So here’s a funny story (Agust have fun reading this cause it is totally true and it happened today >:D )

-Dark’s P.O.V-
I glance up at my low-light phone screen for the time: 1:30 A.M. Stifling my giggles I mute the call and rearrange my thoughts. “ ‘I don’t sleep’ Yeah right.” The whisper slips past my lips into the dark, lonely abyss of my bedroom.
I’m on call with Kanato; and the guy straight up told me he doesn’t sleep. Well...he’s sleeping. Right now. I wait, trying to see if he’d wake up again, like he did the past two times, but I doubt he will this time. His soft snores stagger unevenly and little shy rustles echo through the receiver. It’s strangely peaceful.
It’s been awhile since we were like this–maybe about a year or less– but it still feels oddly familiar. A couple Chewbacca-like noises grumble out through my side of the phone and I nearly burst out laughing as my train of thought details itself. I’m definitely quiet enough, might as well just turn the mute off. Which I do, and listen gleefully to the ineligible mumbles and yawns.
It’s almost as if I can imagine it. As if he were just one huge Tomcat, stretching out it’s long limbs and purring contentedly. I feel my own eyelids drop as I absorb his vibe. I check the time again: 2:00 A.M. I nod to myself as to not make any noise as I hang up and send a Winner’s Message:
