Drake couldn’t believe the words that he was hearing coming from her lips “Morgan,” and as he looked to her and saw the tears falling from her eyes he couldn’t stop himself not even caring as he cupped her cheek with his hand and leaned in pressing his lips to hers sealing those lips of lies with a sweet tender kiss. Jade froze at first but soon gave in and pressed her lips back to his in a gentle kiss. When he pulled away and looked her right in the eyes he said “Don’t you dare listen to any of them, or even Bertrand for that matter, you are so strong and you do belong here, no matter what they say you are one of the few that actually do belong here. Even if it’s not with Liam or not with me, you are part of Cordonia now whether they like it or not” and as she looked to him and saw the sparkle in his eyes she knew that having his support meant everything to her and as she wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him she soon felt his arms around her holding her to him, and for the first time that evening she felt at ease.
After a few moments they broke apart and headed back into the dining area knowing that soon Jade would be going with them to try and find the photographer that was responsible for the photos. Though as the dinner finally started to wind down a little bit Hana and Jade were both scanning the room trying to find the lady from the badge and as they both scanned the room they each ended up looking at their guys that caught their eyes as Jade would look to Drake a few times and even a few times land on Liam and Hana would find Maxwell in the crowd and just smile. Though soon as they were standing with the other ladies, Penelope asked Kiara if she was ready to go and as Jade was standing there she overheard Kiara mention that she wanted to “Stay for a little bit longer” as Jade watched Kiara’s eyes land on Drake. Jade knowing that she didn’t want to know was starting to be more curious by the moment “Looks like you have your eyes set on someone huh?” she asked as she looked to Kiara who immediately started to blush “I…is it that obvious that I like him?” and as she turned to look at Jade she couldn’t stop from smiling and as Jade just gave a little smile Kiara continued “I do like him a lot and would love to get more, what do you say, intimate or personal with him, but he doesn’t seem to be interested at all, but I know I would love to have the chance to be anything that he needs and more” and as she looked down to the ground Jade could feel her heart starting to beat and a little green monster starting to peek its head out a little bit. “Well you never know I mean maybe he is liking you too but doesn’t know how to express it” and as she knew that Drake had no interest in Kiara or so he said she couldn’t help but feel uneasy if she ever found out that he did in return. “Maybe I will talk to him someday, maybe my wedding will be the next one that you will be a part of” and as Kiara smiled big but then turned and walked away, Jade could feel her heart just sink as she started to feel sick knowing that she never thought that she would feel so deeply for someone to actually feel jealous. She soon started to walk away knowing that she had to clear her head of the information that she just had before she was going to try and corner the photographer.
Jade walked and walked though as she was almost to the exit to head out and get some air she was soon grabbed by the arm “Leave me alone I need” and as she was turned around to face whoever it was grabbing her she came face to face with Maxwell “What…what is it Maxwell?” she said and he could immediately tell something was off about her and as he looked to her he said “I know that you probably are not wanting to do this but we found her” and as she looked to him her eyes grew wide and now more so than ever she was ready to push it to the metal to clear her name “Where is she” and as she looked to Maxwell he started to walk her back towards the dining hall a little bit. “Maxwell how are we going to get and keep her attention, as you know we can’t just walk up to her and accuse her” and as she looked to him he stopped her right there in the hall “What photographer could resist a top story” and as he looked to her as she looked to him confused he soon then explained what he was thinking.
