" Do you know that Chimeras can be made by fusing embryos " Ezio said " Why are you saying something nerdy ? " Nisse asked " He has been watching how to create artificial monsters " Pyra answered .
It was already the last day of March after the exams and the friend group was at the voidlings home talking about what was happening especially since they had new subjects and hadn't had a good conversation because the school was pushing a new curriculum in a tight schedule .
" Why are you learning about Chimeras most monsters are already extinct ? " Druk asked " Because they're cool , the ancient civilization modified the genetics of livestock for better meat and products " Ezio said .
" That sounds so Scifi " " The ancient civilization was more like an aetherpunk " Amber said " Yeah but that's because they actually used magic and now we get to see it again " Ezio was excited to see it .
" Do you think we can see the ancient civilizations before the billionaires do ? " Nisse asked showing how much she doesn't like rich people " Oh but it's okay if you do Ikuta , even if you are a multi-generation billionaire you deserve it more "
' Why doesn't he visit his dad at the underworld ? ' Druk thought " I'm not sure when Aichel and Redun would finish , they said they need a long time to move the dungeon that Redun manages and it sounds like it will be finished in summer "

" How is the egg ? " Amber asked " It's fine , I tried my best to give it as many things as I could and now I'm just waiting " Ikuta tried to think of things that could help his egg grow " Maybe there's something strange about the water "
Ikuta pours out a glass of water and creates a pocket of void pouring it in " What are you doing ? " Amber asked curious of why Ikuta was making that " You know how Niflheim mana is just water but very cold right ? " everyone nodded aware of it .
" So I thought I could make some niflheim mana by pouring water into the void , it doesn't have anything warm so I thought it would work " Ikuta watched the water come out of the pocket frozen .
" Maybe I should've used water mana " While everyone was closely looking at it Nisse thought of a few things " Ikuta what if you give the egg the void then ? " Nisse asked which confused Ikuta " Why ? "
" Well tell me this , your familiar came from the void so doesn't it make sense for you to give it more of the habitat it came from , I know that my familiar enjoys sleeping by a tree but not on dead wood , Ambers would prefer a natural rock and Druk's and Pyra's love pure elemental mana "
Ikuta was confused and Nisse continued " So why not imbue the power of void to it ? " Ikuta looked at the block of ice " So if I have been giving it water mana " " You should use the void to turn it into Niflheim mana , Wait let me check to see if I got that right "
While Nisse searched how Niflheim mana is created Ikuta thought ' But I've been giving Mago so many blessings why would they need nothing ' Ikuta had many gods give Mago their blessing and then remembered that a few didn't .
He looked at the giant egg and remembered what gods do when they receive blessings from another god ' A god's blessing can be overwhelmed , but for Mago , the blessings are overwhelming them instead '
Ikuta sat on top of a nearby voidling that took their turns to warm the egg and touched the egg ' It must be cramp in there ' he used Hades's powers and widened the space in the egg .
He watched through it and spots that at the very center of the egg , the branches of yggdrasil touched it . He watched the branches stretch out and grasp the blessings of the gods .
Branches touched the spark of creation causing the branches connecting it to continuously change and color yet the center remained fully empty . The water blessing from Poseidon turns to ice after it was moved away from the hearth Hestia gave Ikuta and was grasped by branches which froze .
Meanwhile , there was another puddle of water that never froze , it was another blessing by Yggdrasil which was given to Mago to gather memories just like Harry . The branches that took it were everchanging too with runes glowing randomly .
Ikuta watched the branches stretch out " Oh you're gonna run out of lifeforce " he quickly gave it more Ichor which he learned from Stork , he expanded the space as Zhack had guided him and he untangled a few branches that got in each other's way .
He waited and watched it while his friends didn't try to interrupt him " Ahh man " Ikuta said with a sigh of disappointment " What's wrong ? " Pyra asked " Mago still won't hatch , I gave it a lot of space already "
" Did you give Mago the food it should be eating ? " " There was Poseidon's blessing which froze " " That wouldn't be enough Ikuta you have to do more than that " Ikuta sighed and wished he could go ask Chara .
It took some time but Ikuta finally met Chara " Maybe I can help you but I need you to finish what Harkness is studying you'll probably get it soon enough " " So what will I be helping ? " " You'll be helping by a lot now here's what I need you to do " Chara whispers how Ikuta could help himself .
" Also here you go " Chara gives Ikuta a present " Happy birthday from all of us "

Later at June , Chara walked through Muspelheim together with Zhack " You can back away you don't like this place " " Haha very funny " Zhack was wearing something else different since his original outfit couldn't withstand the heat of muspelheim .
