He always keeps his necklace on as it contains his control he built up over his kins blood lust. Croens are one tough race of demon due to their hard feathers on their arms, and ability to take artillery fire and shrug it off. They also are known to kill entire villages/towns to sate their blood lust. The only known way to bring a croen out of blood lust is to contain them into slumber. This can either take a short period of time or a longer time frame. Nate had originally learned control after wandering around Arios alone. Nate fell to his blood lust when Alura was just 3 after he gave her his necklace, knowing what could happen. It unfortunately did during the first invasion attempt by Natta. This resulted in him being sealed in slumber within a crystal created by the 3 God brother’s: Hiatsu, Marizu and Ginsu. He is later released and is back to normal, albeit weaker from his slumber. He is able to be reunited with Sophia, they talk and catch up. During that night, their lives ended in each others arms due to Amoxious seeing it needed to bring in a lethal aid.