Soon Maxwell and Jade were standing towards the middle of the room and as they looked to be talking Maxwell winked to her and said “Make it believable, no matter what” and as he started to smile to her Jade started to take a deep breath in. “Maxwell come on this is ridiculous! How can you sit here and just throw me out when I didn’t do anything?” Jade yelled to Maxwell and soon bystanders started to turn to focus on them “Jade you know what you did why are you saying differently?” he snapped back as she then looked down “Maxwell please don’t make a scene” and as he looked to her “Make a scene! You don’t want me to make a scene? Then you shouldn’t have done what you did! I thought you were a real member of House Beaumont but your actions…they spoke louder than any words could be spoken” and as he looked to her and then saw that the photographer that they were after was looking on he bit his lip as that was the sign that it was time for the finale soon. “How dare you after….after everything” and as she did as she was told she brought her hand back slapping Maxwell across the face “Fine I will just go! I can’t believe you are kicking me out because of something so petty” and as she went to turn Maxwell’s face dropped “Jade wait...please wait” and as he grabbed her arm he stopped her “Jade our friendship…I can’t just kick you out. It just …what you did it hurt, cause you know that is a part of me” and as they both realized that everyone was watching Jade looked down “Maxwell I was only looking out for your well-being when I threw out all your candy corn because you were eating it for breakfast. You can have it anytime you want and I am sorry” and as she looked to him he smiled and pulled her into a hug. The surrounding paparazzi groaned out and started to dissolve back into the party and just as they pulled apart they looked over and the photographer looked up and seeing the two look right at her she immediately started to turn the other way rather quickly.
They took off running after her through the dining hall, through the building and to the streets. Running and jumping over objects to keep up with her it finally ended in a dead end alley. Though as Maxwell and Jade cornered her she laughed “You know I was hoping to avoid this, but I guess my time was coming huh” and as she looked to them Jade looked right to her “First stop talking, second who the hell are you?” she asked as she looked to look at the woman that was standing holding her ground “My name is Rosanna from FreeLance Photography and please do just get this over with I have other things to do” and as she started to scoot by Jade, Jade stopped her pushing her back towards the wall a little bit “Who hired you to take the photos of me?” Jade asked feeling the heat rising in her body and the nerves that she had about that night still. “To be honest I don’t know. We never met in person nor talked on the phone. It was always bank transfers nothing ever in person” and as she looked to them Maxwell asked if she ever kept the digital copy of the transfer and as Rosanna answered that she did and soon enough she was emailing them to the email that he provided “Now if you would be so kind to let me go now, I promise I will stay out of your hair and we can just put this behind us” and as they agreed they went their separate ways. Maxwell and Jade embraced in a hug as she walked away from them and soon they headed to Bertrand and Maxwell showed him the receipt that did come through. Bertrand explained that he would do some more digging and that Jade should get some rest.
Upon leaving the dining hall and heading back to the train Maxwell stopped Jade before she could get to her room with a message from Liam stating that he was going to be at the shore line if she would like to join him even for just a little bit. Jade knew that she should get some sleep and after the day that they had she knew that she was getting tired but she also knew that this may be the last chance before long that she would get with him. “I think that you should go see him, even if it’s just for a little bit. Every little bit counts right now Jade” and as Maxwell smiled to her leaving her to decide she looked to her room and then to the direction of the shore and as she took a deep breath she turned on her heel and started to head to the shore. As soon as she got close enough she could see Liam standing there, looking out to the waters and in front of him was a single row boat that was just bobbing in the shallow water. “You know if you wanted to just look at water you could have just gotten into a shower instead of standing out here all alone” and as she smiled to him when he turned to her smiling that million dollar smile he ran right too her lifting her up off the sand and spinning her “Jade” he said holding her to him as he was almost afraid to let go “I haven’t been able to really talk to you. Is everything okay? I heard the staged fight, were you able to find something after that?” he asked starting to pull away and looking her in the eyes.
Jade smiled to him “There was a lot that we found but you sent for me is something wrong” and as she looked to him and he leaned in kissing her just tenderly stealing a gentle kiss he then rested his forehead to hers “Well to be honest I just missed you but there is something that I would really like to talk to you about, but not here” and as he started to pull away from her, he then started to walk her to the row boat that was sitting there “What is going on Liam, talk to me about what?” and as she started to worry he looked back to her as he reached for her hand taking it gently “Our future, but like I said not here…I want to take you to the Blue Grotto that I know about, we would be alone and its absolutely breathtaking at night” and as she looked to him still feeling a little concerned she allowed him to escort her into the row boat and helping her get situated. Though as she sat there she started to worry about if she should be letting him take her out like this knowing that she didn’t want to risk him being seen and get him in trouble or anything but as he didn’t seem to care as he started to board the row boat and sitting right across from her she just let it go. If he wasn’t worried, she wasn’t going to be, he knew what he was doing and if this was him choosing to spend time with her then so be it.