" Just tell that guy with us to make sure to fill it up in time I'll go to the other side now " Zhack dashes out and starts digging down while Chara pokes through it with a spell creating a small hole " Make sure you create another star "
She told the primordial lifeform of Muspelheim , she dropped the glass bottle containing the soul and Zhack reached the part and quickly sized the fossils ' Over here and then here ' he marked the coordinates .
" Alright Stork you're up " Zhack took a sword out of his inventory and was scolded about how he handled it " My goodness this is why I always had to commision people to get you back " Stork said and quickly shrunk the fossils .
" It's done get going " Zhack seized a small globe and started running away from the star that was going to fill the void Zhack left " Oh man this is exciting " Zhack passed the hole he dug and a volcano formed through it .
" Finally now gotta head back with Chara " Chara receives the globe " Good job this will be enough " they head back to Mount Olympus with the fossils and place it aside .
" So about that premonition do you think this would work ? " Zhack pointed at a dark cloak with sparkling lights " It will be " Locke said grabbing it out of his hands and flying out of Midgard through Mount Olympus while Zhack hopped onto his back .
" I like what you've done to this place " Redun said in a mobile golem " I know it's one of my works , it's sort of easier when they tell me what I need " Stork said " How's Aichel ? " " He's still very busy with reworking mom and dad's power "
" Pretty sure Ikuta has it going properly " Harkness appeared " So how are you going to use that oathbreaker ? " Redun asked " Drop it to break all of Baldr's oaths , of course , his body is no longer here but the oaths contain a portion of it "
Harkness puts a slip and holds it up " Let's hope for the best " everyone in the world went in their homes in full lockdown .

Months ago the many governments' members watched the footage of the otherworlders planning for their destruction before Harkness revealed her false betrayal .
" We have to make sure we can find our home all we need is a proper rebel , the only one who would help us destroy this world so they can remake it "
Harkness turned to the titan Cronus who laid asleep with seals of 12 symbols around him " Only Hestia hasn't been killed " a single segment around Cronus that showed fire with wood was glowing brightly .
' So that's why there were twelve of each ' her eyes turned to another Titan who is trapped in time . The goddess Rhea , Harkness uncovered their plan to force Cronus and Rhea to create wishes , something which each of their child has at least one .
" I hope you can cooperate with us " the Oathbreaker that's now in Harkness's hands was the thing that will trigger Fimbulwinter a dangerous end-of-the-world scenario , a force that starved the old world .
By killing any part of Baldr's living body it can cause the cold of outer space to seep into the creations thereby bringing a cold freezing winter . Everyone felt scared to learn about it and many of the supermarkets were closed with barely any food left inside .
The tension grew and the gods watched from Asgard with Yggdrasil's branches connecting it . Harkness drops the oathbreaker on a paper slip .
Locke quickly flies faster with the cloak ' Never a fan of the vacuum of space . ' Zhack looked at the several wolves that were chasing them there mouths drooling at devouring the sun and moons that the cloak showed ' Nyx's cloak really works well as a bait . '
Meanwhile , at Midgard the sun was being concealed from anyone outside . Winter froze the world and it was slowly seeping into the houses , all of this wasn't just for show but a declaration of war .
Corpse soldiers , jotunns both fire and ice walked the branches of Yggdrasil . Ikuta went to Mount olympus and Chara took the globe with the fossils of the ancient lifeforms .
In other world's several other paper slips were pierced by a part of the oathbreaker . the cold of space pierced the atmosphere slowing the artificial creations of the otherworlders down .
Chara places the small globe into the center of an altar " To the virgin goddess of the hearth and home , firstborn of the Titan Cronus and Rhea , Time hasn't been kind to your dominion over the warmth of homes , many has abandoned your flames as time passes "
The small globe of fossils starts to glow and Chara starts to whisper to Hestia " Even though some have abandoned you a few hasn't , they reached out to you wishing to help you , now please as the firstborn that placed fear into Cronus's soul , give us the grace you had always given long before the first Ragnarok and bring warmth to the home we mortals live in "
Hestia reached the small globe of fossils and grasped it . Sparks flew out of mount olympus and raining into the homes of many . Fire lighted up at stovetops , dead soil and for those without a proper fireplace , the spark floated in the air warming the home .
The sparks flew into the chilling seas warming the homes of the marine beastfolks who couldn't leave their habitats . The sparks continued to fly out as Hestia blessed the entirety of Midgard making the cold go away in the realm .
" We got step one " " What's step two ? " Ikuta asked and Atsuki activated the portal that Redun and Zhack set up " We have to sound this " Ikuta looked at the Gjallarhorn in front of him .
" You gotta sound it so we can gather The Einherjar to the branches of Yggdrasil she already prepared herself for the battlefield " Chara said .
