Dark spikes sprout through the void as Karma jumps out of the way and looks at a perfect image of El " You are not me who are you ? " " I'm the ancient " " No the ancient evil is big and had the title of the devil "
" Count who is that person he has Father's face " " You should be his delusions " Karma waited for a response but got nothing " You're less talkative than the real El "
Karma blocks with his soul as the spikes shatter " Who are you ? What are you ? " " What is he doing ? " " Are you assessing whether I must be removed or not " Karma asked as he recalls what he knows about AI .
" Isir would be able to understand the thought train of souls like you " ' I mean realistic AI's Lucifer " Only Karma could hear Lucifer's words " Hold on Fake El I have to talk to myself for a while "
Fake El stood staring at Karma as he backed away ' Okay so remember when god had the wish to brave the devil ? That's the delusion that should have manifested after he forgot about it "
" Why is he here ? " ' The thing is he has been feeding it unintentionally , I probe around his soul to see a few useful things " " How is he feeding it unintentionally ? "
' Probably because he had some wishes related to it kinda like how promise keepers need someone to acknowledge them but this one is made of El's soul instead of Count's soul "
Karma takes a look at the fake El and said " By the way I'm calling you Le to make it easier " ' Le is kinda like promise keepers but the memories that composed them aren't enough to give him a self so I can kill him without remorse "
Karma checks on Le's memories ' Now I want to remind you that Le is supposed to be the delusion El had when he prepared to try and kill Count , but he let it go after seeing it fail which sorta created Le "
" So why are we here to find him ? " ' Because we need to get rid of it , because this Le is the weapon that El prepared to fight Count because he didn't dare to , it used to feed on El's desire to be freed by the monster named Count but you know that desire or hope slowly decreased as he will die which is why I had to use the world as a way to send El out "
" This is unheard of " ' Which is why I had to probe his very soul to find this information now the plan here is to kill him , there is no need to feel remorse because Le has no such thing as a self he's kinda like an empty shell looks like it has a pearl inside but when you open it there is nothing "
" But why did god keep him ? " ' Maybe because he thought Le was the only one who stood against Count but you know the future has changed and now Le is just an obstacle to a good future for others which is why El is now sitting in that throne keeping him inside maybe because it takes too long to destroy Le likely because he grew stronger from El's wishes "

Meanwhile , El was busy calming the wrath " Where is he ? " Count yelled as he only found god's throne with a seal showing a star with seven points similar to what the believers have .
" That's a fancy pattern " Count wondered if they should break it as they found some of Karma's memories lying around being burned by the eternal fire .
" I did remember Karma burning memories during his fight with Michael " Count takes a look at the memories assuming that Karma was around " But what about that guy I need to talk to him about the treatment he has been giving to my children , I'm not a good parent but I'll at least do this for my children "
Count looks at the sea made of Karma's blood and spots Reed climbing down " Oh no " They quickly grab Reed and Isir putting them down ' I'll ask Reed what he's doing later '
Count doesn't have a sense of time that the duration Karma gave them was already up as they thought they still had time as they pulled the rest of their body .
But just as everyone was already used to seeing what happened Count had to show them something more terrifying as the strange pillar that reached heaven reformed as branches and tendrils sprouted out to push Count's body out of the dreaming .
Everybody was so terrified by what was occuring , the previous beasts were enough to scare the believers and improve the morale of Babylonians , but now a giant being of unknown origin that wasn't written in revelation interrupted the battle .
They weren't sure what it was as it came out of the sea , where it's surfacing from was unknown , the Babylonians felt only the rational fear of a giant being that could crush them , but the believers thought something else .
" It's the devil "The holy spirit in every believer had raised the rational fear of a giant being as the holy spirit was a part of El and a carrier of his fear towards Count .
Sadly this fear of Count was slowly realized after Count's body was pushed to space attaching themselves into the planets to gain greater leverage .
The fear that the believers felt was still not comparable to El's past fear because as Count's body spread out of the dreaming it came going on and on that everyone wondered if this monster would ever stop growing .
They even had the thought that Count had already occupied the entire solar system just because they were smaller . And finally , the fear of the believers suddenly rises as an Eye opens looking down at the world .
A mouth also opens as it asked " Where are you El ? " El looks up to the dark sky with the only thing lighting the world being Count's eyes that opened around the world as they spot their target " Found you "
El was shocked to hear that Count found him , he looked around as a giant hand reached down , a believer found someone carrying a greatsword with a big blade and six thorns protruding out of a wide knuckle guard with a line of words covering its wielder .
