"A curse was put on you." She got closer, gripping my forearms tightly forcing me to stand in place. She inched closer until I could see her irises narrow and the color of her eyes growing a few shades darker. "-I swear to you, son, I'll find whoever dared lay their filthy hands on you. I'll find them and I'll kill them in a way that even hell would look like child's play but until I do- I am going to need you to stay strong. Do you understand?"
My head grew heavier. The sickening feeling is returning to the pit of my stomach.
"Do you understand, my boy?" She cupped my cheeks gently with shaking hands. A sniffle escaped her mouth. "-Please don't leave me too."
Then the world crumbled underneath my feet and all fell to darkness.

CHAPTER 5;
A REPEATING CYCLE
Gasping for air, I jumped from my horizontal position. I was laying on the solid cold ground, muffled voices were heard in the distance- it seemed as if they were getting closer.
Sitting up, My vision sharpened as I noticed the growing pain in my head. Gripping my forehead as a groan of pain left my mouth I quickly stood on my wobbly legs.
"-Fell through here." How could they have gotten this close in a few seconds? How could I have missed the sounds of their footsteps or their loud voice that grew closer?
I was surrounded by high trees, they were so high that I couldn't see their pointy tips of green. I didn't have time to look around unless I wanted to get caught so I made the decision to keep moving forward- not knowing what... or who I'll meet ahead.
Making the first step on my right foot hurt but I didn't have the time to drown in pain so I faced the forest ahead of me- its darkness called me.
My instincts told to me to avoid it at all costs but something else in me said that I had to keep moving forward so I did.
Entering the first lair of trees I noticed that it had gotten severely cold, and piles of snow started to form on the ground. The trees also lost their color and are now painted in a frozen blue.
Looking over my shoulder, I couldn't see the way I came from.
Noticing that I couldn't hear the voices anymore or anyone else approaching, my heart and the pulse of adrenaline slowly subsided. I took a few slow calm breaths as I now had time to look around though it was completely pointless.
Everywhere I looked, the trees were the only things around. Not even a chirp of a bird and rustling of bushes- it was very quiet, so quiet in fact that I could hear screaming somewhere ahead of my path.
I wasn't in a specific hurry to save someone as I was in quite of a bind myself. I didn't know where I was, I didn't know where this was.
Now panic had enough time to settle in my heart. Moments ago, I was with my mother- feeling ill.
'You were cursed' her voice echoed in my head as a reminder. Gasping for air- the struggle to take full deep intakes of breaths was painful. My throat was tightening the longer I kept thinking about the information I received before appearing here.
The screams were getting louder and that was all it took for me to sprint forward. 123Please respect copyright.PENANAOgADy89sAT
At least, I'd die a hero saving someone's life.
It slightly scares me that someone else's life is more important than my own in such a dangerous situation.
Pushing back my fear and panic, I maneuvered through the thick blocks of trees like a panther on a wild hunt. I never thought that I could move like that in times of panic.
The things that adrenaline can do to a human.
Finally, after running for a few minutes without an opportunity to stop and rest, I heard the screams once more and this time it was right in front of me but I couldn't see anything.
I kept moving forward until I came onto a clearing. The trees disappeared and only snow was left around.
The forest completely cleared from this point on and instead, the leftovers of a village were scattered about and a few miles to the back on top of the hill set a very large dark eery castle that overlooked the entire area.
Focusing back to the disgusting scene in front of me, one that almost made my knees weak and almost emptied the contents of my stomach yet again- People were killing each other. Brutally.
Some were punching each other, some were using knives- even forks. Some had weapons more advanced like swords and guns. They were killing each other as each one of them was wearing the expression of utmost rage.
And the scary part was that even those who have already died- stood back on their feet as if they have been dying and returning for eternity- as if they were never killed in the first place.
Right in front of me, "HOW DARE YOU KNOCK ON MY FUCKING DOOR, IMBECIL?!" A man swung a sword at his opponent, swiftly severing his head from his shoulders. Not a moment later, the man stood back on his feet with his head in his arms before slapping it back on his neck.
The straight cut that once was the cause of his man's death- is now completely gone. While the man with the sword was struck with shock, his opponent took a clean shot to his forehead with a gun that he grabbed from the back of his pants.
"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR CUSSING AT ME, FUCK HEAD!" But the dead man didn't stay dead for long as he rose on his feet again- the pullet in his palm.
The man with the gun stood shocked as the one with the sword swung the weapon at his torso, killing the same man once more.
The cycle was repeating itself- they killed each other, then acted shocked as their enemy returned to life- as if they forgot that just a moment ago the same thing happened- and then they were the ones to die and come back.
What the hell is this place?
"And what do we have here?" A deep voice whispered in my ear.
Twirling around in fear I was met with the tallest and most intimidating man that my eyes had ever had the pleasure of laying upon.
Olive smooth skin showered his body- black short hair slicked back, sharp red eyes that clearly expressed displeasure, a small sharp nose with pointy dark eyebrows- red lips were definitely a plus and the sharp cheekbones and jawline with a nine-o'clock shadow set the entire look.
He wore a black tidy suit, one that complimented every inch of his muscles along his toned body. It set just right as if it was made especially for him.
His lips were tilted to a scowl, narrowed eyes ran over my body in a clear and open display of judgment, anger, and curiosity.
His frame of 6'7 approached my 5'9 in a slow and intimidating manner.
"I do not like repeating myself, human. Who are you and what in the burning hell are you doing here?" The longer I took to answer, the angrier his expression got.
I gulped as I took the same amount of steps back as he took forward.
Help.
