Jonah came back into the living room smelling eggs, pancakes and fresh bacon. Just the smell of it all made Jonah's stomach growl loudly, this snapped Jonah out of the trance the smell put him in and so Jonah hurriedly sat in a chair at the island in the middle of the kitchen right as Alex was plating the food. When Alex got done plating the food he put one plate in front of Jonah and another in front of him along with a glass of orange juice for both of them.
"Here eat up, you're gonna need your energy today. I have a lot planned for us." Alex said as he started to eat. After Jonah had swallowed the bite he had in his mouth he replied saying, "Wait, you mean we can't just stay in and watch movies all day?" Alex slightly chuckled at the question and smiled as he replied, "Nah, although I would be down to do it again tonight. I figured we could go shopping for some stuff to decorate your room with to help you settle in and maybe then we could swing by the pet shelter if we have time and adopt a dog, I know how much you've wanted one since we were little." Jonah smiled at the thought of being able to adopt a dog and was happy that Alex remembered that far back since the last time Jonah talked about that was when he was five.
"Could we maybe skip the normal shopping and go straight to the pet shelter?" Jonah shyly asked as he was eating the last bite of his food. Alex had nodded since he still had food in his mouth, this made Jonah smile so big it hurt. After they had both finished their breakfast Alex looked Jonah up and down, making him blush hard, and Alex finally said "Jonah before we leave go put at least some sweat pants on. There's no need to walk around half naked outside, I don't mind you doing it here." Jonah blushed hard and being at a loss for words just nodded and went to his room to change into some gray sweatpants and a tight short-sleeved Disturbed shirt.
