January 1708
Joseph stumbled out of the portal with the small bundle of life held tightly in his arms. Looking around for a few seconds he noted the trees around him, the falling snow, and the dirt path in front of him. He glanced back quickly as the portal began to destabilize. His heart thumped as he witnessed for a fraction of a second the Holy Aura battling her sister Talindra. His heart sank when the image in front of him vanished. "Be safe my dear Ivalon.." He whispered as tears fell down his face. His attention was brought back to his more pressing problem of finding shelter and warmth by Alenia's shrill cry of fear. "Shh now Alenia, It will be alright. Your mother is safe,''he said as he held her tightly to his chest.
Glancing around he didn't recognize anything. "Earth.. Where I'm from, Everyone I know is gone. 300 years past by quite quickly." He said. "I must protect Alenia, protect the prophesied savior of Idor." He said as his heart thumped with fear. He wasn't ready to take on being a parent alone in a foreign land. One that he once known so well. The road ahead was long and unfamiliar. But somehow he would manage. He had to for Alenia's sake. Holding the frail bundle of life within his arms he began to walk down the path ahead of him. He stumbled through the cold snow holding Alenia close to his body heat while his finger tips froze. Her cries of fright, and hunger attracting many things within the forest...
Joseph wheeled around to find a wolf stalking him. The wolf growled baring its teeth as its back fur stood on end. "Now now.. Its okay.." He said trying to calm it down, as he slowly backed away. A shrill cry came from Alenia catching the wolves attention. Losing interest in Joseph it cocked its head and perked its ears, trying to discern where the noise was coming from..All signs of aggression disappearing as it approached to investigate the noisy bundle. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAwDXVZnfvXq
Joseph glanced down as he took Alenia from the cloth that she was wrapped in. The wolf sniffed the small child laying down next to Alenia. "I don't believe it.." He whispered as he watched the wolf drag the cloth to its belly to warm her.

Suddenly a White haired male that seemed to be frail but sturdy. He was carrying an axe over his shoulder; his weary eyes showed stress. His eyes were littered with bags. Once strong but now showing signs of aging, He called out. "KALI!!" the man shouted, but stumbled to a stop when he saw Joseph standing there. "You there!" He yelled, recovering from his surprise at finding another person out in the frozen forest. He sprinted up then gaped in shock when he noticed the small babe tucked within his wolf's fur. "That's what she ran off to find.." He said as he chuckled to himself. The old logger bent down as he knelt on one knee. "Is this what you ran off to find Kali girl?" He asked in a bit of hushed whisper, as he ruffled her fur affectionately. His gaze went up towards Joseph and he extended his large hairy hand.. "The name's Samuel Jones," He said watching Joseph's hesitant expression. Joseph nodded as he took Samuel's hand and shook it in a hearty greeting. "Come, a young man such as yourself could be much help. Your child will be welcome in my abode. My lodging is just west of here. Will you join me for the night?" He asked him.
Joseph nodded as he picked up Alenia within his arms. She cooed happily as he wrapped her back up, and began to follow the old man towards his lodging. As they tramped through the heavy snow Samuel struck a conversation to ease the silence, and curious to know more about this strange pair. "What ya two doing in this deep in thee woods fer?" He asked. Joseph was hesitant to respond for several minutes, unsure how much to tell the old man. Finally he piped up after the silence with only a few choice words. "We are running, and in hiding." He responded. Samuel glanced back with a perplexed expression as he stroked his beard. Seemingly deep in thought before his next question rolled of the tip of his tongue. "What do ye run from?" He asked him. Joseph was silent once again unsure how to respond. How could he describe the events on Idor that led to his return to Earth? Trying to put it within words he decided the truth was probably best and simply said " My wife's sister committed a grave sin. She has caused the heavens to fall on my kingdom and now I must run from my kingdom for safety of my little one, Alenia.'