" Can't we just announce to the world ? " " For the adventurers maybe but not for Einherjar " Estrea said " So put on Harry and use him to put pressure on them to make them recognize you as Odin or at least a figure similar to him "
Ikuta complied with the request to act like Odin but was curious why he had to blow the Gjallarhorn before he could do anything " Let me blow the Gjallarhorn " Atsuki grabbed it and blew the Gjallarhorn .
The sound of the horn rose the spirits and cleansed the damage of time passing from the Einherjar , they were suddenly resurrected and Valhalla was crowded with several warriors of different race " Where are we ? "
They see Chara and recognize her " Saintess did we win ? " Chara shook her head " No we lost but you have a chance to fight again , we're in the future now and some foreign threat is coming replicating the previous ragnarok which is much greater than before "
They looked at Ikuta who had a resolve they were familiar with , they spotted his eyes and remembered Odin " The all father Odin " " he seems different " " Looks young " " And filled with more resolve than before "
" EINHERJAR , today you receive another chance to fight in Ragnarok , with the warriors of the present we will repel the threat that doesn't belong to this world " Chara said her voice echoing through their hearts with a spell .
' Head to the battlefield now " Chara said and Ikuta and Atsuki went in . they arrived at the location of Yggdrasil's branches stretching out of the world . Ikuta walked to the branch and felt a gravitational pull making him stand on it even though it looked like a wall .
Atsuki was curious about this effect and went to it without any concern for her own safety and the other adventurers followed . The Einherjar saw them walk the branch and joined them .
Zhack bends space trying to get all the wolves in line to have Locke blast them in one shot " AHH this is so damn hard " " Why do you suggest getting all of them at once ? "
" It looks cool " " Your desire for that will get us both accused of terrible performance so just let me throw Nyx's cloak aside then we strike "
Seeing how long he was taking to bend space and time Zhack decided to comply " Fine , I'm opening our way to the mirror world " Locke sees a reflection of himself and preserves his speed while the wolves are caught off guard and slow their speed down .
Locke flew up turning his back facing down and Zhack canceled the gravitational pull free falling out of Locke's back " I got the Hati's " " I got the star devourer's "
Locke envelops himself in various different manas and Zhack increased his weight both of them strike all of the wolves together . The corpses were pushed aside and they landed on a moving asteroid " You gotta admit that was cool "
" Yes yes now lead us back " " Sure " Zhack bends the space of the mirror dimension turning the asteroid they were standing on into a room and made it zoom on a straight line towards Midgard " Are you sure this is safe ? " " Absolutely no matter how much I change space nothing will happen . "
Locke watched the speed they were traveling by observing their surroundings " You do realize we are moving really fast right ? " " Yeah so ? " Locke couldn't help but worry " AHH we are going too slow come on move faster " as Zhack made the room they were in accelerate they crashed into something .
" WHAT THE HEL !!?? " Zhack looked around and looked at the cracked wall to the real world " Uhm " " How did you break the space barrier " " there's a barrier for this ? " " Of course there is , it's the thing that is separating the mirror world and the real one "
" How do you know that , I just discovered this world " " I've been here okay now let's just fly " They exit the crack flying towards the battlefield ' They look a lot like ants crawling through a tree . '
Zhack spots a horde of "ants" crawling fast ' So even Fenrir is duplicated ' Ikuta dashes to the horde of Fenrirs swinging his sword carefully unless he wanted to cut off Yggdrasil on accident .
The einherjar and adventurers were impressed by Ikuta handling the hordes of Fenrirs like they were nothing ' Hey Ikuta can't you fight in the mirror world ? "
Zhack asked ' I did , chaos said they made it stronger but I cut through it " Ikuta made the cold void scatter into the air Yggdrasil created freezing the fenrirs .
A Jormungandr charged into Ikuta and Ikuta felt the presence of the void stronger here due to the emptiness of space . A wall of emptiness blocks Jormungandr crashing their head into the solid wall . Ikuta goes through it allowing the air Yggdrasil made to occupy the emptiness and swings his sword .
' What's that ? " ' the void , it's kinda like Harkness's dark magic " ' Try using that to fight then " Ikuta kicked Jormungandr out of the root and formed his blade .
' This is better " Ikuta formed more platforms and hopped around them cutting Jormungandr removing the platforms and letting the serpent's body float in the air .
" Amazing " the Einherjar and adventures were baffled by Ikuta's fighting potential wondering how much he was holding back .
" This kinda seems boring " " Why do you always find things like these as boring " Locke flies into the battlefield and Zhack looks at the rest of the roots " How about I find the source of our problems ? " Zhack leaves Locke who dove into a horde a bit further from the main battlefield .
