2026 Journal Entry – I thought it would be instructive to write down an example of how most newscasts covered the incident involving Julia, Nafisa, and the Washington Monument:

She had been granted permission by the government to simulate a "magic-trick lift" of the Washington Monument ten feet off the ground. Even the most skeptical scientists are at a lost for how the Monument did seem to rise and then fall atop Woodgreen herself. Julia has been in law enforcement custody for about a year, and today she will be released. Felix and I met to discuss how we proceed. Here is a transcript of that pivotal conversation we had:

"Without a doubt, the feds didn't know what to do with her anymore. 'The feds' being slang."
"Everyone knows that. Later this year, Julia has to do another "Battle of the Lesser Divinities."
"Correct. Felix, you have to continue to train with her every day. Make her strong, Felix."
"Loviatar understands that in her place, Julia will challenge Kiputy during the next Battle."
"Nafisa was one of Kiputy's shape-shifting followers, capable of taking on the form of a raven."
"Meanwhile, F.B., she's attracting what would typically be known as 'the wrong kind of people.'"
"That's a problem with no more scores of disaffected youth. They were horrified by Nafisa's gruesome death. Instead, they have been replaced by people dressed in black of all ages."
"Next time you see her, what are you going to recommend as to how we move forward?"