Samuel turned back to him, at once realizing who was soon to be spending the night in his humble home. With an expression of awe as he dropped to his knees. "Your Majesty.." He said in respect and admiration. Joseph nodded as he held his shivering small babe Alenia close. They continued down the path as Kali stayed right by Joseph. Samuel continued on trying to understand the pain and the turmoil Joseph must of been in. Nightfall began to set within the forest as the large glowing spherical sun vanished over the hillside. Luckily they reached Samuel's abode before it became full dark. To his surprise it was largely lit and vaguely familiar to him.
Kali rushed inside to greet Samuel's wife. Joseph almost dropped Alenia from his arms, as the woman stepped out of the porch. "Zamira!" He shouted in shock. The woman scowled and quickly whisked him and the child inside. Samuel shut the door behind Joseph. The woman turned to him with a suspicious expression on her face. "How do you know that name?" she asked him.184Please respect copyright.PENANAU6Wbotzfhv
He calmly replied, "She was my mother,..." 184Please respect copyright.PENANAgHI3m97f5l
The woman was thoroughly confused "How is that possible? She lived around 300 years ago!?' She said folding her arms into her shirt. She paced round the cottage trying to understand, and wondered what strange man her husband had invited into their home.
Joseph was afraid to tell them of Idor, he had probably already told Samuel too much on their trek to the house. Samuel came to his wife's side as he tried to comfort her. Suddenly he felt the urge to tell her how special Joseph's daughter was. "My dear, ye should know how special his child is.." He blurted out. She glanced at him with a scowl on her face. "Special?" She whispered, "Special how?" She asked. Samuel shook his head, "What..?" He asked. The woman was thoroughly confused more so now than ever. Samuel looked up nodding towards Joseph. "I shall give up my cot tonight.." He announced as he gestured towards the stairs. Joseph nodded as he began to pick up Alenia from where he had set her down on the floor. Samuel's wife came to his aid. "I shall care for the child, what is her name?" She asked him.
He smiled at her with a glimmer of hope in his eyes, "Idor you are good to me" he whispered. "Idor?" she asked him as if she knew the name. "Another time, the child's name is Alenia Todd Slyvar.." He said. The woman's heart fluttered as she gasped reaching out her hands. "She as her last name. Zamira Slyvar, I feel as if I am meeting her..." She said with tears in her eyes. "She lived for such a long time, most thought she was a sorceress with great power, she died when I was only a baby..twas said she sustained herself.."
Joseph embraced her in a hug. Drawing her close to him he smiled, "She was a fantastic woman she raised me with great love and care," he said as he yawned. She smiled as she stepped back, "Ye must rest.." She said "I will take great care of Alenia."
Joseph nodded as he tiredly went up the stairs. It was as if the cottage resembled Besmira's and his mother's cottage at once. Heading to Samuel's room he fell on the feather filled cot as the fatigue from his journey so far weighed on him heavily.. He sighed once more as he let sleep carry him deeply and towards Ivalon. He dreamed she was safe, Idor communicated with Joseph as he slept. Talindra, had been dealt with and thrown in a water prison. He was delighted to hear of Ivalon's safety. 184Please respect copyright.PENANA0GMZFPmLox

As Joseph fell asleep he dreamed of Ashoria unaware of the events taking place in the cottage, 184Please respect copyright.PENANAXcUe0IkSgG
A strange liquid began to pour itself through the windows and through the doorway. Samuel and Zamaria stood up staring at the black puddle of liquid that seemed to be moving towards them. 184Please respect copyright.PENANANXsVdUspPy
"What is that?" Zamira asked as she reached down to poke it.184Please respect copyright.PENANAKZxNF5sRhE
Samuel grabbed her hand quickly, "Don't it could be dangerous, I wouldn't want you getting hurt.." He said as he moved his hand towards the liquid pressing his sausage like index finger into the liquid. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAQKdoO5Jxjd
The liquid seemed to reach out with small hands grabbing his index finger before it traveled up his arm. Samuel began to smack his arm, "Zamaria! It hurts. AUGH!" He yelled. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAZgq3BLCdwX
Alenia was sitting in a chair and began to cry. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAKhjkWFD9vX
Zamria grabbed Alenia as she ran outside with the child in her arms. Samuel bashed the door open. He stared at Zamira as he smiled, "Give us the child, Bantu must have the child!" It screamed in many voices at once. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAmgydFlG9HR

Zamira in shock gasped, "The evil my Grandmother had spoken of has found the place again, This evil will befall my family again.. Husband..Please!" She shouted as he continued to step forward in lumber some steps, that seemed slow and heavy as if he was awaiting her to fight.