Zhack ran along the horde and saw some flying units ' Stork , tell everyone that flying valkyries are coming " Stork who had stationed an artificial Valhalla quickly sent an announcement .
" Soldiers flying enemies are coming make sure to watch out from above and below the roots " Atsuki ran through the horde getting rid of the stronger ones and a Valkyrie flew from the side with their sword .
Atsuki brought her diamond scythe to block their way and watched more coming to the Valkyrie's aid . She kicked the one away making other Valkyries catch them and she swung the scythe at the group forming a cut to the void " Atsuki hold back a bit "
Chara said " I don't know how okay I'm not even a year old yet " Atsuki complained " Here you go " Ikuta tapped on the battlefield turning it into the void " Here , now you can keep going " Atsuki smiled and charged into the horde . Ikuta followed her killing the strong ones she missed .
The void followed Ikuta bringing back Yggdrasil's branches as he reached even further away from them . While Zhack was trying to find the end of the army he saw some other things in the distance " Oh dang " he saw a giant clock that kept turning spitting out duplicates of monsters .
Upon seeing the grand and giant clock that was spewing out things and life at the center . He quickly escaped to the mirror realm or else he'd get caught by the otherworlders guarding it and contacts Chara .
' I need that to be destroyed " Chara said ' how do I destroy this ? " Zhack described the giant clock to her .
' It must be Cronus's power , you can try sealing it so we can use it , add the powers of the twelve Olympian gods or something similar " ' Is that even enough ? " Zhack wouldn't believe it was that simple .
' If you like to be difficult you have to give a lot of power on it of course not mother's power " ' yeah I know that much , so how do I do it ? " ' The seal on Cronus is supposed to be sustained by the power of twelve Olympian gods you can weaken it if you place yourself as a replacement for the seals "
' okay then I'll try to weaken it " Zhack left the mirror realm and ran quickly to the giant clock only to hit a very hard barrier " AHHHHH , WHAT THE HEL IS THIS " the speed combined with the hardness of the barrier caused Zhack's head to ache from the force .
He was noticed and quickly returned to the mirror world ' I'm not sure if you can understand but a big important artifact like this usually comes with security " ' Maybe I should've learned from thieves a little ' Zhack thought and used the mirror world to try to get in .
" what ? Can I not do this then ? " Zhack recalled the possible security that Chara had predicted which was the barrier and Locke pointing out the space barrier that is present between the mirror dimension ' I did break it before so I'll just do it again '
Zhack spotted an asteroid and contained it in a room ' First I need enough speed ' he didn't know how thick the barrier might be so he grabbed more ' It might also heal but it's better to overestimate than underestimate ' more asteroids were spinning at great speed below a certain limit .
" Now come here " Zhack made the room charge into the barrier and left the Mirror realm " There he is " The otherworlders summoned their powers and were ready to kill Zhack .
Zhack stood confidently with his hands on his waist and heard something shatter . The otherworlders were surprised to hear the barrier break , Shards flew around and the otherworlders were killed as if the shards were portals that only sent over a portion of their body to another location leavings their bodies full of holes
Zhack walked into the barrier ignoring the space shards passing by them while they were slowly putting themselves back with the rest . He touched the side of the clock and exerted his strength .
The sound of thunder echoed through the roots and the clock stopped working " huh weird what happened ? " Zhack asked Ikuta who stopped on the side with Atsuki taking a break .
' Harry said that the things we are fighting are all from the past recreated by Chronus's power they're not real or there would be a lot of problems " ' Oh I honestly thought Cronus made another timeline or something " Ikuta reminded Zhack to avoid watching time traveling films .
' still it's impressive that the otherworlders got that , how is that possible " Zhack asked Ikuta and Harry zoomed his vision to see the clock ' That's Epimetheus's hindsight " Ikuta said .
' so that's why there's an eye " ' Either way if they can use Epimetheus's hindsight wouldn't they be able to use Prometheus's foresight then ? " Everyone listening wondered if that was possible .
' if you are worried about us fighting future versions of ourselves then search for it " Locke said . He covered himself in his wings and bottled up his mana together and unleashed it causing a massive explosion ' Didn't Chaos already say they can't see us in the future ' Harry thought .
But the potential of a much greater threat due to the past visions of Ragnarok made Harry look for the other clock " Ikuta can you turn the side of the monsters ? " Ikuta did so fighting anything that came in his way while Harry searched for the giant clock with an eye too .
" Found it " Harry said and gave the location to Ikuta ' I'll head over there " ' Stop if you do the visions of the past will spawn and our forces still aren't used to fighting yet "
Chara warned ' Then I'll go " Locke flew out of the roots and headed for the other clock " Let me join " Atsuki jumped onto his back and Ikuta followed " Estrea I need help with strengthening our soldiers "
