was larger .
" It is " " his power compliments the void which you seem to have dominion over " Chaos said while Ikuta turned to Chaos " You don't have dominion over it ? "
Chaos shook their head " while I am called the yawning void my dominion isn't the same as yours , I am able to create from nothing but not control the void "
Ikuta thought about why and asked " Because I am a source of creation , you could say I was born from the void as before me was nothing I wouldn't describe the void as an entity but a state however now you have changed that and become the void "
Both of them thought it was strange " but what about dad ? " " They are not someone that came from me nor am I familiar with who they are " Chaos said " Perhaps a foreigner or someone that came from another being like me " Ikuta was confused about what Chaos means .
" There are other gods like you ? " " yeah but this is really weird " Chaos also enters in the void to check on Ikuta " so you do have dominion over it " " This is really weird can I go back now " Chaos observed the space and nodded . Ikuta quickly dove back into the hole with a beam of nothingness passing the hole revealing his body .
" that is so weird " Chaos and Harkness both returned ' So he's claimed the void as his ' Chaos thought , they wondered if this could contribute to the problem that Ikuta had which Chara mentioned . Ikuta goes to bed wondering about the experience and all about it .
' I have a weird family ' thinking about how different they each are from each other made him think about the gods more specifically the Olympian gods ' But it's not a family I hate ' he goes to sleep and wakes up the next day .
He heads to the voidlings home and meet with his friends " So I went to the internet and found a way to make a familiar ceremony at home " Nisse said " Is that allowed ? " " Of course not , but I told them it was for Ikuta and since nobody applied for him I did "
Nisse shows a paper with a simple spell formula " Now Ikuta please use it so we can finally see your familiar " Ikuta was surprised at how easy it was to get something " What's stopping people from getting as many familiars as they want ? " Ikuta asked .
" Having too many familiars means you will have to feed too many " Druk said " Ohhh " Ikuta looked at the spell formula always wondering what it actually is " They also said while you were gone at Friday that familiars are made by grabbing elements and giving them a form "
Ikuta was interested in what his familiar would be but became even more interested in why he obtained the ability instead of a familiar during the first ceremony " At first I thought Atsuki was your familiar she is a reflection of you " Pyra said " She is strong just like you " Druk said .
Ikuta touched the familiar paper and wondered what it would do . Runes appeared again but instead of on the ground they floated in the air " Wow that looks so cool "
Ikuta wondered what this was and a tear appeared with the runes flying into it ' That's the void ' Ezio was curious and looked at the back to see nothing .
" that's weird " Ikuta wondered if there was something he needed to do and reached inside " nothing " " what is this then ? " Ezio asked " It's the void it's probably because of what I did yesterday " they were confused about what he did and Ikuta told them how he somehow got dominion over the void just like how Gaia personifies midgard .
" Wait then how did you " Druk was kicked by Nisse and she whispered to him " if he doesn't want to talk about it it's fine " Druk was confused about why .
" since the void is nothing and Chaos made you possess it maybe it became your body so try to call your familiar out of your body which is the void " Nisse said .
She showed an example and Ikuta copied her . The cut spits out an egg about half the size of Ikuta " Huh " Ikuta was confused about what the egg was and picked it up " Is this supposed to hatch ? " Ikuta asked and looked at the dragons and Ezio " Usually you keep it warm " Druk said .
" Yeah and you make sure you don't break it " Ezio said recounting how his cousins were very careful around the house before he hatched . Meanwhile Ikuta was curious about what his egg was going to look like and decided to see inside it but was surprised " Huh it's empty "
" What do you mean " Ikuta checked again " it's really empty " " how can you tell ? " Pyra asked " Uhm " Ikuta doesn't know what to do " " it just is I need to ask Chaos " Ikuta ran to the research facility nearby and went to Chaos showing them the egg .
" Well how about that " Chaos observed the egg " the shell is of a material that I didn't create " Chaos said and Ikuta wondered if there was anything he could do " Maybe I can try putting something in " Ikuta said " Then let me " Chaos leaves their hand on the shell pulls back .
" I've given it a spark of creation " " so I can put more things in it ? " " Of course you can , but they need to be able to pass tthe shell " Ikuta wondered if he should visit other gods to see if he could give his familiar more blessings to help it hatch and returned " So what did Chaos say ? " Ezio asked curiously .
" Well they gave me something but I'm not sure what it is " " so you're familiar is just an eggshell ? " Pyra asked " it is pretty hard to destroy " Ikuta tossed it into the air and timed the attack smashing through the sides " See " they were surprised to see it go that way .
" Mmm maybe you should let them warm it " Ikuta looked at the voidlings " Hmm I'll try to ask " Ikuta took the big egg to the voidlings " Here " they looked at it remembering the familiar times when they take care of their infant sensing Ikuta's intentions .
They nuzzled to Ikuta surrounding him and the egg " uhh I meant the egg only " Ikuta got off the voidlings and they filled up his spot surrounding the egg . They looked at it " they look so cute like this " Ikuta nodded and they stared at them thinking about how warm and cozy this would actually be .
" This looks like that documentary I watched " Pyra said " What was it ? " Amber asked " It was about how dragons used to take care of their young " " oh I remember that one two you know how wolves would curl up to keep warm during the winter " Ezio said .
They wondered what it felt like " Ikuta can we ask them to hug us like that ? " Amber asked " Sure " Ikuta went into the voidling and closed his eyes for a nap . The voidling nearby curled around him putting their soft tail over him .
Ezio joined and a voidling with feathers surrounded him with their body " Oohh this is nice " Pyra went for one too " Come one Druk join us " Nisse watched and another one grabs her with their tail to give her some warmth .
