As they both sat there thinking about the revelation that was just brought upon Jade couldn’t even imagine as she knew that Drake was right. Knowing that Bastien was only to be loyal to the King and at the time that the scandal happened, Constantine was still technically the king. As she sat there in shock and as the information raced through her she knew that there was no way that she was going to be able to clear her name knowing that this could go way too deep. “We might have to talk to Regina before you can even get close to Constantine” Drake said starting to bring her into his arms a little bit “Drake, there is no way that I am going to get cleared now. If it was Constantine or even Regina that set this up, I am only me there is no way that I can go against them” she said starting to let the tears fall from her eyes a little bit. Drake looked to her and hated it immediately that she was so sad and feeling defeated and as he turned her to look at him he cupped her cheek “Jade look at me” and as she did the tears fell freely as she didn’t even care anymore “You are the strongest woman that I know, you have taken this lie and you have taken control, this is just one more step. If we can prove it you know that Liam will stand up for you and help anyway that he can. You can do this and you have to remember that you are not alone in this. You are never alone” and as he looked to her right in the eyes she felt her heart breaking a little bit more knowing that he was right but she just felt so defeated. “Thank you Drake” she said as she started to look to him leaning to him and kissing his cheek before he started to take her into his arms and laying back with her.
Over the next few hours Jade ended up falling asleep in Drakes arms but that sweet slumber was soon interrupted as there was a knock on the door. Jade started to wake as she heard the knocking continue she started to look over and saw that Drake was still sleeping so soundly and as she looked at him she didn’t want to wake him but as the knocking continued she knew that she had too “Drake. Drake someone is at the door” and as she leaned in kissing his forehead and then a gentle kiss to his lips she started to feel him moving a little bit “Mmm now this is a way to be woken up” and as he started to stir she smiled to him knowing that she could get used to waking him up like that. “I didn’t want to wake you but it’s probably Maxwell” and as she started to get out of the bed he started to groan doing the same getting up and starting to get his shirt back on that he had removed as Jade headed to the door. She looked back at Drake apologetic before opening the door. “Good Morning Jade, what…oh hey Drake” and as Jade looked to Maxwell she immediately said “Sorry he just got here a few moments ago, come in” and as he started to let him in Maxwell just smiled starting to think to himself but not saying anything as he started to walk over to the bed. Soon Drake and Jade informed Maxwell of what was thought of the night before and as Maxwell shook his head he looked to Jade “This…this could be the time where we get Liam involved, he can get closer to Constantine than we can” and as Drake explained that it would be safer to have Jade try and talk to Regina, that is when Maxwell popped up and said “That’s actually why I am here. There is a tea party this afternoon and I know that Regina will be there, it could be the perfect time for you to try and talk to her” and as he looked over to Jade who looked really out of it he said “Jade? Are you up to do that?” and as Jade looked to him she just nodded.
After a few more moments of talking about the plan for today with Regina, Maxwell told Jade to meet him in a little bit at the boutique and informed her that Hana and Olivia were already there. Jade told him that she just needed a few moments and as he left Jade shut the door and turned to Drake “I can’t do this Drake, this is over” she said as she started to lean back to the door and letting more tears fall from her green eyes. Drake immediately went to her wrapping his arms around her “Yes you can baby you are going to have us all there and I do think that now would be a good time to get Liam involved a little bit more, well as much as he can” and as he talked to her she cried to his chest as he held her close. Jade started to hug him back as she then looked up to him “I hope you’re right because right now, I am not feeling too confident at all” she said as he leaned in resting his forehead to hers gently “You got this Jade, I believe in you” and as they stood there for a few more moments she then asked Drake to walk with her to the boutique and he of course did.
Once down in the boutique Jade and Drake were looking over the dresses as they realized that they were actually alone. Soon Jade found a pink dress with a floral pattern, which was perfect for a tea party. The dress also had a pink ribbon tied into a bow around the waist and as she looked at it she smiled as she then walked to the dressing room to get changed. As she was in there she found herself taking a little bit longer than normal as her mind was racing over and over with what today’s outcome could be, but she soon pushed the thoughts out of her mind as she slipped into the dress. It hugged her body just right in length and in the size and as she smoothed down the dress a little bit she looked to herself in the mirror and said to herself ‘This is it Jade, you got this’ and as she turned and walked out she walked right into Drake who looked her over “Wow that dress looks great on you Morgan” and as he smiled to her and took another step he said “Are you sure that you have to leave me” and as he leaned in a little bit she looked up to him “Well if I want to talk to Regina sadly I am going to have too” and as she smiled to him a little bit as she felt him leaning in a little bit more she closed her eyes and just as he was about to kiss her he stopped as he heard the door to the boutique open and they broke apart instantly as Hana walked in.
