Alenia assumed that she was still sleeping as usual. Idor slept peacefully as the morning sun began to brighten up the blue skies. The village was silent as the golden rays illuminated the lush grass hills. As dawn passed to noon Idor was still quiet. It was a silent as pitch. Questions began to ring. "ANYA I am going out!" Alenia shouted in the empty cottage. Still unaware the Anya was missing. Heading out into the bright sunlight. Idor wasn't singing, dancing or joyful. Something was missing. Cottonwood was usually busy by now. With its markets, children playing tag, women and men talking with each-other. But there was not a soul in sight. Fear began to set into Alenia's heart.
"Where is everybody..?" Alenia questioned the breeze. Her feet scuffled around the emptiness. Frightened by the silence she began to shout.
"Hello Anyone there!!" But only her voice echoed through the village. Fear began to turn to panic. Her heart raced skipping beats. Her legs pounded through the village banging on every door she could find. The town was empty. She began to notice the stained blood on the cobbled roads. "What has happened here..?" She asked as she began to tear up. "Where did they go?"
Alenia sat on the edge of a cliff contemplating what could've happened to her beloved village. "I must of missed something, No one could just vanish like that." She mumbled to herself. "Not all of them at least.. The blood,.There must be a connection.." She continued. Suddenly the thoughts struck her. She hadn't even thought about Anya. Suddenly her feet were pounding against the dirt flinging it in all directions. To her horror, she found that the cottage was empty. No one in sight. Not even her beloved sister.
The poundings of her heart could almost be heard a mile away. Frantically she searched for any clues to the vanishing of her sister and everyone in her town. Was she truly alone again? Had something happened over the time of pitch? The last thing she remembered was seeing the body of David Shetland being lowered into the ground. What had she missed? Her entire village had abandoned her.
She couldn't waste anytime. She had to come to the bottom of this. Fears over-whelmed her cranium. Thoughts began to overweight her. The questions weighed upon her soul heavily. As the anxiety began to strike into the depths of her heart. What was she supposed to do? Where was she going to go? Did the beast that she saw in the woods take her loved ones?
Alenia's heart began to break into tiny pieces with every step she took away from Cottonwood village . The steps began to turn to sprints as she felt the presence of a beast behind her. Pitch was beginning to set in. Her long golden locks flowing in the wind. As her feet pounded against the dirt and rocks. She was running farther away from everything she had ever known.
To find her sister was the biggest mystery since she arrived here in Idor. Regrettable thoughts began to enter her mind. What if she never found her sister? Never got to tell her the true story of how she came to this land. Her legs were sore with pain as she ran through the dark wood. Fast footsteps behind her. She could hear the growls of the beast. Knowing it was upon her, she started to swerve through the path. In hopes to lose it in the pitch. But this creature was born for the darkness. It could see through it. Like a snake it slithered through the shadows with ease. She could almost feel the breath of the beast upon the back of neck.
It was gaining on her, she had nowhere to go. She was backed into a corner of a thicket. With wild eyes she searched frantically around in the darkness. When a pair of ice blue eyes glowed through the darkness.
"P-p Please don't hurt me, I mean you no harm!" Alenia cried out as she stared into the eyes. The optics stared back into her soul. And strangely she felt a sense of peace from the creature. An overwhelming peace came over her. As if she knew the creature staring back at her. Reaching out her hand. She began to move towards the eyes. Before she could touch the muzzle of the creature. The eyes vanished and she was alone in the pitch.
With no one to comfort her. Her soul cried out for some answers. But nothing came to her..Alone, scared, and horrified by the events that seemed to be taking place in her life. She thought everything would be peaceful and bliss. But nothing can ever stay happy. No matter where her feet landed.
As dawn approached she could see that she wasn't far from Cottonwood Village. She needed supplies if she was going to make her journey. Never would she go out blindly again. She needed to prepare for any dangers she might face outside of Cottonwood. Alenia had never been outside of it since she had arrived. Always afraid of where she was going to end up. But with her missing village, she needed to find some answers. No one could just vanish like that.
There had to be some sort of explanation as to why everyone got up and left. Leaving everything behind. Especially Anya, she knew her. Anya would never leave her little sister behind. She would have carried her to where they were going. Maybe it was just a never ending nightmare. It was possible that she could be sleeping. That what she was experiencing wasn't reality. That Anya was still there, laying beside her.
But if it was reality, then she would have to learn to accept what has become of her life. Traveling back to Cottonwood for supplies to venture on her journey, She began to think of her dream. "That is rather odd that I would of a dream of something about to happen, if only I had listened and not gone to sleep that nigh' Maybe I could still be with Anya." Gathering a few knapsacks she began to place things into them. With all the supplies of the cottage, she would need to take at least half of it to survive out in the wilderness alone.
It must of been some mistake that the village would up and leave her. Fears came back of her original village. The one she missed dearly sometimes. She missed the moon, the beautiful stars at night. The shapes in the sky she could make. But it was of no use to remember the past. It was quite painful for Alenia to focus upon. The beast couldn't of killed everyone. She had searched the village high and low for bodies. But there was not a dead body in sight. Her heart broke a little more with each step. As the village was a speck behind her. All she could do was follow the road ahead and hope for the best.