The ancient words of the first book in the bible collection "Genesis" , the believers who were close felt like god had just saved them " Ar-are you god ? " They asked in a shivering voice from fear .
" Yes I am , but please call me El " " El ? " " Yes that's the name of god " El swung his blade as he raised Genesis up pointing at Count " Count I am over here come and kill if you like " El yelled as everyone in the world was surprised .
El turned Genesis down as he struck the ground causing a great wave of light , Count sensed the familiar feeling that cut their body that day " Is that the thing you used to take my body ? " " Yes " El said now with a serious face as the wrath of the seventh bowl decreased .
" I'll have to get rid of it " Count reaches down at El as all their focus was on the god which the believers didn't think looked like a young human . Parts made of uneven and crooked branches struck the ground as El took Genesis to move away from the location .
The first thorn glows with a strand of black highlighting the darkness as El swings Genesis while on his run striking Count's body parts that fall and block his path ' Where is this guy going ' ' Good they still have their sight on me '
As El continued to run so did the wrath of god that was being reduced " God has returned " The believers yelled as they regained morale despite the fear that El had placed in them through the holy spirit .
The Babylonians weren't doing well despite having the Fae by their side , to make matters worse the wingless angels who heard the message really believed it as they picked the nearest weapon and continued their attack .
However thanks to a few Babylonians who found out that the giant was against god they spread the news as equally as the believers spread the news that God was alive .
Meanwhile , the promise keepers bumped into the throne of god after tracking Karma's location " Why can't we go in ? " Gale asked Dream as they were just poking the horn of their narwhal form and even tried a horse with a horn .
" There is this weird star with seven points aren't stars usually drawn with five points ? " Dream said and the promise keepers like a group of children were trying to figure out how to break it , Ember was outright burning it and Gale was tracing lines while keeping any other of their siblings from falling .
" Karma is inside why would he lock himself inside in the first place ? Is there another danger inside that he won't let out " Gale said " I don't know but this kind of star doesn't look like it's Karma's work it just doesn't sound like him to do this , maybe somebody else did this " Truth said .
" Really ? " Embers asked " Yeah or maybe he wants to send a message but if he wants to couldn't he have written something instead ? " They searched around but found nothing . Dream even went around but found no memories to peek at likely because of the flames that was burning .
" Hey look down there it's really bad " Gale said as everyone looks at the world experiencing one disaster after the other " Should we do something ? " Ember asked " Maybe we can eat more food to get stronger ? Maybe we can figure out how to break this thing if we are stronger "
They all think of the bounty of food that will fall to earth's core due to the apocalypse that was occurring as the people felt fear of the elements " Okay Dream take us there " they all fall from heaven as Dream opens a portal to the dreaming taking everyone to the world .
And without Count hogging all the food and leaving some they find more , like children who found candy they happily dived into the pile and ate everything they each could eat cutting memories to share if they were in the same .
Truth was taking a look at some as they found something that didn't look right , they picked the memory as they looked at the stone tablet " So that's what's in there " Truth took the plate as branches carried it the same way their parent used to bring things close to it .
" Hey everyone I found something really good " Dream and Gale when to them and checked what Truth found " What did you find ? " Truth showed the memory of how to unseal what was left on the throne " I can't believe we found this "
" Do you think we can use it now ? " Truth asked while everyone was eating quickly as they knew the importance of what was going on upstairs " Maybe I can take it we don't need everyone to leave " Gale said .
" Okay but you have to eat it and digest it quickly we know that our parent can do it and so can we " " Yes I know while I'm at it I'll go out and exercise " Gale ate the memory as Dream opened the portal " Do you think Gale will be able to do it ? " Truth asked .
" What do you mean ? " Dream asked confused and wondering about Truth's worry " Usually when you solve riddles don't you need other things that Gale can't use ? " " Then I'll just wait for Gale to come here and tell me what they need , their fast so movement isn't hard for them "

The second thorn on the knuckle guard of Genesis glows as El teleports from Count's attacks that are more faster than the first thorn could handle forcing the use of the second thorn .
He swings Genesis to his back and slashes with the second thorn space separating power and slicing between the body that fell to grab him . He activates the third thorn as vines , branches and leaves took root on Count's sliced of body .
" You did it again " the cross-section of Count's body burned and black-blue ice froze the ashes of plants that grew as El stopped in his tracks beside a giant part shadowing them from Count's view and beside the Scapegoat's skull and heals the damage that was affecting him .
" It's a good thing he dropped this here " El could sense the other skull in the other side of the world as they calmed the releasing of sins that were blamed on everyone indiscriminately excluding the fae .