“There you are!” she said starting to walk to Jade right away hugging her “I was thinking for a moment that you might not be coming, Maxwell told me what you have to do today” and as Hana hugged her again she started to look and saw Drake standing there “Oh…I didn’t interrupt you two talking did I?” she said as she looked from Drake back to Jade and Jade shook her head as Drake said “I was just checking in on Morgan that’s all. I will see you ladies in a little bit” and as he took his leave Hana looked to Jade and said “Did I interrupt you and Drake” and as Jade smiled she just restated what Drake had that he was checking on her and as they talked for a little bit Jade soon got the little courage to finally leave. Soon they were walking out towards the white tent together talking about a few things that could happen, though all too soon they were entering the tent and immediately ran into Madeleine.
“Well look who made it to the party” Madeleine stated as she started to look over Jade and Hana as they stood there taking in the pink and the lace décor of the party “Thank you Madeleine for having us, it looks lovely here” and as Jade smiled to her and then looked around a little bit she then heard Madeleine state “Glad you could join. You know I was just telling my fiancé you would be trained, in time of course” and as Jade heard the word “trained” she started to feel the heat in her body stretching from her head all the way down to her toes. “Trained? What in the he…” and before she could continue Madeleine looked to her and said “Trained to be presentable of course, enjoy your time here dear” and as she sauntered off Jade could feel her hands forming into fists but soon taking in a deep breath to try and calm herself. “You know I never liked her” and as Jade heard the voice of Olivia coming up to her she chuckled a little bit “Olivia you don’t like anyone” and as Olivia shrugged her shoulders kind of in an agreement she started to stand with Hana and Jade for a few moments.
As the ladies finally found their spots of where they were going to be sitting, Jade started to look around finding herself restless as she knew what today was going to be the start of finally getting to the end of this journey and soon her life would be free. Though as she looked around she soon saw Drake and Liam standing there talking and as she looked at them both looking so happy even with whatever they were talking about she found her mind wondering a little bit about both of them and how both of them make her so happy. She knew that soon she was going to be breaking one of their hearts and it broke hers just thinking about it to the point to where she thought that maybe she should just let them both go. But as she knew that she didn’t want to do that she knew that might be for the best for all three of them. But as she started to look to them a little bit more, soon Drake started to look around and from where she was sitting she saw him giving her a little smirk and then a wink. She instantly felt the blush creeping up on her cheeks as she smiled back to him. It wasn’t long before her thoughts were interrupted as another two figures started to catch her eyes as she saw Rashad and Neville starting to walk towards them “Hana don’t look now, the two monkeys that Madeleine is trying to set you up with are here” and as Hana looked to Jade and let out a long sigh she started to look at Jade to act as though they were deep in conversation. Though that didn’t help as they both made their way over even as Maxwell was trying to get to her too Jade saw as she looked behind Hana. “Ladies we do hope that you are having a great time, but we were wondering if we could steal a little bit of Hana’s time” Rashad said nicely. Jade really did not want to leave Hana to the wolves but she seemed to find Rashad more pleasant than Neville and as Jade nodded her head she looked to Hana and said “Talk to you soon dear” and as she gave her a little scratch to the nose Hana knew what she meant as that was their code for help.
Soon Olivia and Jade got up from the table and as Jade went to turn she smacked right dab into a strong body “Well hello Lady Jade, you look stunning as always” and as Jade looked up she found Liam’s baby blue eyes looking right to her and instantly she felt the blush returning to her cheeks and as she smiled to him as if thanking him he soon looked to Olivia “Lady Olivia, you have been missed. I was not sure that you would be joining us today” and as he said this he walked to her hugging her “Well that’s me, never know when I am going to pop up” and as she hugged him back Jade could see a softness in Olivia that was rarely ever shown. As they broke apart Jade could instantly tell that something was off with Olivia and Liam did as well as he asked “Are you alright Olivia?” and as he put a hand on her shoulder she smiled “Yes I am perfectly fine, and you look very well I am happy to see you looking well, but sadly I must head out. I have a few things that I have to take care of while I am here before I go home” and as she hugged Liam one more time Jade caught Liam’s eyes and as Olivia started to turn to walk away Jade leaned to Liam “I will be right back” she said as she started to follow Olivia. “Olivia,…Olivia wait” and as she started to walk a little bit faster to catch up she finally did just on the other side close towards the train. “Olivia come on you can’t hide that something is wrong” and as she placed a hand on her shoulder she started to turn and for the first time Jade actually saw tears in her eyes “It’s funny, he is engaged to the wicked witch of the west, but in love with Dorothy. I can’t help how I feel about him. At least I still have my pride, but don’t worry about me I will be alright, it’s just hard to know that even after all this time…I …” and as she went to continue she straightened up and didn’t let the tears fall “I am going to go with the pride that I have left. I will see you later Jade” and as she looked to Jade and nodded she then turned and started to walk away. This time Jade didn’t go after her but knew that Olivia was hurting and Jade wished with everything that she would talk to her but knew that there was nothing that she could do to change anything.