Her heart drowned in fear for herself as she wandered away from everything she had ever known.
The shadows crept along the darkened wood, rain sleeted down as thunder crashed across the sky. She was truly scared for her safety as she huddled underneath a section of trees. "I want Anya.." She cried as she brought her knees to her chest. Suddenly a pair of Ice blue eyes appeared in the darkness. Alenia cried out, "Please don't hurt me.." She cried as the tears streamed down her face. The eyes came closer to her to reveal a pure white wolf.
She gulped her fear into her stomach, "What do you want..?" She asked it. It only stared at her as it dropped a small bloodied rabbit down by her feet.
Alenia's small hands grasped it in her palms. "Than-" She was about to say but the creature had
vanished.
Alenia grasped the animal licking her lips. The rain poured too fiercely to make a fire. In her hunger, she bit down into the animal raw. The blood filled her mouth. She gagged on the raw meat but the hunger was far too strong to ignore. Curling her lips, her teeth sank into the flesh of the rabbit. Swallowing fiercely. Blood poured down her mouth as thunder crashed in the sky. Her lips tearing at the raw flesh of the rabbit. Bits of hair sticking to her mouth viciously she spit it out. Throwing the carcass down she huddled to herself again awaiting the storm to pass. Her heart dreaded the coming days without her sister. A moment of true loneliness, Wiping the blood from her face she began to cry.
The white wolf watched from above, "Poor soul.." It thought to itself. It padded down towards Alenia when suddenly it was attacked by a massive black shadow.
The amber eyes appeared in the distance, The white wolf growled. "You won't get to her.." The white wolf barked at the black shadow. It cackled, "Watch me.." it only said as it began to charge towards her.
Alenia saw the amber eyes coming towards her, "I remember you.. from the bushes.." She said. The black shadow abruptly stopped, "Yes..child.." It said. Without warning the white wolf crashed into the black shadow. Biting into its hide, tearing into its flesh. Alenia was frightened as the thunder crashed. "No!" She cried out as she began to run through the forest. Her mind was in a state of confusion.
Glancing back she could no longer see the eyes. "Anya!!!!" She screamed relentlessly as she wandered lost within the woods. Finding a hole within a tree trunk she climbed in huddling to herself until the peak of the morning dawn. The first breath of the light shone inside the hollow trunk. Alenia yawned stretching blinking her eyes. Stepping out of the hollow trunk she was suddenly grabbed swiftly. She screamed but her mouth was stuffed with a satin like cloth. Her hands were forcefully tied behind her back and her eyes were blindfolded. She was forced down onto her knees, "Ah.. There she is..." Was all that was said before her world had blackened. She awoke in a damp, musty, darkened cell. "mhhff..." she mumbled rubbing her head, noticing the blind and gag had been removed. "Where am I?.. How did I get here..?" She asked glancing around as she remembered being captured in the forest. She ran to the bars yelling for anyone who might hear her. "PLEASE.. SOMEBODY....HELP.." She cried.164Please respect copyright.PENANAjpOTdO0Ekp

Suddenly a shadow appeared on the walls. It inched closer, which turned out to be the shadow of a man. Alenia shuddered as her hands clasped the cold bars.
She glanced around squinting in the darkness. "Who are you..?" She asked the shadow. The shadow only cackled as his eyes glowed in the shadows. "Ruvean.. Or if you prefer.. Akkar.." He said with a smile that you could see shimmering in the blackness. Alenia blinked, "Why did you capture me..?" She asked him.
He cackled loudly as he lit a torch, "Shall I call you the Prophetess? The savior of Idor herself? Or does your poor little soul not know?" He said with a haunting tone. Alenia was overcome with confusion.
"The savior?" She asked him.
Akkar only laughed at her confusion, "poor little soul... GUARDS!.." He said. They came pouring in, she couldn't hear what they spoke of. Suddenly her cage door opened and she was dragged by her hair through the foreign hallways. She screamed in dreadful pain as she was taken into the throne room. Alenia was forcefully thrown down, she was startled when she heard the screams of her sister.
Her eyes shot up only to see disappointment, "Where is she? Where is my sister!" Alenia blurted out.
Akkar smiled, "And there is my answer..You don't remember what happened do you?" He asked her.
Alenia glanced at him with a confused expression which only made Akkar laugh harder.
Akkar strutted towards her grabbing her face in his hands smiling at her, "Tell me what Idor's plans for you are." He commanded. Tears welled in her eyes, "I don't know who Idor is," She cried. He sneered, "LIES!" He yelled throwing her down to the ground hard. Her face hit the white marble ground quite hard. She cried in pain and in fear. "Guards!" He yelled once more. Again she was taken by her hair dragged through the hallways and thrown into a bedroom. She landed harshly on the floor. Glancing up as she heard the door was slammed shut. Her heart gasping in fear her eyes wandered at the beauty of the room. Around her was a golden paradise, the sheets on the bed were made of the finest elven satin, the pillows of the softest cotton. "Why would he bring me here..?" She questioned herself. She fell onto the bed glancing up she gasped at the art on the ceiling.
