"Mmmm" mumbled Monica as she slowly opened her eyes. She wiped the sleep out of her eyes and looked at the clock. It was three in the afternoon and lunch in the dining room was almost over. She quickly washed her face and headed downstairs. When she entered the dining hall she noticed there were three young men.
"Hello" they said.
"Hello" said Monica.
"Today for lunch is chili or vegetable beef soup with lemonade or sweet tea" said one of the men.
"Thanks" said Monica. She decided to have chili and lemonade and sat three chairs down from the men.
"Are you new here?" asked one of the men.
"Yes" replied Monica.
"Introduce you" said the second man.
"Oh, I'm Brent Smith" said Brent.
"I'm Monica Rosewood" said Monica.
"Are you a tourist here?" asked Brent.
"No" replied Monica.
"Brent we are done eating and if you don't come on we're leaving you behind" said the second guy. "Alright, Cole I'm coming. It was nice talking to you" said Brent and followed after his friends.
Monica finished up her food and headed to the front desk.
"Can I help you with today Miss Rosewood?" asked Becky.
"Do you know where the unemployed office is in Ménage?" asked Monica.
"Sure. Just give me a minute" replied Becky as she grabbed a sticky note and pen. After briefly writing something on the sticky note she handed it to me.
"Thank you" said Monica and she left.
Two hours later she arrived at the unemployment office.
"Hello, Can I help you?" asked a woman.
"Yes, I would like to find a job in Ménage" replied Monica.
"Is there a specific job you're looking for?" asked the woman.
"A job as a librarian" replied Monica.
"Let me go check my files and I'll be back if I find something or not" said the woman.
"Ok" said Monica and she took a seat in front of the computer.
Since she knew it would probably take a while for the woman to find her particular job she decided to kill two birds with one stone at a time and find herself an apartment to rent. She was searching for ten minutes before she felt a light tap on her shoulder.
"Did you find anything?" asked Monica as she looked up from the computer.
"No librarian jobs but Lanett's Bookstore is looking for an extra cashier" replied the woman.
"I'll take it" said Monica.
"Here you go" said the woman as she handed over a piece of paper.
"Thank you" said Monica.
"Would you like me to also help you find an apartment that meets your requirements?" asked the woman.
"Yes" replied Monica.
"Then we'll have to trade seats first" said the woman.
"Sorry" said Monica and she quickly got up.
"No problem" said the woman as she took the seat.
"How many bedrooms do you want?" asked the woman
"I would like two bedrooms" replied Monica.
"Bathrooms?" asked the woman.
"I want two bathrooms" replied Monica.
"Budget?" asked the woman.
"I have a budget from three hundred dollars all the way up to four hundred dollars" replied Monica.
"Here are four options for you. Just look at each option apartment pictures and if you see one you like call and set up a tour" said the woman.
"Thank you for all your help" said Monica.
"No problem. I aim to help as many people as i can" said the woman.