A few moments later as Jade was standing there worrying about Olivia she soon felt a hand on her back and the soft voice of Liam “Is she okay?” he asked starting to turn Jade to look at him “She’s just dealing with a few things, maybe you should talk to her sometime” and as he smiled to her he shook his head “Here you are in a scandal investigation trying to clear your name but you are more worried about Olivia. You are something else Jade you know that” and as he smiled to her he then said “I will but I want to talk to you first. I heard that you fell asleep early the other night, are you doing alright?” and as Jade smiled to him she said “I am so sorry about that night Liam I was just so tired, I didn’t even hear my alarm to meet you going off. Other than feeling guilty I am doing alright just you know trying to get to the bottom of this” and as she looked to him as she knew the truth in what happened that night she started to feel her heart starting to beat a little bit more. “Yeah Drake mentioned that Hana had told him that you fell asleep early which of course is perfectly fine” and as Jade listened to him she started to wonder about something “Did you and Drake meet up instead…and go exploring without me” and as she tried to play it off that she was hurt she chuckled a little bit as she pouted and put her hand over her heart as if in shock. Liam let out a little laugh of his own as he responded to her while stroking her arm gently “Oh yeah I took Drake on a gondola ride, took him to the Eiffel Tower and we made out under the evening stars” and as Jade looked to him letting her jaw drop open “I knew you two were closer than you let on…lucky guy” and as she looked to him Liam started to eye her a little bit as she caught his eyes dropping to her lips “You know I would give anything to kiss you right now” and as she smiled she said “Is that so? Or would you rather be kissing Drake up against the train” and as she laughed to him he couldn’t stop himself as he brought her closer to him “Oh believe me you are a much better kisser than Drake, and I can tell you that I love your lips a lot more so, they always seem to be perfectly soft” and as he smiled to her they soon found themselves walking a little bit more up the train and soon Jade could feel his arms around her as he leaned in kissing her gently and just for a brief moment before resting his forehead to hers.
“God Jade I don’t know how much longer I can go without having you in my arms” and as he held her there and looked her right in the eyes she looked back to him “I know I just hope that this is all over soon” and as she smiled weakly to him he said “Is there anything more that I can do right now?” and as Jade looked a little sad she said “Sadly not just yet, it’s still not safe. I don’t know what I would do if you ended up hurt or in trouble because of me” and as he was still holding her he grunted a little too loud as she looked up to him “I know that I am getting tired of this act Jade, but I know that when I am needed you will tell me” and as she smiled to him and nodded she then told him to go to Olivia and with a stolen tender kiss he started to walk off to find her. As Jade watched him leave she took in a deep breathe but then started to walk back towards where everyone was and as she soon saw Drake standing there talking to Kiara she knew that she had no reason to be worried as she knew how Drake felt about her. She slowly walked over and just as she was getting close she saw Kiara look up to her “Oh hello Lady Jade, can we help you?” Kiara asked as she started to smile and blush looking to Drake a little bit but then right away back to Jade as Jade just looked on and said “Nope I was just making my rounds to say hello” and as Jade looked to Drake he immediately said “Kiara was telling me how Savannah was taking French lessons from her” and as Kiara smiled she said “Oui, it is such a romantic language don’t you agree Jade?” as she put her hand on Drake’s arm as if sending a sign to Jade. Jade immediately started to feel a little green around the edges but soon stood up tall and said “Why yes it is…” but as she went to continue she soon was stopped by Kiara as she said “I apologize Lady Jade but Drake and I were right in the middle of..” and as Jade started to feel that anger again rising up she looked over as Madeleine was starting to call for her ladies, Kiara looked to Drake and said “We should finish this conversation sometime soon” and as she started to leave Jade saw Kiara give Drake a once look over before heading to where Madeleine was.
“You do know how much I dislike her right?” she said as she turned to Drake and started to cross her arms over her chest and then looking right to Drake. “You know Morgan…” he said starting to take a step to her and gently running a finger over her arm a little bit “You’re pretty damn sexy when you’re jealous” and as Jade could feel the heat starting to radiate through her body she started to then feel it hitting her cheeks “I don’t care if I have to stake a claim in you and mark you to get it through her head” but as she looked to the surprised look on Drake’s face she looked down and continued “But you can do as you wish, you are not mine yet” and as she started to look more to the ground she soon felt his finger raise her chin to look at him before leaning in and whispering “Oh, and how would you claim me Morgan?” he asked her as his breath sent a wave of passion through her body starting to feel the way that her body just caved to his words “Well, right now I am tempted to either give you a very public, very passionate kiss, pin you against the wall and kiss you like we were the only two here or pushing Kiara into the petit fours the next time I find her flirting with you….take your pick Walker” she said as she turned her head to look right to him as a small laugh escaped his lips. “As much as I would love to see you do that, we both know that you have nothing to worry about baby…she is not going to get any part of me except maybe my ear when I ask her questions about my sister” and as he said the he leaned in and whispered close to her again “But if it gets you all riled up to take control like that, maybe I should flirt with her a little bit” and as he started to turn away from her she grabbed his arm and pulled him back to her “Don’t tempt me to take control right here right now, you know what that would cause” and as she looked to him and he looked her right in the eyes he said “What if I want you too? Just let everyone know how hot I get you, how you and I ache for each other” and as he said this his fingers were slowly starting to trace her arm again causing her to shiver. “Drake…you are not playing fair you know that” and as she smiled a little bit he leaned in kissed her cheek so tenderly and far too quickly as he said “When do either of us play fair baby” and as he smiled to her cheek he turned and walked away leaving her standing there for a few moments. Though as she stood there all she could think about what how right he was, how she did want him and how she wanted to do so much with him but right now she was so close she could feel it. After giving herself another moment, she started to walk back towards where everyone was as she knew that she had to find Maxwell.
As she entered where everyone was again she soon spotted Maxwell in the corner but the moment she walked in she didn’t even have to go to him as he walked right to her “Jade I think that I have the perfect idea on how to distract people enough so you can get to Regina” and as Maxwell laid out his plans Jade just shook her head “You think that Drake would go for that?” But just as soon as Maxwell went to answer Drake walked up to be beside Jade “Would I go for what?” and as Jade smiled to him she said “Maxwell thought of a great idea to distract everyone so I can talk to Regina…Maxwell…” and as Maxwell explained, Drake immediately started to reject it that he wasn’t going to do it but he soon looked to Jade and as she looked down to the ground he let out a breath…”Go get Liam,” and as Jade brought her head up she looked shocked as she thought that he would turn down the idea “You, you will actually do this?” and as she looked to Drake and Maxwell looked on Drake nodded his head “For you I would do anything that I have too” and as she smiled shyly she told them that she would go find Liam and see if he would be able to help.
As Jade began walking she soon felt a hand on her shoulder, turning in shock she soon saw Penelope right there by her “Lady Penelope, how are you doing?” and as Jade asked that Penelope looked to the ground and when she looked up she had a sad look in her eyes “Lady Jade, I just…I just wanted to apologize again for the pain that I was part of. You didn’t deserve this and I was selfish for doing something so cruel just to stay in court” and as she started to let a tear go Jade felt a pull at her heart strings but then brought Penelope into a hug “Penelope it’s okay. Really it is, you had no idea what was going to be happening and you have already made up for it by helping me find out that it was Bash that was doing this. Everything will be alright” and as Penelope then hugged her back she smiled a little bit and Jade continued “You were a pawn and you were just doing what you thought was best and I forgive you” and as Penelope thanked her for forgiveness she soon let Jade go to continue on her path to Liam.
A few steps later Jade found Liam standing alone and as she approached she watched his head snap up “I knew you would be here soon” and as he turned to her she smiled “How did you know it was me?” and as she laughed a little bit at the smirk that graced his face he said “Jade I can always tell when you are near” and as he started to step to her she said “I think it’s time to get your help with something, Maxwell came up with an idea to distract everyone so I can try and talk to Regina” and as Liam looked to her his face became serious “You know that I will do anything and everything to help you Jade” and as she smiled she started to walk him back to everyone where soon the plan was laid in stone that they would sing together again as Jade went to Regina “You know I really, really don’t like the idea of you going with her alone” Liam said as he ran a hand through his hair and as Jade smiled she said “Don’t worry as long as I talk to her around people there is no chance that she can off me” and as she chuckled a little bit she saw both Drake and Liam stand firm “I really think that someone should go with you…someone, anyone to be honest” and as she heard Drake say that she looked to all three of the closest men she has ever had in her life and she said “You three are amazing but this is something that I have to do on my own. She might not talk to me if someone else is with” and as she continued to express her stability in this idea her heat beat faster knowing that the time was coming.
As soon as they all concreted the idea, it was show time but before Jade started to walk away Drake and Liam stood next to her “Just be careful okay?” Liam said as he started to pull her into a hug though as she was hugging Liam she was looking back at Drake “I will be” and as he pulled apart and stroked her cheek she smiled as he turned and left. Looking to Drake as they were now alone she started to take in deep breathes as he pulled her to him hugging her. Not caring at all she wrapped her arms around him in a hug “I am so scared Drake” she whispered to his ear as he was leaning into the hug a little bit more and as he started to run his hand over her back gently and secretively as he could he whispered “You are strong Jade I know that you can do this, you are going to get to the bottom of this and soon you are going to be free, I promise you” and as he brought her even closer to him she could almost feel his heart beating so fast “I wish I could kiss you right now for good luck but I know that we can’t here” she whispered to him again and as she said this its like she could feel the smirk that was on his lips as he turned his head just a little bit and placed a small kiss just below her ear “I wish I could too but you have my luck being sent to you baby” and as she smiled to his words they soon broke apart and he walked to the front to be with Liam, Maxwell and even Bertrand who agreed to help.