El grabs hold of the scapegoat and puts it on as they felt so much pain just from wearing it , but as a soul that has faced the challenge against the erosion of time , he stands firm as Genesis turns dark from the sins .
" COUNT I'M OVER HERE " El yelled ensuring that Count had their towards them " You don't have to yell " Count whispered as a yell could scare the whole world including their children " And that doesn't look like it's yours "
Smaller hands stretched out of the part that El hid behind as well as eyes to keep track of him , now bigger appendages of Count reached down as eyes opened upon reaching the ground and arms reached out to grab the skull .
El kept the skull as he raised Genesis again ' What is he gonna do this time ' Count felt something burning hit their back as they turned to see smaller stars and a sun beam striking them , They moved back from the planet to avoid it and felt the gas giants try to suffocate them .
' this brings so many memories of every lives' experience in near death ' many celestial bodies barraged Count as the sun blasted the moon with its light and reflected it with greater width but lesser power , but it was enough to force Count to close their eyes and lose sight of El again .
" Urg What is wrong with that guy ? I'm really going to kill you El " El was surprised to see how Count was provoked by the sun as they wondered what kind of thoughts they were having about blaming him .
Count returned to the planet as they started dropping small copies of souls and controlling them to find El " You don't have to look Count " Nobody heard this voice as El had directed it to Count .
The small beings gathered as they ran after the direction the last two thorns on the knuckle guard glowed as life formed around El taking no soul but a thread connecting to the last two thorns to each lifeform as they attacked the lifeforms Count made .

Karma looks at Le as he consults with Lucifer on how to kill him ' Since Le is a tool to get rid of the ancient evil which is Count , I have to taunt him into fighting me " " But I don't think you should "
' I know but I'm trying to do this so that he doesn't go after Count , if Count is weak enough then maybe it would be terrible , I already looked around its soul and found that it will dissolve once its objective is fulfilled it seems to have a defense against being spied on "
" So do you know what the objective is ? " ' Probably kill the ancient evil it is assessing me , he doesn't take everything to heart as he can judge it so I just have to convince him that I am the ancient evil "
Lucifer was curious about what the ancient evil is as Karma heard his curiosity ' Are you curious , why Count is called the ancient evil ? " " You don't have to answer that " ' Why ? El is taking care of things down there , he needs to save everyone and if he accidentally gets caught he'll at least do his best to avoid dying "
" But what if he dies " ' Lucifer " Karma said with a higher volume ' Forcing El down to save the world is the only way to convince him to not just to die in Count's hands , plus Reed is down there outside meaning COunt has to slow down , Count will spot them and if they don't , Reed has god's shield and Isir to notify Count to be careful "
" I'm just worried that father will die " ' Regreting that now is pointless and I'm just here to get rid of the last thing that's gonna get in the way of the new world that I'm gonna make "
Karma released Lucifer from his soul giving him a push as Karma pulls out a death scythe and raised it at Lucifer who felt strange .
Seeing Karma about to kill him after saying that he wants to clear everything that will get in the way of the world he wants to create made Lucifer think fast , it was like his life flashed before his eyes but instead of memories coming to him he was thinking of "why" .
Why did Karma do this ? Did Karma just relish the moment when he made Lucifer realised that Karma had never intended to let any angels live ? Is that why he bought Lucifer close to him , so that he as the greatest angel could easily be killed ?
Why did Karma choose this place specifically ? Maybe it's because he could blame the death of Lucifer on Le who was meant to kill the ancient evil or as Le mentioned the devil which Lucifer was ?
Is Karma gonna hunt down all the angels after this , did god being unable to see the future cause Karma to be assured that he could execute the plan of killing all the angels , was the disaster that Karma flooded into the bowl meant to kill all beings who didn't share blood with Karma or the fae ?
There were so many questions that Lucifer answered which the path Karma would take as soon as Lucifer died fulfilling the objective of Le which was the death of the ancient evil and spreading the word that the battle came to a close with Lucifer's sacrifice .
Lucifer could tell this was certainly Karma's style , the use of vague words that gave a truth but not the whole truth forcing people to spread the words of the assumed truth .