Kali raced out of the house as she jumped onto Samuel and began tearing into his throat. The creature thrashed its arms as it felt the pain in Sam's nerve endings, It screamed with him. As his eyes remained black but began to flicker as his brown eyes returned, "Za-mi..aaa.." He called out as the blood began to pour out of Samuel's throat. Kali relentlessly and mercilessly continued to tear into his throat and held his throat with a clenching grip. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAcymIn85PBD

Samuel's blood dripped down Kali's fur as she whimpered while holding his throat. Sam began to laugh as his eyes glazed over. His limbs went limp and his head rolled to the side. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAnDtMNYg2hs

"SAMMM!" She screamed. As Kali came off of the corpse of her husband, the liquid rolled out of Samuel's ears as it began to make its way back into the house.184Please respect copyright.PENANAtwMquVPEYj
Kali's attention was caught by it as she followed it back into the house. The door was busted off its hinges laying to the side. Kali sniffed around finding no evidence of the liquid as it hide within a corner of the cottage. Its vision wasn't very wide it had only a vision of the door way, awaiting for Alenia to return where it could strike. 184Please respect copyright.PENANASUwSGtFG6L

Zamira wept over her husband's body as she heaved him towards the garden to bury him; Alenia in tow. She stared at the baby, "Bantu won't get you; I promise.. You will be fine." She said as she began to dig into the ground. She heaved with huge grunts of desperation. "This God forsaken evil has cursed my family for a long time Alenia.. I can only hope that whatever you have to do with it..That it ends it somehow." She said as she sighed at the child, "I hope you never experience loss.. Like I have today..." She said as she grunted again throwing the last pile of dirt to her left. She pushed Samuel's body into the hole and began to push the dirt over him as the tears streamed over her face, "This is all for a reason.. It has to be.." She whispered to herself as she finished patting the mound of dirt. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAddf88p6kma

She glanced around to see that Kali had vanished, "KALI!!" She yelled, She sighed as she glanced around, "I Suppose you are safer inside with Kali,.." She said as she picked her up bringing her inside. She saw that the door was busted at the hinges as it laid to the side. She set Alenia down by the fire as Kali sniffed at her. Before returning back to the burial mound to kneel before the grave of her husband. The liquid rolled itself out of the corner that it was hiding in.184Please respect copyright.PENANAQJWLFKyzxl

The liquid made its way to Kali. Kali's hair stood on end as she growled at it. Her canines baring at it as she snapped towards it. Her ears laid back flat as she pushed Alenia with her nose away from her. The liquid latched onto Kali's nose causing her to bash around into things. Zamira heard the noise but it didn't seem to register on what was happening. She was to griefed to be mentally present. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAdXWDO9S8wL
The liquid poured into Kali's nose as Kali whimpered. Her eyes lost their colour as they formed a black sphere. She bared her teeth as her form began to change to Samuel's. Alenia began to cry as she was picked up. "Shh--Shhh.." The being spoke, "It will all be soon over,.." He said as the dawn appeared and the sun rose over the hills. He placed her over the fire's hearth, "You will die before your role to destroy Bantu ever comes into place.." It said in a very ominous tone. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAcewUtj1QMT
Alenia began to cry loudly in almost a terror filled cry. She felt the warmth of the fire on her toes. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAlthIeO13cu

Joseph was woken up to Alenia's shrill cries. He leapt out of bed to find Samuel holding her above the fire. Joseph cried out in anger. "AYE!!?" Samuel jumped turning around "What do ye think ye are doing!" he asked frantically. Samuel smile turned devilish as his voice darkened and his eyes vanished. Transforming into a creature before Joseph's very eyes. Shadows leapt from the creature's skin as it roared. Suddenly Samuel's wife burst into the cottage brandishing a large sword. "For Zamira my grandmother!!" She screamed as she plunged the long sword into its back. The creature howled as its dark form shifted into Kali. "No.." his wife exclaimed as she had to decipher the horrible event. "You were Kali?" She asked in distress. The sword glimmered sticking out of the back of what once was Kali. Suddenly a black liquid poured out of Kali's nose moving along the floor towards Alenia. Joseph initial reaction was to stomp on the liquid before it could hurt his baby girl.
He stomped on the moving liquid several times. Hearing it screech gave him pleasure. Blood poured out Kail's wounds. He grabbed the woman and the child. 'COME!" He shouted. The woman refused, "I can't leave Kali here..!" she shouted. Zamira cried terribly as Kali lay there bleeding. Joseph put Alenia down. As he did the liquid returned in the form of smoke. Trying to snatch Alenia. Joseph had no choice but to let Kali die within her misery. He dragged Zamira from the cottage. Glancing back as Kali whined, Zamira's eyes streamed with tears as her life before her fell apart. She screamed hysterically. "I can't leave Kali there!"
Joseph began to become irritated, in the spur of the moment his hand met her face. Causing himself to stumble. She fell backwards placing her hand on her face as tears and a scowl were shown on her face.
Kali's soul left her body as she went to find her master's wife. She howled a calling, Zamira shouted when she saw her beloved pet. She ran to her in an embrace. Before she vanished she licked her face as if to say "I forgive you." Samuel's wife stood up staring at Joseph with a seething hatred. "I could have saved her.... I could have saved my husband.." she said staring off into the void. "But it all came so quickly, I was out in the garden unable to sleep and I heard him screaming, I wasn't fast enough to grab the sword of the Aura.." She said. Joseph whirled around, "The sword of the Aura?" He asked. She only nodded as her hate continued to burn. "I will help ye raise the child, but from this moment forward.. I hate ye with everything that I am!!.." she yelled
Joseph was enraged "I didn't plan for Bantu's forces to be here., Idor didn't plan it, what happens.. happens, the safety of Alenia is far more important than anything else ever will be!" He yelled at her. Samuel's wife glared at him as she nodded
Well while we a forced life together, you must call me Madam Zamira." Joseph glanced at her oddly. She only sighed and said, "I was named after my grandmother.." She said. Joseph was confused as he began to realize that she was virtually his grand niece. Joseph's jaw dropped slowly as he nodded, "Madam Zamira it is.." He said as he turned not knowing where to go, she sighed, "Since the cottage is no longer safe, we must leave here and go to mainland..." She said. Joseph turned to her, "Where is here?, Where is the mainland?" He asked her. Madam Zamira smiled, "This here be Ireland.. The main land we seek is called the United Kingdom,or perhaps France..I prefer to go to London..., This cottage here belonged to my great grandmother,.. and now we must leave it to the weather. With your demons about it is unsafe for thee child." she said.
Joseph nodded, "How might one get to this United Kingdom..?" He asked her. She only sighed, "With great difficulty,.. I however do not have a voice on the mainland, I will tell you what to say, and you must get us on the boat traveling to the mainland." She insisted. Joseph glanced at her oddly shook his head and nodded in agreement. "I shall handle the affairs then, Ye must stay silent?" He asked her. Madam Zamira nodded, "Women are not noticed as Ye men are, ye men have more power and voice." She explained. Joseph was perplexed at the idea of this, "In Idor women are in power as equal as men are.." Joseph explained. Madam Zamira was star-stricken by the information. "How would one, riverboat to such a place as this?" She asked him.
Joseph gave her a perplexed expression, "Riverboat?, no.. Idor must choose who comes and who goes, it's one way.. one entry. I don't think one can return unless Idor allows.." He explained. Madam Zamira's expression faded into despair. "Ye give me sorrow.." She only said as she begun to trek through the snow. Joseph still holding Alenia followed silently. They stomped through the snow in pure silence. Madam Zamira didn't strike a conversation as her husband would of.
The globe of the sun reached far past noon, Joseph lost track of it as it was behind him. Nightfall began to set into the area as the air turned from bris to freezing. He began to worry about his child as he tucked her tighter in her blankets. She began to cry in hunger, and being cold. They journeyed with great difficulty to the edges of the northern shores of Ireland.