“Ladies and Gentleman it is my privilege and honor to announce that the Cordonian Quartet; well 3 of them, would like to grace you all with a reunion song” and as Maxwell continued to get everyone’s attention Jade looked around and soon spotted Regina standing with Adelaide and as she took a deep breath she told herself that this was it and that soon it would be over as she started to take a step towards her freedom. As she got a little bit closer Adelaide noticed her right away and smiled to her “Well hello Lady Jade” and as Jade bowed her head to address them as she should she kindly smiled and asked if she could join their conversation and as they both agreed she took a deep breath and as she looked to Regina she politely asked “Regina may I have a few moments alone with you?” and as she looked to Adelaide who was still just smiling, Regina took another sip of her tea and said “Dear there is not much privacy around here, you can go ahead and talk to me here” and as Jade found herself starting to close down she looked around and saw her guys at the front and knew that she would have to do this now. Taking another deep breath she asked “I just wanted to ask why you dislike me?” and as Regina was taking another sip she stopped instantly and looked to Jade in a shocked expression. “My dear I hardly dislike you. You are a gem no doubt but not the diamond that was needed for Cordonia. If I can be honest with you for a moment I was rather disappointed that Liam was not able to choose you in the end. I believe I was wrong at the way I judged you in the beginning and I feel like you would have been great. I have never seen Liam so happy as he was with you. It’s a shame rather that you are not on his side right now” and as Jade looked to Regina she could feel the pain starting to surge through her. “Why are you asking this to me my dear?” Regina asked as she looked at her expecting a rather quick answer but before Jade could answer Adelaide spoke up and said “You will have to forgive Regina she sometimes forgets her charms at the door” and as Jade looked to Adelaide and was taken by surprise she shyly looked to the floor and as Regina started to take a step to leave Jade got the courage and spoke again “Just one more thing, and please do be honest with me. You would do anything, well would have done anything to keep me from Liam and being Queen?” and as Jade looked to Regina immediately regretting saying anything more she saw Regina look down to the floor and then to Jade “My dear, the word anything is such a strong word. But I am going to be honest with you, even if I wanted to jeopardize your chance at being with Liam and being Queen, I never would have succeeded as Liam would not take an order from me. I wouldn’t have been able to do much to stop it even if I wanted that. Liam is not my biological son so by court law the only one that he would have to follow is his father, he wouldn’t have taken my encouragement, so why would I try if it wasn’t going to prove any results?” and as she looked to Jade, Jade started to look at her in the eyes and she could see that she was telling the truth “Thank you Regina for being honest with me” and as she bowed her head again Regina chuckled and said “Of course dear, I have nothing to gain for lying. Now if you would so kindly excuse me I am going to try and enjoy whatever this is, seeing as how the only thing I requested was a good Religieuse and couldn’t even get that” and as she nodded her head to Jade she then wished her well for the remainder of the day.
As Regina stepped away and the boys stopped their song, Adelaide looked to Jade “You will have to excuse my cousin, she never had her own kids so sometimes she doesn’t know how to be understanding and show that caring side, but what she says is true. She may be crabby and sometimes hard to approach but she is not a liar. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon Lady Jade, I am glad that you are still here with us” and as Adelaide smiled she too started to walk away. Jade stood there thinking about everything that she just heard and started to wonder that if it wasn’t Regina that was against her, that only left possibly one more person; Constantine. Though as she started to look down to the floor a little bit she soon felt a hand on her shoulder and when she brought her head up she was face to face with Liam, and Drake was right in tow with Maxwell “Did you find out anything?” Liam asked as she started to nod “A little bit, she said that she wouldn’t have even thought about jeopardizing my chances because she knew with you that you wouldn’t have listened to her” and as Jade looked to Drake she smiled “You all did amazing out there” and as Maxwell did an air fist bump he said “Yeah Mr. Grumpypants here still has it” he said patting Drake on the back. “I can see that, you all did amazing like I said” and as they talked for a little bit soon Drake spoke up “You know what I think would be good for you tonight” and as Jade looked at him a look flashing over her eyes and she was curious to what he was about to suggest “What is that…a bottle of whiskey around a campfire?” she giggled a little bit as she felt Liam sort of hug her from the side rather secretively to not cause a rise at the party “To be honest, yes…I was thinking what if we all went out camping tonight? Go out towards the cliffs, I mean the leaves are starting to change and it’s rather a beautiful sight this time of year” and as he smiled to her Jade couldn’t help it she stepped away from Liam and brought her hand up to Drake’s forehead which in return caused a chuckle from Liam and Maxwell “What are you doing Morgan?” and as she felt that he was not warm she said “I was checking to see if you felt well…as you just suggested actually doing things with other people” and as she chuckled a little bit as he gently swatted her hand away in a playful manner “She is just teasing you Drake, and I could sneak out tonight if that is what everyone in our little group decides on” and as Liam looked to Jade and so did Drake and Maxwell she let her eyes go wide “Why is it just up to me?” she laughed “Well you are the one that it would be for, to relax after a stressful day” Drake said starting to look at her “Yeah that does sound like a lot of fun. What time did you want to meet up and be ready?” she asked starting to stand closer with the three closest men in her life. Drake smiled to her and said “How about three hours from now we can all get together, stop at the store and then head out” and as Jade smiled she said “I will be ready” and as she hugged all three of them goodbye she then headed to her room to change and get ready.
About three hours later Jade was ready in jeans and a hoodie that hung slightly off her shoulders, exposing her silk like skin and her tank top strap. Her ripped jeans gave the sign of comfort as she started to head out to meet the others to go to the store. As they all piled their overnight bags into the truck that they were going to be using Jade sat in the back with Hana in the middle as Liam and Drake were up front with Drake at the wheel. Jade started to look at her friends and started to think about how perfect this was, her friends and her just embarking on another adventure that was sure to create amazing memories. After about another 45 minutes they finally made it to the side of the cliff, having to stop the truck and unload and walk about a mile up to the very edge they all finally made it and started to unload. Jade immediately dropped her bag and started to look out over the scenery, as Maxwell, Hana and Liam started to do the same. Drake on the other hand immediately started to get the fire going “Drake you have to come see this, it’s absolutely breathtaking” Jade said starting to look back seeing Drake squatting down in front of the fire pit that was there “I will once I make sure that no one is going to freeze to death” and as he looked up to Jade he gave her a playful wink. Though soon as she looked to him she saw him look down again and as she started to question in her mind what was wrong she soon felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and a chin starting to relax on her shoulder “I know something else that is breathtaking” as she heard Liam’s whisper race through her body she now knew why Drake looked away from her so fast “Oh and what is that” she said starting to place her hands on his arm gently “The beautiful woman that I have in my arms” and as she looked back to him and chuckled “Well aren’t you just the charmer right now” and as she felt his lips hit her neck and then her cheek he whispered “Too bad we weren’t alone right now” and as she started to look at him he leaned in sneaking a sweet little kiss. Jade melted into the little tease of a kiss before pulling back a little bit “What if we were?” she asked starting to feel the way that he got to her too. Knowing that she hasn’t been getting a lot of time with him and knowing that as the time goes on this could very well be where they end up “Hmm let’s see, we would be laying in my tent right now with the front part open as I made love to you while the flicker of the fire illuminated the night. Our moans would echo through the trees as a sign of passion and when you came for me I would be able to hold you so close and never let you go as I gave you all of me in return” his whisper sent shivers down her spine as he was holding her still from behind “You know that is not very king like” she giggled as he smiled to her cheek and said “Well, being the king I can do as I please, so needless to say you wouldn’t be leaving my arms all night” and as he leaned in kissing her cheek again he soon started to let her go as Hana and Maxwell finished setting up their tents and started to come over. Not long after that Drake finally joined them as well as Hana brought little finger sandwiches, whiskey and wine “Is there anything that you can’t do” Maxwell asked leaning in and kissing her cheek “I just wanted to have a good night so making sure we had food was definitely a start” she said as her cheeks turned a bright pink.
As they all continued to just relax around the fire Jade couldn’t help her mind from thinking about the two men that were on each side of her. To one side she had loveable Liam, the new king to Cordonia that has been by her side as much as he can be, without him she wouldn’t even be here and be part of this amazing circle of friends. She knew the feelings that she had for him were still so strong and the way that she thought about him was something that was completely new to her. Then on the other side she had Drake, one of the most amazing guys she had ever met, he was loyal and compassionate, he taught her to be good to herself and he was selfless in everything that he did. Knowing how he felt for her and knowing that she felt so much for him too she knew that he could be her happily ever after. As she looked again between the two she soon saw Liam give her a little wink and when she looked back to Drake he gave her that little smirk that she has grown to love. Soon this was going to be the biggest choice that she would ever have to make, was she going to choose the King that swept her off her feet or the best friend that she never knew she needed? As she sat and thought about it for a little bit more she soon heard Hana starting to get up and as she stretched she looked to Maxwell “Well I think that I am going to get some shut eye, you all are more than welcome to stay up” and as she looked to Maxwell he showed a “yawn” and started to get up too “Yeah I think that I am going to hit the hay too, Hana did you get everything set up in your tent good enough” and as Hana blushed she and Maxwell started to walk back towards her tent together as Drake let out a little wolf whistle and the three of them started to laugh a little bit “Don’t wake the neighbors please” Liam said as Maxwell said “No promises” and as they dipped into Hana’s tent Jade just shook her head.
