”Mmmm...” Dark groaned, staring at her calculator, this was so boring! And she couldn’t even use her phone, that calculator was literally the only device she could use without the relief teacher yelling at her. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything to do with a CALCULATOR!!!! A voice brought her out of her dilemma, Laito? “Come, Dark, see this!” Laito was a shy boy (Shy boi :3) from the first time they met, but Dark hadn’t seen him for quite awhile, and so had not known he grew more open. Heck, she didn’t even know he knew her name.
She snapped out of her memory and looked at him, hands holding her calculator. She let out a small “hm?” Of acknowledgement, propping herself up on her arms on her desk, peering at the screen. ‘h A 1 1 0’ was written on it, Dark’s eyes lit up in awe. “How’d you do that??” She asked curiously, a smile never leaving her flushed face, grinning, Laito re-did the word, eyes shining as Dark watched quietly, focusing more on him than she’d like to admit. A new word was made and Dark blushed even darker at it being her name. She nodded and looked down quickly, waiting to see what happened next. The device was put in her lap, and Laito let his eyes meet hers. “Your go!” He chimed, watching as Dark struggled to find any of the keys he had used. A soft chuckle escaped the boy and Dark flushed to the point of no return...”Need help?” “Y-yesh..” Admitting defeat, she re-watched the entire process and followed his lead step by step. Eventually, she spelled out Laito’s name and fisted both her arms up in success! Do you think I'm helpless?
The next instance was with a little paper boat. Dark sighed as her history class nearly bored her to death. She looked around her group: 1’s asleep, 1’s not even here in school today so that just left her and Laito. Stretching out her upper body, her arms just about touched the edge of Laito’s table,–who was sitting across from her–a yawn floating by while she looked at him, “Bored?” Rhetorical question, but the petite girl answered anyhow. Nodding, she laid her head on the table, eyes still facing him. Out of nowhere, she watched as the curly-haired boy pulled out a spare sheet of paper, folding it. My algebra gon' equal you every time
This time though, Dark concentrated fully on the swift fingers folding in front of her. Her heart tugged as she felt another wave of heat flood on her cheeks at the thought of how hard she wanted to impress him. “Can I have a paper?” She asked once the little paper boat was made. A smirk etched its way onto his face, expecting her to need his help again,–which she did but only at one tiny part–but she managed to pull through and finish the whole thing without almost any help. They smiled brightly at each other for awhile, and Dark realised that she was falling in love way faster than she had planned. Do you think I'm calling?
The day came when Dark was going to confess to Laito, but being the shy person she was, she didn’t do it face to face, let alone directly. Instead, she told him through text messages; sending him a post about different zodiacs and their compatibility, but pinpointed her’s and Laito’s. It took some time and some ridiculous answers and name calling but Laito managed to get it and told Dark that he wasn’t sure yet. Dark’s heart sank a little, but refused to show it, instead falling asleep and awaiting the next day. Do you think I'm calling out your name every night
(DeCeMbEr FiRsT) The next morning, Dark woke up to a message that asked her how she’d react to Laito’s confession from himself. She thought about it for a long while (I’m being completely honest :b) and ended up replying that she’d be happy, which of course she would be, but she didn’t want to overdo it just in case her dreams would be crushed. However, Laito admitted that he felt the same way too and the two began being together. Girl, I have fallen for you
Dark is a very anxious person, who is also very sensitive and panicky. (She apologises deeply) But she truly loves Laito, and so worried constantly on loosing him. One night, she asked him what made her so special:
’You really wanna know why?’
’Yesh!’

‘It’s because you’re one of the nicest people around my age and you’re just so loveable, like it’s impossible not to love you.’
Dark blushed furiously, typing back her love as well as sprinkling it all off with hearts and little kissy signs, letting herself calm down significantly and letting her veins be filled with rushes of oxygen and her mind filled with dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin.
Fast forward a long way of hearts and smiles and Laito just being cute...(Agust SHHHH) and Laito and Dark were just sitting on the small steps of their school staircase, Dark laid on Laito’s shoulder, falling asleep when suddenly Cleo and Light appeared, speaking to Dark and keeping her awake. The conversation seemed to die down as Laito grabbed her cheeks with a palm and faced them towards him. I got everythin' you ne-e-ed
”See my dumpling.” Wait.. ”Wha-what??” “You’re my dumpling, you look like a dumpling, you’re my cute dumpling.” Dark wanted to protest, but her heart was stuck in her throat as she just glowed with shyness and shoved her face into the crook of her boyfriend’s collarbone and neck. “If I’m the dumpling you’re the noodles!” She pointed an accusing finger, and placing a kiss on his cheek. Dark remembers trying on Laito’s sweater for the first time; he was significantly taller than her, and so, the sweater was relatively bigger than her as well. Laito let out a chuckle, and Dark eyed him curiously, he waved a hand dismissively, “You look so small.” He smiled and Dark felt her legs nearly give out because that smile was going to be the death of her. He made her so happy, and said all the things she both wanted to hear but never got to, and what she didn’t even know she wanted to hear and got to.

To Dark, Laito is perfect, he was always there for her even when she was being unreasonable, he never left her alone and remembered all her little bad habits that she needed to get rid of but didn’t really care to. He was sweet, and brave and adorable altogether. He treated her like a princess even though she wasn’t and loved her always. They stayed like that for awhile, this time Dark beginning to drift off but she awoke to the shifting of her love’s hand, watching intently as he interlocked their fingers and tested his grip, squeezing. Dark giggled, a happy, fuzzy feeling of love overriding her senses as she let herself drift off into a dreamy state.
Dark looked straight into Laito’s eyes (I’m not exaggerating) and he into hers, she wanted to shy away, but something she saw in his eyes dragged her in like a moth to a flame. “Kiss me you fool.” The words took a while longer than they should’ve to register in her mind, but she got it anyhow and smirked as she declined it, leaving her sweetheart to pout and look away. To her surprise, Laito was very calm about the situation and asked her what happened, the mark was red and she had been slapped relatively hard but it was more of a freak accident than anything. So he played it off and let Dark be.
A few weeks later...”Darrrrk!!