A large flower sat in the middle of the ceiling. It was mixed with hues of gold, purple, and white. Alenia sighed peacefully wondering to herself. "Who is Akkar, why am I here? How did I get here.. What is he talking about.." She asked herself slightly remembering being captured at the hollow tree. "Who was that white wolf.." She continued to ask herself as she sat on the edge of the bed. Suddenly it was as if her reality shattered. Her mind warped as she felt a crushing blow to the head. Opening her bruised eyes she was overwhelmed with confusion. "Mumf.." She groaned as she moved her hands noticing that they had been tied.
"What..Was is this?" She gargled out of her swollen mouth. Akkar came into view, "Poor little prophetess, I think I just broke your precious little mind haven't I..?" He said with a cackle. Another strike of pain was introduced within her body. "AH! Stop! What are you doing! What do you want!"
"What is wrong with my mind! How long have I been here!?" she screamed. Akkar only laughed at her pain as he began to cut her skin. "Prophetess..Tell me what you know, you know who you are don't you.." He said as his blade cut into her skin. She screamed in blood curdling pain. "PLEASE.. STOP!" She screamed. The blade retracted from her arm as she gasped in relief.
"Please just tell me how long I've been here, when did I arrive?" She asked him. Akkar smiled, "You have been here for several days little child..This is called Magic..Do you remember the hollow tree? That was days ago..Don't you remember my touch?" He asked her as his fingers lightly went across her inner thighs. Suddenly it was as if the memories returned, She was tied to the bed as he beat and used her. "No.." She said as she began to cry, "Why?" She said sobbing as she pulled at her straps. "Who are you, why are you doing this.." She repeated.
Akkar smiled twirling his blade within his fingers with a sadistic smile, "I suppose you can call us family.." He said as he smiled. He lifted her chin with the blade forcing her to look into his golden eyes. Her swollen eyes glanced back in pure fear, "Please..." She whispered as the tears fell down her face. "I don't know who I am...I don't know anything.." She cried. Akkar frowned, "Perhaps you don't but, doesn't mean I can't enjoy the pain I give you.." He said as her world began to twist again and she was back in the cell. Her eyes fluttered open as her head pounded. She felt her face and the wounds were no longer there. She could hear Akkar's laugh echoing as he left the dungeon.
Alenia's lips quivered as she shuddered in fear, "I must find a way out.."She whispered as she felt her way to the bars of the gate to her cell. A growl came from the end of the hallway where her cell was kept."W-who's there.." She softly cried in a hushed whisper. The white wolf appeared before her, "You..You were in the forest..Please..Help me.." She asked it. It only stared at her as it left the dungeon, "No.. No.. please.. come back!" She whispered in a louder tone. Alenia's heart dropped as fear began to settle in. Suddenly the wolf returned with a pair of keys. Dropping them into her cage, Alenia fiddled with them in the darkness trying to find the right one. The wolves ears perked as she swiftly turned around at the sound of running footsteps. Alenia's heart pounded as she stuck the keys into the lock trying to get it to open.
Fussing with it, sweat dripped from her forehead as she shook with fear. "Come on.. come on.." She whispered as she stuck the last key into the cage. It squeaked open, swiftly she ran out as the guards came pouring into the dungeon. The white wolf backed her by snapping at the guards. "GRAB HER!" They yelled. "Don't let her escape!" Akkar's voice said. Alenia ran through the hallways swiftly as fear gripped her heart tightly. "Where do I go? Where do I go?" She questioned frantically in her mind. The white wolf flew past her in a sprint as if to direct her. The guards torches could be seen as shadows on the wall behind them. She huffed as her legs pumped following the white wolf. The white wolf jumped through a window into the maiden chamber. Women screamed as Alenia rushed into the chamber. The wolf pressed a dusted button on the wall; a door opened. Alenia could feel the breeze coming from it. Quickly she dodged into it as the guards came crashing into the room. They fired their arrows as one of them happened to land in her leg as the door smashed shut. You could hear Akkar's frantic yelling to open the door, but the button wouldn't open the door. Akkar screamed as he ordered the guards outside of the castle.
"FIND HER!" He yelled in fury. Alenia followed the tunnel down into a cavern where she sprinted until she saw the light at the end. Pushing herself through the tiny hole in the ground. She screamed as the arrow caught on the ground. "AH! DAMNIT!" She screamed as she broke it off sticking it into the ground next to the hole. "May prove useful another time.." She whispered as she heard the guards shout from behind her. She ran swiftly through the forest, "Where is the white wolf?" She thought to herself. She ran until she couldn't run anymore. Blood gushed down her leg as it pulsed in pain. She didn't know how far away from Cottonwood she was anymore. The forest she was in was foreign and it scared her deeply.
Her knees buckled in exhaustion as she fell to the ground. Her eyes closed as her head hit the soft grass beneath her. As she was falling asleep a creature picked her up into the sky. "What..Wh..Who.. who are you, wha..." She said as she passed from exhaustion.