The three of them sat in silence for what seemed to be forever and as Jade looked to them both; they both looked to have something on their minds “Well penny for your thoughts? You both seem to be really lost in thought” and as she looked to Liam and then to Drake they both looked to her almost at the same time. Drake was the first to speak “I am just thinking about how close we are to finally being done with this, so you can finally live your life” and as she smiled to him she then looked to Liam as he took a deep breath “I am just thinking about how I wish that I could do more to help you all out. Being with Madeleine all the time is really draining and I would much rather be helping you clear your name” and as Jade looked to him a little bit more she said “You are helping when you can, please don’t beat yourself up Liam” and then she looked to Drake “Drake is right we are so close to this finally being over that it’s starting to be more exciting then scary. I mean yeah I am still nervous to see how deep this really goes but I am happy and ready for it to be over” and as she looked to them both again she started to see Drake look to her and then look over to his tent “Well I think that I am going to head in…you two don’t be too loud out here alright” and as Drake stood up he looked to Jade “Sleep good Morgan” and as he started to walk towards his tent she felt her heart reaching out for him. Though soon her thoughts were interrupted by Liam as he stood as well and stretched “Well looks like everyone else has the right idea, we should get some shut eye as we will have to leave early in the morning” and as he looked to her he reached down taking her hand and having her stand with him “What would I have to do to have you join me tonight in my tent?” he asked starting to bring her closer to him and as she looked up into his piercing blue eyes she smiled and said “Hmm it might take some convincing” and as she bit her lip a little bit he leaned in capturing her lips with his “Hmm I think that I could convince you pretty well” and as he leaned in kissing her again he brought her body right to his as his hands traveled up and down her back.
Jade slowly started to melt into the kiss that he was giving her. How was it that two guys could make her swoon and feel like she is floating, before she was in a dead end relationship and of course she dated after her and her ex split but no one has ever made her feel the way that these two men have. Though as his kiss became deeper and more filled with passion she soon pulled back “Hmm with that kind of kiss you might have sold me” she said as he started to rest his forehead to hers “Well if you decide to join me, you know where I will be otherwise I will see you in the morning” and as he kissed her again he whispered “Sleep well beautiful” and as he pulled away she started to watch him and soon she was staring ahead as she looked at where the tents were and as she looked to Liam’s and then to Drake’s she knew what she was going to do. She headed back to her tent to change into her pjs and as she slipped back out slowly she started to walk towards one of the tents and as she went to gently tap at it she felt her heart beating faster and faster as she realized that right now, this was the wrong one and as she started to walk down a little bit of ways she passed Hana and Maxwell and started to head to the last tent in the line. Slowly she brought her hand up to the zipper and started to open it. There he was kneeling there getting his blankets and pillows ready and he was shirtless. As she looked in admiring him from behind she could see every little detail of his back and the way that his muscles moved so amazingly smooth with each move that he made “Well I am glad that I didn’t knock” she whispered but just enough to where he heard her and as he turned she saw the shocked look on Drake’s face “What…what are you doing here Morgan?” he stated as he started to get to her as she crawled into the tent as he started to zipper it back up behind her. “I thought that I would come say goodnight” and as she started to crawl in a little bit more she soon got right by him “I mean I can leave if you want me too” and as she started to turn away from him he reached out and playfully grabbed her hips which in return tickled her a little bit as he pulled her back towards him. “You are not leaving at least until I get something” and as she got to her knees to match him, even in this position he towered over her small frame “Oh and what is that” and as she whispered that to him she laughed a little bit as well.
Drake’s eyes looked at her and then to her lips and as he spoke his voice was a husky filled whisper that made her body shiver “Well what I really want” he said as he leaned in kissing her cheek and then her neck to her shoulder that was exposed due to her tank top pajama’s “I can’t have just yet” he stated as he let his hands travel to her waist, his fingers starting to gently trace just the bottom of her tank top and teased her skin there. She let out a shallow breath that she didn’t realize that she was holding as she closed her eyes feeling his fingertips grazing her skin “But to make up for that, I would gladly just take a kiss” and as he whispered that to her ear she could feel the heat that was just radiating off him to her, though even with the heat she shivered with his touch and how close he was to her. “I think that I can accommodate that request” she said as she leaned to him a little bit more and just as her lips were just a whisper away he smiled and said “Hmm I think that you could too, but am I going to let you” and as she opened her eyes he was there just looking at her as she smiled “Well I mean if you don’t want it I can just go” and as she started to turn he wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her right back to him so her back was pressed against his hard chest “No way Morgan” and as she started to look back at him he leaned in capturing her lips with his. The passion that was burning a hole into her mind and body at that moment was enough to push her over the edge with a want that she had never felt before. As she felt his hands starting to roam her sides, her back and then down to her hips and her backside she let out a moan into the kiss that he was giving her. Before she could even realize what was going on she started to feel her body being turned and being laid back onto the floor of the tent as Drake was above her.
