Elliot arrived back home and immediately went to his study, where he turned on the dim lights. A dim environment gave him a soothing sensation, especially on what happened earlier in the day. Since Detective Rose suspected him of killing Amanda, he knew that he couldn't raise suspicions. However, it was difficult for him to remain in the dark.
Alexandria was the reason why he did what he did. Elliot felt that it was her fault for making him desire her or making him dispose of his wife. He sighed as he threw his suit and mask on one of the chairs and sat on his main chair behind his desk. The Professor hacked into the University's system to see if there was any news about him. It was known that Elliot was hated within the University, but that didn't bother him since he hated everyone in the University except for Alexandria.
Ever since Elliot began working at the University, he has learned some skills in hacking emails and other important information used to blackmail or prepare. When he read the emails, Elliot found that many students decided to have parties within and outside the campus.
Students and Professors alike were celebrating his temporary absence. It was comical, but Elliot decided to attend one of them at the University's ballroom. The Professor suspected that Alexandria would be in attendance and decided to go to her dorm. He was able to hack into her information and found out where she lived. Elliot ensured his vehicle was not tracked and went to her dorm room, where he hid in the janitor's room until he knew that Alexandria and her friends were gone.
It irked him that Alexandria went out to celebrate his absence, but he knew that she would eventually be his. That was why he installed all the cameras in her dorm apartment, where she would be carefully watched. Afterward, Elliot went to the ballroom, where Alexandria danced with her friends. When the Professor saw her in her beautiful dress, he was enamored of how the dress clung to her body. When watching her dance was what enthralled him; her body moved with a passion that seduced many of the male students.
Elliot wanted to kill all those men who dared touch what he deemed to be his property. The memory was fresh in his mind as Elliot remembered when he motioned Alexandria to a dance. She was reluctant, which he anticipated, but after accepting his invitation, Elliot showed her who was in charge.
The Professor closed his eyes and remembered the intense look he and Alexandria shared as they danced. Elliot had the opportunity to touch her body, and it was the most exciting feeling he had ever felt. His eyes were opened, and Elliot turned on his laptop to see if the cameras worked. The suspense got to him; he didn't want his work to go to waste. Once he clicked 'turn on,' the screen split into six windows, representing the rooms where the cameras were.
The cameras' systems were downloaded until the screens were turned on and the rooms were shown. "They work. Good." The time was checked, and it was 11:30 p.m. He wondered when Alexandria would arrive but thought it best to shower first and check the cameras later. As Elliot stood, that was when he heard a noise on the camera in the living. At the corner of his eye, the door of the apartment opened.
Alexandria and her two friends finally arrived at the apartment. The Professor sat back down in his seat and watched with anticipation.
"Woah, that was fun! Did you have fun?" asked Jenny.
"Sure did! I realized that I was so consumed with surviving that asshole's class that I forgot how to live a little!" Alexandria giggled as she dropped herself on the couch. The door was closed, and everyone sat on the couch.
"You always were a party pooper, Alex. You were always weary of going to parties. I know you want to do well in your studies, but you have to learn how to focus on yourself too," said Max.
Alexandria sighed. "I know. You guys are right, and I thank you for giving me the chance to have fun! Oh, I forgot to tell you guys the good news: I was hired to be an assistant to a Professor!"
The news came as a surprise to everyone, Elliot included. His eyes were glued to his laptop screen. "An assistant!? To whom!?"
Jenny and Max looked at one another and then to Alexandria. "Really? Which Professor?" asked Jenny.
"He's the one who is substituting for Professor Elliot. I am going to be working for Professor Richard Hart. He even said he can be one of my references when the time calls for it!" The young woman squealed with excitement. "I'm looking forward to it."
Elliot felt rage and shock; Alexandria would work for a male Professor who wasn't him. The thought of his possession being close to another man made his blood boil.
"Wow, congrats, Alex. We hear stories about how professors choose particular students to be assistants," said Max.
Alexandria also knew about the stories, but there was the possibility that the many stories were rumors. Unlike Elliot, she believed Richard was a man with integrity and respect. "I know, but this Professor is different; I can sense that he is a good man. You know, I'm not the type of woman who opens her legs for opportunities."
Jenny and Max looked at one another, happy for their friend. However, they were still worried about her, but they could tell Alexandria was confident in their choices and decisions. All the couple wanted was for her to be happy and safe. "Well, alright. We know that you're very smart. Still, if that bastard tries anything on you, you know that you can count on us," Jenny stated.
"I know. Anyway, do you guys want to crash here? I know you guys drank a lot."
Elliot kept watching them but didn't pay any more attention. Their voices sounded distant, and his rage filled his mind and body. Alexandria was going to work for another man and was happy about it. He knew he had to find more information about Professor Hart before he and Alexandria could get close. 16Please respect copyright.PENANAlMxjo3E13C