Madam Zamira stood quietly with her head down as they started to reach the dock of the bay, Joseph noticed how many would look down on him for carrying his child instead of the woman. As they reached the captain they were stopped by a man with a parcel in his hands. With slick sly of his wrist he passed the package into Madam Zamira's hands vanishing as quickly as he arrived.
Joseph ushered Madam Zamira towards an alley way standing in front of her so no one would see what might be inside. Madam Zamira tore into the material of the packed goods. Several thousand Irish pounds spilled out. Zamira's eyes widened as she began to gather it back into her dress. Joseph stood there in front of the alleyway unable to move as there was to many people in the market place. Madam Zamira pulled out a coin purse she had kept hidden underneath the skirt of her dress. She loaded it with the Irish pounds quickly and hastily. They rushed towards the boat as they pushed themselves past the rich and poor alike.
Madam Zamira was grabbed by the waist and slammed towards the mast of the ship. The crew didn't take kindly to a woman pushing herself past everyone. A crew member licked his lips as he smiled. Joseph scowled as fury rose in his throat as a fierce "AYE!!!" escaped his throat.
All eyes were on him, he was surprised to have everyone's attention. "Ye leave her alone!" He yelled after a moment of silence. The crew member let out a hearty loud laugh, "Well ye know as well as I do that a woman must be punished fer' er actions, pushing past the rich there aye..?" He said. Joseph was having a hard time understanding his thick accent. "Aye, But must ye rape? check in her side pocket there is pounds that will give us our passage.." He explained.
The crew member scowled as he raised his eyebrows. Snatching the coin purse from her side to find it loaded with several thousand pounds. "Its overflowing my good men..!" he cheered. 184Please respect copyright.PENANAwTyYGzstyS

The captain promptly came out at the mention of this, He snatched the bag from his fellow man. "I be taking that frum ya now." He said with a laugh as he stuffed in his pocket. He turned towards Joseph, "Ye may take yer woman and uh..," Looking down at the bundle he peeked inside, "And Ye child and go down to my quarters, ye paid yer way." He said as he gestured. He grabbed Madam Zamira holding her hand as the captain led them into his quarters. "Yee paid enough to stay here with the babe you got in your arms. I ain't no heartless man..None others have children that are to be bored here.''he said as he tapped his foot.
Joseph nodded as he whispered again, "Thank you Idor." He said. The captain heard what he had whispered as he turned around, "Idor?" He asked, "What is Idor..?" He continued.
Joseph took a giant gulp of panic as he set Alenia down in Madam Zamira's arms. He cleared his throat, "Idor is where my kingdom sits.." He began to explain. The captain had a strange look on his face. Shaking his head, "Ye be on yer way den, take heart to my generosity, aye only do so for the babe you held in yer hands, now I must go serve the rich and the poor over her" He said waving his hands as the wooden door that separated them from the rest closed. Joseph sat down, "That was rather strange, Who was that man?.. ''he thought to himself. Madam Zamira held onto the child tightly unsure of what to say.
They sat in dreaded silence before Madam Zamira glanced back and thanked Joseph for saving her. He nodded at her as his glance went over to his child. "How is she doing?" He asked her. She bit her tongue, "Ye shouldn't talk in such pure English, especially where we be going. We shall have to learn the native tongue there."
Joseph gave her a perplexed expression, "Why must we do so?" He asked her. She sighed as she set Alenia down on the bed, "Where we be going, is the French Territory. Germany belongs to the french these days, we are at war, and the English will be killed. But it's the safest place, a foreign country. Where ye demons may not find us." She said. He nodded as she proposed the idea, "This boat won't get us this far.. We will have to take the boat for ourselves..." He whispered. Madam Zamira's eyes widened, "I have no battle training..." She said in a pure accent., He was shocked and surprised for a moment, but it faded as he figured she was trained in such a way of talking.