“What are you doing to me Morgan?” he asked through intakes of deep shallow breaths as she looked to him “I could ask you the same thing. You have no idea how much I want to go to the next step but I just know we can’t until I make up my mind” and as she said this she found her hands were on his lower waist feeling the taught defined muscles there as she let her fingers start to trail the V that was leading down to the area that was for now forbidden between the two of them. Though as she heard the moan that came from his lips so close to her ear she couldn’t stop the feelings that were taking over her body as she slipped her hand into the front of his pajama pants and then into his boxer briefs “Damn Morgan you are ….you are a damn tease” he said starting to layer kiss upon kiss to the side of her neck. She smiled and bit her lip “Just cause we can’t go all the way, doesn’t mean I am going to stop trying to please you” and as her hand finally cupped his rather turned on member, she started to take a hold onto him and stroking him gently as he gasped pushing his hips to her hand. “You know that doing this is going to just cause me to want you more than I already do” and as he said this and felt her tiny hand working over his long and now very hard member he couldn’t contain the moans that were coming with almost every breath that he took. “Like I said, you have no idea how much I want to do more” and as she said this she then felt his hand starting to slide down her side and slipping into her pajama pants and starting to just tease the outline of her panties. Though as he did this, he could soon tell just how turned on she was as his fingers grazed over the middle of her panties where he could feel the wetness soaking the material “Oh believe me baby I think that I have an idea of just how much you do want it” and as he pressed his fingers to the moist material that was blocking his fingers from touching her she arched her hips to his hand as her hand began to stroke him faster than before.
Jade could feel the way his finger ignited a flame in her belly that shot through her core and as she began to stoke him a little bit more she soon started to open her legs to allow him more access to her “Drake” she moaned out feeling the way that his fingers were on her and started to tease her a little bit more “Yeah baby?” he asked as he looked to her eyes “I want you to touch me…not just over the panties” and as she looked right to those beautiful fall brown eyes she found a questioning look and almost a state of shock as she started to take her other hand and started to push her PJ pants down a little bit and getting them off even with him above her and was now laying there in just her tank top and panties “Are…are you sure?” Drake’s voice was soft but held a desiring tone to it as he looked to her eyes for reassurance. But just as she went to respond they soon heard a loud bang outside the tent causing Jade to stiffen completely and Drake to pull away from her completely. “Damnit!” they heard Maxwell exclaim as he then said “Sorry if I woke anyone was just trying to get a midnight drink” and as they both lay there completely still they soon heard their tent open again and zip shut. After a few moments Drake looked to Jade with an apologizing look “Well that just kind of ruined this moment” and as he cursed under his breath Jade started to get her pajama pants back on but didn’t move from where she was lying. “Yeah I am going to have to beat him up for that one” and as she chuckled a little bit Drake soon found his way back to her turning off the little camp light that he had in his tent as he started to look at her laying in the oversized sleeping bag “Are you sure that you want to stay?” he asked starting to get in with her, and she answered by pulling him down to her kissing him tenderly before starting to have him lay with her.
“I am not leaving to go back to a cold tent Drake” she said laughing a little bit as he then kissed her back as he brought her body right to his. She still fit so perfect in his arms and as he held her he was stroking her shoulder, arm and back, kissing the top of her head tenderly a few times. Jade was tucked right into his hold as she started to run her fingers over his chest drawing little pictures on him with her fingers. “You know this, this feels really good being out here with you” he said as he started to look to her and as she looked up she smirked “What you liked being a little bossy with everyone?” she asked with a small laugh that followed. As Drake caught her eyes “I was just trying to make sure that everyone was being safe and that we would be warm” he chuckled “I hope I didn’t ruin your time out here Morgan” and as he looked to her she leaned up and kissed him again tenderly, “Drake, you could never ruin my time. If anything you make everything on this crazy journey so much better and to be honest I can’t thank you enough again for everything that you have done for me, and how you have been there for me” and as she looked to him again, her hand still tracing on his chest “Jade you will always have me, that is never going to change” and as he smiled to her again they both soon started to show signs of getting tired and before Jade even realized she was asleep in Drake’s arms.
As Drake laid there holding the woman of his dreams he couldn’t help but just watch her sleeping so soundly “Jade I hope you know that you are never going to lose me. Even if it is Liam in the end that gets your heart, you will be the only woman to get mine” and as he leaned in kissing the top of her head again he began to hold her a little bit closer wishing with everything that this night would never end.