Lucifer closes his eyes to welcome death as a sword breaks the attack and destroys the fake scythe . Lucifer tumbles to the ground surprised to hear the sound of the scythe breaking " So that wasn't your objective "
Le stood between Karma and Lucifer as Karma asked " From the looks of it you have terrible senses I was doing that to test the waters but to think you would react to it , it must mean either Lucifer wasn't the devil or your objective wasn't to let him die "
" Count what was that ? " Lucifer couldn't shake the emotions of betrayal so easily " Sorry about that Lucifer but I had to make sure you believed I was gonna betray you , the fact that Le hasn't continued attacking me means one of your objectives was to ensure an angel like Lucifer is safe "
Karma thinks of what kind of implications this could mean as Le who was standing still means that Le doesn't react to being figured out " I think I get it , the seal on the throne was meant to be kept as long as god is alive , so maybe the reason why you a perfect copy exist is to remain an image , Count would then realize that you aren't El because of their ability to see souls "
He thinks of what he found in the seal of god guessing further " Maybe that's why there is a timed seal , it was meant so that Count can calm down a little bit oh this El is such a genius " Karma also praised himself for figuring this plan out .
" Alright then , let's see if you have the objective of fighting the ancient evil " Karma's soul expands as he releases the mass of memories and they reveal well-interconnected cells of memories on the surface .
" You're the ancient evil " Le said as Karma's body grew bigger . Le grips on a copy of Genesis uses the first thorn as he melded together with the darkness and the power of the second to send Lucifer somewhere safer .
Karma takes the memories of El ' There is no objective about these memories ' Lucifer watched Karma reveal the true mass of his soul as he finally reached into a giant with images as a mouth opens between the cells of memories " Now little god let's fight "
A branch stretches out to grab Le by surprise as he teleports out of Karma's hand " This is gonna end with me " Karma said as he looked at Le using the fourth thorn as small stars fall from the skies and strike Karma's soul .
Karma created monsters out of his soul as Le used the blade itself and made first sphere angels appear " Isn't this a bit too much ? " Le also added the power of the first and fourth thorns making the angels fuse into a giant flaming angel with numerous wings as it feels the sky .
" That's crazy " the size of the angel was greater than the first sphere's area but lesser than the second as Karma dug through the ground they were standing on and devoured the eroded souls that make it .
" Urg this is disgusting " Karma creates an arrow pointing out of his mouth , Lucifer was wondering what the real ancient evil looked like , on one side he was sure that Le was just someone controlling it which makes it worse as a giant eye with wheels around it that is attached to wings with several eyes and then Karma who was a giant tree-like being with varying types of cells made of other's memories .
Appendages sprouted out of Karma from thin to thick , straight to crooked and finally each filled with mouths as they breath the very air of this realm as if there was air , while Le was busy fighting the monsters going for the last few ones .
" What is this ? " Lucifer questioned , he watched the mouths close as he couldn't sense anything in his mouth as he opened it in a vacuum . Le's blade brightened as the eye started charging an attack on Karma's arrow .
Both attacked each other as Le teleported to protect Lucifer and Karma was left to defend himself from the collision of pure souls and fragmented souls . Le looks around as his eyes brighten to see if there was anything left from their battle .
" It's safe now Lucifer " Le said surprising Lucifer who looked at the giant corpse with white feathered wings and a giant arrow that struck the giant eye " This place is safe for you now " Le calmed Lucifer down as he looked at Le who had released his hold on the genesis copy .
" What happened ? " " The ancient evil is defeated now , please wait until the real me appears " The surrounding ground starts to shake as Le was devoured by Karma " Good that's all I need to know "
Karma digested Le as he returned to his human form surprising Lucifer " What how ? " " The ground we have been standing on is actually souls that are processed very well to be turned into what it is now "
Lucifer was surprised how Karma survived " It's kinda like the memories there but it was turned to this black stuff because it was extracted out of anything that could make it a self " " How do you know that ? "
" I have Count's memories , they used to live off of these memories and only entertained themself through the eyes of living beings , it's like dirt , but eventually the memories became a flavorful fruit some are bitter but at least not bland like these "
Lucifer didn't understand Karma's way of describing the black matter " Oh come on , you never ate anything ? " " No after years in heaven , nothing suited my taste " " How pitiful " Karma grabs the sword of Genesis looking at the six thorns and the giant blade .
" Neat sword " Karma ignites a black flame admiring it before letting the Genesis copy float at his back as he walks to where they came from " What is this place exactly ? " " Maybe a realm so close to the perfect astral realm but not entirely " " What's that black fire you burned on the sword "
" Pure animal instinct I made it from the black stuff in this realm " " What ? " " It's a primal instinct that early lifeforms have : multiply , grow , survive and etc. they are basic instincts made so that life can continue and this realm is filled with all of that "
Lucifer looks at the corpse that is going further and further " What about that thing ? " " What do you want me to do ? " " I thought you would consume it ? " " No need I'll come back later for that right now I'm pretty full with eating that fake copy of the copy of god "