Late that night the captain came to his quarters. where Joseph sat awaiting his return. He jumped him quickly tackling him to the floor. The captain struggled fiercely as Joseph strangled him with a tight piece of cloth. Covering his nostrils he forced the captain to gag on lack of air. The captain's eyes rolled into the back of his head as his face began to change color. Joseph was mortified at taking a life but it was his life or his daughters. Tears rolled down Joseph's cheeks as he glanced watching the captain's life-force leave him.
He sighed with a heavy breath and began to undress the captain. He put on the Captain's clothes as he sighed looking at himself, Thinking about what he had just done. He glanced over at Madam Zamira as he held a finger over her lips, "Remain quiet.." He warned as he snuck out of the Captain's Quarters. He strode onto the deck, to his luck it was the dead of night out on the sea. They didn't pay much attention to him as he was wearing the captain's clothes. He kept his head down as he picked up a nail that was laying on the floorboards. Stretching he came behind a member of the captain's crew. Quickly he put his hand over his mouth and jabbed the nail quickly into the man's neck. Joseph shuttered as another life was taken. His soul began to darken and his heart hardened at the act of life taking.
Blood poured out on his hands as the man fell over. The deed wasn't finished, to save his daughter Joseph quietly murdered the entire crew. Suddenly from behind a large fist came towards him knocking him down to the ground. "Aye ye messed with the wrong one..!" The naked captain yelled noticing the rest of his crew were all murdered. He yelled as he cried, "My family, AYE! How could ya!" He yelled. Joseph sighed, "Were we be going.. we needed the boat. They be enough Irish pounds to buy it from ye?" He asked. The captain sighed as he looked around, "We must dump the bodies.." He quietly muttered.
Joseph nodded, as he began dragged bodies towards the water. Large splashes began to awake the passengers. They began to come up to the main deck as they gasped and cried in fright. "AYE Get back to ye quarters! Nothing to see er' " The captain yelled. They were rushed back down to the first deck. Joseph was unsure what to do. The Captain realized why the women were screaming. He tapped Joseph on the shoulder, "Must ye buy my clothes as well..?" He asked him. Joseph glanced down slightly laughing to himself as he exchanged clothes. "Where must ye go?" He asked. Joseph sighed, "Somewhere far from London or the United Kingdom's." He said in perfectly spoken English.
The captain stared at him as his jaw was left agape. "Ye speaking English, Ye should go where the English live." He said. Joseph shook his head, "we mustn't that be where the demons suspect us to be." He said. The Captain sighed unable to understand, "Demons..?" he whispered. Joseph nodded as he mentioned that they must go to Germany. The Captain sighed, "The farthest I can get ye is Hanover Germany..There is a port nearby that area we can stop at." He said. Joseph nodded as he turned to leave the Captain stopped him, "Will the pounds buy me a new crew? I do have a life to make me self" The Captain asked. Joseph nodded, "There should be several thousand in there.." He said. The captain nodded as his heart rested easy, "I can forgive ye for murdering my previous crew and trying to take me self down." The captain nodded. "We shall be to yer destination in a little over four days," He said.
Joseph was transported safely to Hanover, Germany as promised, Taking Madam Zamira and his child down the docks not saying a word for he was unable to understand the native tongue. It would be increasingly hard to hide his child from the forces of darkness.
Unfortunately Madam Zamira didn't make it past four years before she was murdered by a guard for speaking English. Joseph was distraught and devastated. In his devastation he allowed himself to have sexual relations with a maiden at a tavern. The woman was a harlot, and a whore. Several months later he was gifted with a baby boy. He named the baby boy Lucas, and began to raise the small child with the help of midwives in the small village they had settled in. They were happy, content and pleased with the hiding spot they had chosen for their lives.
Unfortunately happiness didn't last very long when a maiden from the village slipped a coy idea with a seductive whisper into his ear while he lay drunk in a tavern. "Sell her out..." The bitch whispered. Seduced, and drunk he agreed to the idea. The maiden smiled as her eyes burned red, "Good my darling.." She hissed out. As she was walking away her form burned around her, "Bantu, Alenia might just return to Idor.." She hissed. A dark ominous voice radiated the air with only one word. "Good.."
