He washed and fixed his curls then he saw the lady in his mirror. By instinct, Terry grabbed a toothbrush and pointed its blunt edge to his attacker. She immediately held his wrist and twisted it too fast that he suddenly felt the pain which caused him to drop his weapon. Then the lady pulled and turned him around; at the same time, she got his other hand and tied it over the other. Terry did not know where she got the rope and why she was too strong but her smile stopped him from panicking too much. With a southern accent, she introduced herself as ‘Eston the Judge’.
Terry was cooking breakfast when she said that she’ll have nothing because of a strict diet. This made him a little happy since his budget won’t be enough for the next days if he prepares something for her. Judge Eston asked if he stole Wolfgang’s furniture; he laughed at her question before informing her of what had happened and why he took everything. She was worried that he’s having a hard time so the lady asked if he would like to borrow some money and repay it whenever he’s ready. Terry immediately declined; he’s not the kind of person who would be fine with having a debt to someone. This is because he had a bad experience of having such a burden. Judge Eston assured him that she won’t come knocking at his door to have her money back, ever! But he still said no to her offer. Before leaving the topic, she bit her lips and said ‘huh’. She was clearly thinking while looking at him – finding a way to convince him to accept this help. But she gave up minutes later and began informing him of what is the nature of his job.
They were at the town hall, strolling on the wooden floors, heading towards his office. The Judge said he won’t need formal clothes yet he wore something a bit professional – just in case. She opened the door – second to the last door near the back door. Before he could take a step inside, Eston reminded him not to open any doors on that wing besides this unless the mayor permits him. He smiled and confessed that he did one of the don’ts the first time he visited the town hall; he explained that he was looking for the mayor. As a response, her smile faded and turned into a pout, her browse crossed as well. Then the Judge excused herself for a second to have a word or two with Gilbert. Just like his house, it was spotless. Polished but this time, furnished yet all seemed empty until he peeked on the drawers of the thick wooden table – there he found a handgun. He took the weapon like it meant nothing – just to check if it’s real. This was also when Judge Eston returned. Terry swore with his very soul that he meant no harm yet she jumped on him; swiftly seized the gun from his lousy grip, spun to confuse him and pointed its muzzle on his forehead. He can’t find a reason why she is too aggressive but he didn’t let it pass again. With all he have, Terry ducked, slid her arm on his shoulder and with his left thumb, he pressed it deeply bellow her invisible apple. She coughed painfully as an effect but it didn’t cause her to drop the gun. He didn’t want to take it in the first place, Terry just want to settle this in a mature way. He was about to convince her that he was doing nothing wrong, the hidden camera on the corner will be his witness but Eston shut him by saying that he should stop pretending to be the most harmless citizen of Route 31.