The whole time out there it was a peaceful trip, a little side talking here and there but more-so he just let her relax in the boat though about half way through she offered to help row and when she did great at it he complimented her and was impressed with how well she did. Though after about another few moments they finally arrived to a cave opening and as Liam stopped moving the oars to move, soon the opening cleared and appeared this beautiful, clear, peaceful grotto. “Oh my god this…this is so beautiful” Jade said as she started to look around at this amazing wonder. Soon Jade’s focus went from the crystal blue waters to the man that was standing in front of her starting to remove his jacket “Care to go for a swim with me my Jade?” he asked starting to help her stand and balance in the row boat. Her cheeks flushed with a pink as he started to slowly help her undress as her hands traveled and did the same though their eyes never broke each other’s eyes. Soon they both stood there in their underwear and as Jade took the opportunity she placed her hands up to Liam’s chest, leaning up and pressing a soft stolen kiss to his lips and as he smiled when they parted, all she said was “Sorry” and as he looked to her confused, she gave him a shove as he then toppled over the side of the row boat and splashing into the crystal waters below.
As Liam came to the surface whipping his face from the water “You know I would hate to have to tell you this but you are going to regret that I am afraid” and as she giggled to him she soon felt the boat starting to shake under her feet and as she started to lose balance it was given one more push and that is all it took to knock Jade off and into the water. Hitting the cold water the way that she did caused her to gasp as she reached the top of the water. Looking to him she laughed “Oh and you think that I am not going to retaliate?” she laughed staring to bring a hand back and splashing him playfully. “Oh that is it, it is on now Jade” and as he started to do the same back to her a moment later Liam dove under the water and at first she thought he was just being playful but after him being under and out of sight for a few moments she started to worry that something was wrong “Liam!” she kind of yelled out as she treaded water looking around for him. Soon though as she looked around the other side she soon felt a pair of arms around her waist holding her and she gasped out “You scared me” she said starting to lean back against him as he was able to tread the water and hold her as well. “I didn’t mean to scare you but there was something that I wanted to show you” and as he brought his hand up and opened it inside there was a perfect pearl just sitting in the palm of his hand. Jade looked at it and smiled “That is gorgeous Liam, how did you find it so fast” she asked starting to turn around and looking at him treading right by him.
Liam smiled and started to explain “The last time that I was here was around last year with my brother. He brought me out here to go diving and while I was down there I found the oyster, we opened it together and when he saw the pearl inside he looked to me and said that this would win over the heart of any woman that I chose. During the time that I had it, I never found someone that I wanted to give it to, so I hid it back here again. I knew that if it was meant to be I would find it again and now that I have someone that I wanted to give it to, I knew exactly where it should have been. Luckily enough it was still there and so I am wondering if you would like to keep this, even as just a symbol of what I do feel for you. Through everything it would show that my feelings for you have never faded” and as he started to hold it out to her she started to feel her heart beating so fast in her chest as she looked to him and then to the perfect jewel that he was holding. “Liam as much as I would love to keep this, I think that you should hold onto it just until my name is cleared because then I can shout it to the world that you gave it to me” and as she smiled to him she said “Keep it safe for me for right now” and as she smiled to him she soon started to see that smiled starting to spread over his lips again and as he brought her to his arms holding her she sunk into his embrace as she realized then just how lucky she was that he was so understanding. “I will hold unto it until you tell me not to babe” and as he leaned in kissing her cheek and then her neck he felt her shiver a little bit under his touch. “Are you cold” and as he asked her she shook her head “Just a little chilled, believe me I can handle it, I lived through New York in the winter, and have visited Minnesota before during the winter and that is one cold state” and as she giggled a little bit in his arms she smiled to him feeling so relaxed there with him.
Although Liam did believe her that she would be fine he started to lead her more to the back of the cove where there seemed to be a cluster of flat rocks that they could sit on. Once there he brought her immediately into his arms and into his lap holding her and running his hands up and down her back to kind of keep her warm no matter what it is that she said about everything he wanted to make sure that she was alright. Though as they sat there in silence for a little bit, Jade couldn’t help her mind from wondering thinking about Drake and what he was up too, though feeling Liam’s hands working on her back a little bit she looked to him “You said that there was something that you wanted to talk to me about” and as she looked him right in the eyes he took a deep breath as he stated “Better now than never” and as he looked to her and then down to the water he started to explain.
“Look Jade, these last few weeks have literally been hell and I know you living like this has not been fair to you. I don’t know how much longer I can keep up this charade and keep this happy mask on. I know that I have to push through but I just really don’t know how much longer I can do this” he said starting to look at her as they sat there. “I have never in my life felt so powerless, especially when all I find myself wanting to do is help, and I can’t” and as he looked to her and she saw the sadness in his eyes she brought her hand up and stroked his cheek “Liam it’s okay. I know that there is only a little bit that you can…” and as she went to continue he cut her off “No this is not okay, the life that you are being forced to live it’s not right. But, there is something that I can do to change it all and to finally put a stop to everything” and as he looked at her and then down to his lap he then lifted his head she said “Liam, no don’t you dare even be thinking what I think it is that you are thinking…you can’t do that, not for me” and as he looked to her she felt her lip trembling a little bit. “Jade I could abdicate and all this, it would be over. When my brother stepped down I knew that I would have to marry for Cordonia, but then something amazing happened, I met you. I thought that I could marry for both Cordonia and for love. I don’t want a loveless marriage and I know with Madeleine that is what it is and what it is going to be. I can’t be a real husband or possible father someday with a woman like her, she is great for the crown but I will never love her” and as he started to look to her a little bit he leaned in kissing her cheek and then continued.
“Jade I think about our lives constantly, away from court and away from it all and let me tell you it…it looks and feels amazing” and as he caught her eyes she started to take in a deep breath “What, what does it look like?” and as she looked back to him seeing those baby blues looking back at her he smiled and said “We leave here, never having to worry about the court again, we start a life living together and then soon with just Hana, Maxwell and of course my best friend Drake, we would elope” and as he continued talking she couldn’t help her thoughts starting to drift to Drake as she started to feel sick knowing that she feels almost the same thing about him, knowing that she has thought about just running away with Drake. Though as she focused back on Liam her stomach started to hurt a little bit as she started to close her eyes to stop her mind from spinning. “I could easily do it tonight. This could all be over and we could go on to start our life. Getting married in a field with just a few people in attendance and of course our friends would be there; Hana in charge of music, Drake in charge of drinks and Maxwell he would be the free entertainment. By the end of this month the whole world could know just how much we wanted to be with each other” and as she looked to him seeing in her mind that something like that could be something she wanted, she started to reach over taking his hand and holding it “What…what about after that” and as she looked to him and he leaned in capturing her lips with his tenderly and then rested his forehead to hers “Then we would start our lives together. I would get a job and you could do whatever it is that you would want to do” and as he smiled to her, Jade couldn’t help but smile a little bit “What are you thinking?” he asked started to look to her and as she found his eyes again she said “I could see you becoming a history or political science teacher, who better than a king” and as she smiled to him he brought her closer to his body as he nodded in agreement “I could do that” and as he smiled to her leaning in and kissing her shoulder a little bit she felt so good right there with him though inside she was feeling guilty as she knew she still had deep feelings for Drake.
