The last week of school passed by quickly. It was now the second day on our trip.
The first day wasn’t highly exciting. Instead of Yoongi - who is a senior - treatening to snap Jungkook’s neck if he dares to bother his sleep one more time - nothing thrilling occured.
Everyone was busy installing their tent, we didn’t get a cottage like the evil specters we call teachers. And when a guy accidentally threw one of the stick thingy after his friend and actually managed to knock down our demonic math teacher, i felt like a little kid on christmas. Never have i been so proud in my life.
By the time the sun set, we didn’t have enough energy to even keep our eyes open so we all went to sleep right away, preparing for a new day of torture.
The night went by in the blinck of a light bulb. No bear, no wild squirrel to confuse Jungkook’s head with an acorn, no hungry ghost - Nothing.
I slowly opened my eyes, rubbing my eyes and yawning with all my soul, i looked around me to see both Somin and Jungkook fast asleep.
I sighed and closed my eyes again, in hope that i could sleep for a few more minutes as well, before i’ll have to get up and endure whatever those malicious creatures bind us to do.
0.02 second passed, a doubtful silence fell over the camp. 0.05 second passed and i heard~
LET THE HUNGER GAME BEGIN!
The crazy hunger game lunatic fan from my science class must have woken up and think she’s Katniss something.
From my left, Jungkook growled, annoyed by the sudden outburst from our reckless class-mate. He stood up, ruffling his hair making it messier than it already was.
He looked at me, his eyebrows narrowed in confusion, his eyes only half open.
I looked back at him as clueless as ever.
Only a few minutes later did i found out the crazy girl planned a game, and we were now in the forest, runing like feral animals.
We played “Hunger Games”.
The forest wasn’t extremely large but it was dense enough to put on a game like that.
It was Me, Somin and other two girls, Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung.
We were given a backpack and a few task to completete. One of them in which we had to find empty bottles of water - hidden by the teachers under the leaves - fill them up at the river as evidence.
Other things too but i can’t remember.
An hour after the game started and i already found a bottle. Being my clumsy self, i stumbled over it.
The maximum was of 3 bottles per person and i already had one. Now i have to find 2 more and fill them up - all of this while i have to hide myself from the others.
I didn’t really cared about the game - at first - then i heard footsteps coming closer and closer and my adrenaline raised up with 1000%.
I swiftly heaved myself up a tree, trying to cover myself through the branches full of green leaves.
From under me, i could see a tall silhouette stopping right beside the tree i was perched into. He looked left and right as if expecting to see someone.
I clutched my hand on my chest, my heart racing so fast i could swear he can hear it.
But he left after a few minutes of nothing heppening.
I jumped off the tree, looking around cautiously before continuing on my path.
Another bottle was foun near the gate who indicate the extremity of the forest.
I quickly turned on my heels and started towards the river. I hasn’t been long though and a force dragged me backwards, soon not feeling the ground under my feet anymore, i was being lifted on someone’s shoulder.
“You thought i haven’t seen you up there little squirrel ?” The man with a deep voice articulate.
It was Taehyung.
“How did you see me up there?” I frowned, too confused to comprehend what was happening and that i had escape from him.
“I heard you when you jumped off.” Althought i couldn’t see his face, i was absolute sure he was smirking right now.
“You don’t really know how to be quiet, babygirl” He teased to which i rolled my eyes.
“Let go!” I kicked the air and hit his back in an attempt to weaken him a little bit, enough to allow me to withdraw myself from him - but i accidentally hit hit butt.
He let out a deep, low chuckle and i felt my face burning red.
“Easy there, little squirrel, you don’t wanna turn me on now, do you?” He inquired.
“Shut up” I said embarrassed.
“Anyway, don’t fight against me too much. The game is already over. I’m taking you back to the camp” He stated.
I rolled my eyes and pushed a long, thin branch with my feet, far enough to hit Taehyung in the face. And that’s what happened when i retired my feet and the branch stopped right in his face.
He let go of me to cover his face with his hands, and i sprinted away from him. Even if the game was over might as well exit the forest on my own.
Right when i went through the exit gate, i came face to face with Jimin, who looked irritated for some reason.
Behind him was an amused Jungkook, a cheeky smile playing on his lips.
I cocked my head to the side confused.
“Where is Taehyung ?” Jimin questioned me.
I was about to respond when another voice was heard from behind me.
“Right here” It was Taehyung with a bloody nose.
Jimin scowled, meanwhile i tried to contain my laugh. Unfortunately, Jungkook bursting out, laughing his ass off caused me to laugh as well.
Jimin, then, looked at me clueless, his eyes pleading an answer.
“Long story” i shrugged and tried going over to Jungkook.
Jimin grabed my wrist and pulled me back to him.
“I have all night for you, princess” He smirked and i stared at him wide eyed.
I know he didn’t say it literally, but still, bad idea.