Though after another few moments planning out what could be Jade shook her head “As nice as the thought is and the dream could be you wouldn’t be happy if you stepped down, would you? It’s in your heart to help people and I really can’t see you satisfied with stepping away when you could be making a difference” and as he looked to her she knew that she was telling the truth and as he took in a deep breath he said “What if things never get better Jade? If I end up marrying Madeleine could you live like this, stealing moments like this together?” he said starting to cuddle to her from behind a little bit more kissing her shoulder as if he was scared to let her go. As she sat there thinking for a little bit she knew in her heart that she couldn’t live like this though knowing that if it meant choosing him and sticking to just him and being with him like this was the only way in the end she knew that she could do it but it would just be super hard. Though as she looked to him she took in a deep breath “I am being honest with you, I don’t know if I could or couldn’t. Right now I know that this is what we get, and I am going to take what time I can with you. But if it comes down to it that you and her get married before my name clears,” she paused for a moment and looked down but then raised her head back to look at him with tears in her eyes “before my name clears, I don’t think that I could just be a side chick, even if she says that I can have you in every way besides at your side in public” and as she looked to him and let the tears fall he leaned in kissing them away. “Jade you deserve so much more than that, you deserve a kind of love that will leap every building to get to you, that would protect you from all harm, and I…I do care about you so deeply and I know that I want to be with you, but if you feel like you can’t wait or you decide that you don’t want to be with me, as hard as that would be to hear, I would want you to be honest with me and straight forward of what it is you want. I will still care deeply about you and love everything about you, and of course would still want you here but I would never ever hold something like that against you. I’d stand beside you and help you in any way that I could and right now we need to focus on your name and keeping you safe” and as he brought his arms around her a little bit more she started to turn in his arms hugging him tightly.
After a few moments of holding her in his arms he started to let go of her a little bit he then looked to her and again reassured her that his only concern was to keep her safe and as she looked at him she questioned “Your only concern?” and as she gave him a wink he smiled to her starting to hold her more on his lap and started to lean in kissing the side of her neck “Well….maybe not my only concern” as he started to turn her in his lap so she was straddling his waist, her hands immediately went to his shoulders to stabilize herself. Though as she started to scoot on him a little bit more to be situated over him she could feel just how happy he was to have her completely in his arms and that close to him. His hands traveled up and down her sides stroking her silk like skin as she smiled to him leaning in and capturing his lips with hers in a rather heated kiss. Liam couldn’t help it as he wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her body flush against his and as he did this it caused her lower body to grind against his and he let out a moan against her lips that were still pressed to his. She could feel the fire that was starting to push through her and as she started to feel the way that her mind was starting to race with him she knew that she should stop while she could but the way that his lips were feeling on hers and the way that he was holding her, she succumbed to his touch.
Soon though as things just started to get even more steamy, as he was kissing over her chest and her heart, a light beeping coming from the boat and as he groaned against her skin as he held her he mentioned that it was Bastien and that he had to get back. Though as Jade looked to him she could see in his eyes that he didn’t want to and as she leaned in kissing him one more time she then said “Maybe at our next stop you can come to my room and we can pick this up” and as she knew that she was turned on by him she immediately felt a shiver hit her skin as she knew that she was in trouble to be feeling this way for both men-physically, mentally and emotionally. Liam agreed that he would do what he could in order to get some time with her and soon they were back on the boat getting dried off the best that they could and getting dressed again. Back on the shore where they first met, Liam helped her out of the boat and kissed her goodnight one more time as he then headed back towards his area and she started to head back to the train though as she walked she was thinking about everything that happened that night and hearing the things that he said tonight got into her heart so badly. Though as she started to head down through the train and got to her door she slowly looked down to the ground thinking about how everything seemed perfect that night and how the things that he said made her rethink almost everything she took a deep breath and started to head in though as she went to shut the door to her room, a firm hand stopped her door from shutting and as she gasped a little bit being thrown off guard she soon saw who it was as they opened her door “Drake what…what are you doing here?” and as she looked to him she could see that there was something on his mind and as she looked to him again he smiled “Well I was going to get some real food and thought that maybe I should extend the invite to you” and as he smiled to her starting to see that she looked a little tired he felt for sure that she was going to say no but as he looked to her, he saw her smile spread across her face “I mean it may not be fancy food but I can tell you it will probably taste really good” and as she smiled a little bit more to him she said “Of course I will join you” and as she started to step to him again he reached down taking her hand and starting to lead her out of the train and heading down the street a little bit and as they walked Drake couldn’t stop smiling.
As they walked together Jade could feel just how amazing her hand felt in his and knowing that just moments ago it was Liam that she was with she felt the guilt hitting her rather hard but knowing that she loved spending time with Drake and knew that her heart responded so much to him. Though as they walked he was rather quiet so she broke the silence asking him “So does this mean this dinner could lead to me learning even more about you?” and as she giggled a little bit he looked to her, his autumn toned eyes searching hers “We can see about that when we get there” and as he leaned in kissing the side of her head she could feel the heat rising up on her cheeks. They continued down the path and the moment that they reached the tiny off the radar restaurant Drake held the door open for her as they headed to a booth. Once they were situated and smiling, talking a little bit a middle aged man walked over offering them the menu and as he stood there he smiled as he asked “Would you and your wife like a bottle of our homemade wine?” and as Jade heard the words that came from his mouth she looked right to Drake to see how he would respond and as she caught his eyes he said “We…um” and as she smiled seeing the way that he was looking at her and the way that he didn’t shut that idea down right away she took over and said “Yes we would love that please, but can you also bring him a whiskey as well?” she said smiling to him as he was smiling back to her as well. “Make that two please I would like to have one with my husband before dinner” and as she smiled to him he gave her a wink though deep inside Jade could feel the warmth soar through her as she played this little role…as it felt so right.
As they sat there for a few moments in silence Jade looked around taking in the ambiance of the place, so homey and so laid back, it reminded her of the Tavern and as she looked to Drake she smiled remembering that night that he first walked in and he saved her from embarrassment. “So this is more your style huh” she asked starting to look right to his eyes as he smiled and said “Yeah I kind of like the low key, hole in the wall places. I think that they are sometimes the best places of all” and as he started to lean to her a little bit soon the waiter came back with the whiskey shots and the wine and as he looked to them both speaking in Italian Drake looked to him and said “Err umm Spaghetti and Pizza” and as the man smiled and thanked them both then in English Drake shook his head “Great save there, hubby” and as she laughed a little bit taking a sip of her drink she started to look around but then looked down to the table “So is this something that you do often just kind of sneak away and eat” and as he was taking a sip of his whiskey he smiled “Well when your best friend is the Prince, you kind of learn how to go out on your own in different cities, the stag thing kind of grows on you” and as he set his drink down his eyes met hers “Well now you have my company. Any time that you want to sneak out and go somewhere you can always ask me” she said as she started to smile to him that smile that only he brought out in her. “That just means that I have to try harder to not make a fool out of myself” and as he laughed she reached over without even thinking and took his hand “Drake…you are never a fool in my eyes, I don’t want you thinking that you are ever a fool” and as her hand was on his he closed his hand around hers holding it “Morgan, I always feel like a fool around you. All I want to be is perfect for you but I know that…” and before he could finish the waiter brought out the breadsticks for the table interrupting that moment. “Your food will be up in just a few moments, can I interest you in any more whiskey?” he asked and that is when Drake looked down and realized that Jade’s glass was already completely empty “Thirsty?” he asked and she blushed “I will take one more thank you” and as the waiter left Jade looked back to him “You were saying?” she asked as she felt her heart starting to race a little bit “What do you mean?” he asked starting to look at her and she let out a little sigh “You were telling me something about how you feel like a fool around me, which you are not but you stopped there” and as she looked to him and saw him take in a deep breath but as he went to speak the food was brought out. “We will talk about this later… bon apatite Morgan” he said starting to let go of her hand and starting to dig into the pizza that he ordered.
Jade sat back for a moment and looked at him, her mind racing knowing that there was something else on her mind and she knew that there was something else on his mind as well but knowing now that they would have to wait. As the time went on the conversation was very vague and little bits here and there as they were both filling themselves up on the amazing food that they were eating “This…this food is incredible Drake” she boasted as she took another bit of the spaghetti that was just perfect amount of spices and the perfect portioned meatballs. “I am glad that you like it Morgan” and as she looked up to him she saw that there was a little bit of sauce on the corner of his lips “Come here” and as she signaled him to lean to her he followed her lead as she leaned in and kissed the corner of his lips getting the sauce as she kissed there. Drake felt her lips and immediately gasped wanting to turn his head so badly but knew in public, it wasn’t a good idea. Once Jade sat back down Drake was blushing as he thanked her “So is this like a secret date?” she asked as Drake heard her and almost choked on the food that he was eating “Huh” he uttered out as he started to cough a little bit. “Well I mean when you think about it, we are here together, Italian place, great meal, drinks and candles around us” and as she smiled a little bit more to him she could see the blush starting to tint his cheeks “Well I mean its…I just…” and as he ran his hand over the back of his neck he said “I… I just thought maybe you were a little hungry” and though she could tell that there was more to his eyes than what he was letting on she let it go with that “Well I am okay with it being a date, but it is a little late…and not in New York” and as they looked to each other Jade immediately thought about how it was that night in New York and though they didn’t get a long time together those hours they did have left a huge mark on her knowing that they connected in a way she never had before with anyone.
Over the next few moments as they sat in silence Drake looked to her and said “You’re killing me Morgan you know that?” and as she looked at him raising an eyebrow “I have no idea what you are talking about” and as she smiled to him he smiled back to her “Come here” and as he said that he leaned over the table a little bit and she took the hint leaning over to meet him in the middle and as they inched closer Jade could feel her heart starting to race a little bit thinking that soon she was going to feel his soft lips against hers but when she didn’t she heard him say “Let’s get out of here” and as she looked to him she nodded her head “I was thinking the same thing” and as they both started to pull back Drake pulled out a $50 and left it on the table signaling to the waiter that the bill was covered and then some and though Jade tried to fight him on paying he just grabbed her hand and started to walk her out of the restaurant. As they started walking the long way back to the train Jade let her hand stay in his not really caring at all, though she knew the way that they were walking they were out of prying eyes. Though as they walked a little bit more she soon realized that there was no security “No Bastien” and as she looked to him he chuckled “Well for one, I am not Liam I don’t need Bash, and two Bash knows that I can take care of myself and you” and as they continued to walk Drake opened up about how him and Bash were close especially after his dad died. He talked about how it was Bash that got him to come back when he was studying away, to come back home to be there for Liam. Though as Jade listened she started to realize just how much Drake had given up to be here for his best friend “Do you ever think about going back to the states and finishing your schooling” Jade asked as they started to head down the ways a little bit heading to a little shoreline. “Sometimes I do but then I realize that I need to be here for him…someone has to keep him grounded” and as he smiled to her he started to lead her to a little bit more of a secluded area of the shoreline. Jade felt that moment that she sat on the sand there on the shore about being back home with him, and again for the bachelor party. Reaching down she slipped her shoes off and then dipped her toes into the sand sighing a content sigh feeling the cool sand beads just cover her silk skin.
“When you came back you said it was for Liam, what was going on that you needed to come back so badly?” she asked starting to scoot a little bit more to him and as he looked to her he explained “After his mom was assassinated, he slipped into a deep depression, he wasn’t eating, wasn’t sleeping, would barely come out of his room. Bash told me that it was so bad that he tried taking off a handful of times as he thought that it should have been him. I knew right then and there that my best friend needed me and so I came back” and as she looked to him she could hear the compassion in his voice and the genuine tone that he was giving “Drake you …you are amazing. Not a lot of people would do that for someone even a best friend” and as she looked to him she leaned in kissing his cheek tenderly. Drake looked to her “Well I don’t know if I deserved that but I mean I couldn’t let him just be fed to the sharks…even if one of them is smart, funny, loyal, and beautiful” and as he looked to her catching her jade eyes he smirked to her a little bit. Jade couldn’t take it looking into his eyes, hearing the way that he was there for Liam and just everything that is compiling in her mind about him she leaned in gently and as she got closer she heard him whisper “Morgan” and in that whisper was a deep yearning, a desire, and a want that was echoing to her ears. She leaned up to him and pressed her lips to his in a tender kiss which was sweet and passionate but was filled with a fuel to the fire that was burning in them both. Knowing that he could never get enough of her, he wrapped his arm around her and brought one hand up to her cheek, stroking it before sliding to the back of her neck to deepen the kiss, which left his heart racing and his body aching for more. Though after a few breathless moments they pulled apart and rested their foreheads together.
“I hope you know that you telling me all of this doesn’t make it any easier, and only makes me fall more for you” and as she looked to him capturing his deep eyes she said “I can tell you one thing that if Kiara keeps eyeing you like a piece of meat, I am going to have to put her in her place” she chuckled a little bit thinking about how she has never been this way with anyone. “Jealous are you Morgan? I mean what was I thinking?” and as he laughed a little bit he leaned in kissing her again sweetly he then said “You don’t have to worry about her like I have said before, she is not you, she will never be you” and as he smiled to her he stroked her cheek just a little bit. Jade smiled to him knowing that there was so much that she wanted to tell him and so much that she wanted to express to him but knew that she couldn’t not just yet, but as she sat there with him in this peaceful surrender that is exactly what she wanted to do was just surrender to him. As she tilted her head a little bit more to him and caught his eyes again she could feel her heart starting to race and she knew that in this moment she knew that with him like this with her she could stay like this with him until the end of time. “What are you doing to me Jade?” and as she looked to his eyes again she looked at him questioningly as he said “You have made me drop so many walls and be someone that I never thought I would ever be, someone that I was thinking I could just hide away but here you are and here you are breaking me down day by day” and as he looked to her she leaned up pressing her lips to his just gently she then looked to him and said “You have been doing the same to me. I know sometimes I can be well annoying but you have brought me out so much more than I ever thought that I could” and as she looked right into his eyes she saw the happiness in his eyes as he leaned in and kissed her again tenderly. His lips perfectly massaged hers as she leaned up more to him and soon she was in his lap facing him in the sandy shore.
Drake wrapped his arms around her waist starting to hold her closer to him and the way that their bodies meshed together was instantly perfect. Her hands trailed over his chest and then up to his shoulders and finally resting behind his neck as she leaned to him kissing him back and matching the passion that he was giving. Drake started to pull her closer to him to where she was lined up perfectly with him and she could tell he was feeling rather good through the material and as she moaned a little bit against his lips he pulled back just a little bit “God Morgan you make me want you so bad. I could easily take you right here, right now” and as she looked at him and could see the hunger in his eyes she knew that he was telling the truth and she knows that she feels the same way as well. As she eyed him and then eyed the water she started to get up from his lap “Come with me” and as he looked at her like she was crazy he started to get up from the sand and started to walk a little bit closer to the water. But just as he got to her he then realized that she was slipping out of her outfit and his eyes grew in shock “What…what are you doing” and as he looked at her now standing there in her matching bra and panties she took a few steps to him and started to without saying a word reach out to his blue over shirt and started to unbutton it and then removing his under shirt. Her hands worked like magic over him as she then ran a hand up and around his neck bringing him down to kiss her again and the kiss grew as her hand then traveled down to his jeans starting to pull at the belt buckle. Once that was open and ready she slid her hands into his jeans and as her hands felt the cotton material of his boxer briefs and then the skin of his thighs and down to his knees she was soon in front of him starting to help him get his pants off. Drake let out a gasp when he felt her lips give his thigh a kiss over the material of his boxer briefs. “What…what are you doing” and as he looked down to her she smirked to him and teasingly placed a kiss over the growing bulge that has been made more obvious.
Jade smiled up to him not answering him but soon standing and taking both his hands and starting to lead him to the water. Soon enough they were both in the water splashing each other, swimming around and just being together. Though during a little match of Marco Polo Drake did catch her with his arms around her waist bringing her to him and with one little tug she was now pressed right against him facing him again and in one swift moment and with no care in the world from him he reached to the back of her thighs and brought her off the floor of the waters wrapping her legs instantly around his waist holding her close with how light weight she was “I want you to know something and I want you to believe it…I am never leaving your side. I don’t care how this ends, you are never going to lose me Morgan” and as she looked to him she smiled and leaned in kissing his lips tenderly right there in the waters. Her lips caressing his as she started to feel the way that her mind was racing and the way that he talked to her was everything she needed to hear. Though after a few more moments they walked back to the shore and laid there until they were dry. Drake then walked her back to her room on the train and after one last kiss left her to sleep and for the first time in a long time she actually slept through the night with the feel of Drake’s arm wrapped around her etched in her memory.
