24 hours on the road Thomas drove him and his new friends along with their family to Texas. Unaware that he may be luring lost Turned ones and Dirt Devils and maybe some Virasaurs or worse the new formation of the beasts and all of the things together. He saw everyone asleep still. He called Madison. rrringg! rrringg! the phone went on the other end. "Hold on let me answer this." Madison said. She picked her phone up seeing Thomas's name. She answered thinking it was someone who found his body at least. "Madison. Where are you?" She heard Thomas's voice. She is so excited and in shock she fainted.

"Hello." Zak said. "Oh hi Zak. Zak hey where are you?" Thomas said. "We're not far off a town called Hebbronville in a large house. It's real nice here." He said. "Nice to here it. I'm here in Texas. I'll be there as soon I can." Thomas said. Everyone is sleeping in the back and so is Carl. One of the family members woke up yawning. Sofia is up. "I don't know if you should come. If you do things may be more dramatic here." Zak said. "What do you mean by that?" Thomas said. "Well she just fainted after hearing your voice, and I found my daughter as one of The Turned, Kayla and ghost are really getting along well." Zak said. "Well I'm sorry for your a double loss then. It's nice to hear about Kayla. I'll explain everything how I survived later when I get there to the house. Okay." Thomas said through the phone. "Okay Thomas see you then." Zak said. "Bye and be safe." Thomas said to him. "Oh wait Thomas one more thing be careful. Some of The Turned may have survived the fall of the plane from a little incident earlier." Zak said. Thomas sighed. "Okay then I'll be careful well bye" Thomas said hanging up.

"Who was that?" Sofia said. "It was supposed to be girlfriend but it was mostly a friend of mine." He said to her. "We must be careful. The Turned have survived a fall off a plane while my family and friend made it here but don't worry we're not far from the place now." Thomas said. "Okay." Sofia came to the front sitting on the passenger seat. "So what do those Dirt Devils and Virasaurs look like anyway?" She asked. Thomas got flashbacks having terrible memories coming back to him. "I uuh. I don't really want to talk about it." He said. He stayed quiet and so did Sofia. "Okay fine. The Dirt Devils they have eyes. They use them when they come out of the ground. Their skin looks like rough reptilian skin. They have three frills on their backs like Godzilla. The beak it's black it covers they dirt from getting in its mouth and it also helps that get through with their frills. Sometimes when they come up you can see the frills like a shark and its fin. The Virasaurs they resemble a crocodile same as the big ones the Dirt Devils they have frills on their back the Virasaurs use their two sharp teeth to give their prey venom into them and the venom acts like a virus. The venom is what caused all this. Someone must've thought they killed it and in the last seconds the Virasaur lived it bite him not getting rid of the body it escaped as a Turned one and that person must've spread it." He said to Sofia. "Wow must be terrifying." She said. "It was I try to forget it but can't really. Our mind is like a repeating record sometimes you know." He said to her. "I see." She said.

The car broke down. "No no no no no. We're out of gas." Thomas said. "That was our last gallon." Harry said waking up. "Well than I guess we walk." Said Sofia. "You kidding. I'm not stepping a foot down off this car." Thomas said. "Come on there's no Turned, Virasaurs, Dirt Devils, or those flying things. We're safe." Harry said. "Fine. I came this far I can't give up now." Thomas said. "We'll need to unload the trunk with the weapons at least. We can wait for the water. For now we just grab the weapons and go." Thomas said. "Okay."Said Harry. Everyone got out and walked. "Thomas here take this." Carl said giving Thomas a sword. "Thanks." He said putting it from the armrest on his back.
"So how far away is the house?" Harry asked. "Just ten minutes away." Thomas said.

Bbvvrr. The dirt went as a Dirt Devil came close. "Hold on stop stop stop." Said Thomas said. "What? What is it?" Carl said. "I feel like something is watching us." He said looking around. Behind him on the left he saw frills. He a Dirt Dragon. "Shoot one them followed us. Run. Go... go... run I said Run!" Said Thomas. Everyone followed him. The Dirt Dragon soon followed them. "Go go go!" Thomas said. "Hault!" Carl said. "Turned straight ahead coming from the Trees on the side. "Shoot. Damn it! We're trapped." Carl said. "No were not. I have a plan. If we run through the herds before they meet the dirt dragon will get confused. Well have a chance to get to the house before the herds meet." Tom said. "Sounds good." Carl said. "You crazy!" Harry said. "We have no other option except death by one of these things so what will it be." Said Thomas to Harry. "Running through the herds it is." Harry said. "Okay then everyone Go!" Thomas said. Everyone ran. Taking fire and knifing every Turned one that got close to them. "Go right!" Thomas shouted. "You sure?!" Shouted Carl. "Yes go Trust me!" He said aloud. Everyone followed Carl. They reached a place of dark as they saw a house with light. A couple of them in front it. "That's the house go in it." Thomas said once they escaped the Dirt Dragon and Turned.

Meanwhile
The Dirt Dragon ate as much as it could out of the herd. When it did it had ate too much and moved out. The Turned soon split up and went down the road as others went back in in the trees.

Some of The Turned found the house. "Everyone in now." Thomas said. A Turned one came to close to Thomas and he cut its head vertically in half with a sword that Carl gave him when unloading the trunks. Some of the blood spattered on his face and chest. He quickly turned back and ran in the house.
He made it back with his own family and Zak.

"Thomas! Yay! I thought you died. Don't you ever do that again." Said Madison running over and giving him a hug. Everyone in the house was surprised to the shock that Thomas made it back safely to them.

"Ma-mom. Wait Thomas." Kayla said. She ran and hugged him too. He is glad he made it. "You must be Thomas's friend Zak." Carl said. "Yup." Emily and William saw Ghost. Ghost wasn't sure about the kids but when she softened up during Thomas's adventure she trusted the newcomers.
Everyone became heartfelt yet in seconds it turned to terror. TSS! Glass broke. A Virasaur broke in. Making it's terrible hissing sound to a growl it crawled to Thomas. Again like last time it leaped. "Not again." Holding it Thomas did the Virasaur spat it's saliva on his face. It bit him barely. Ghost jumped on it attacking it. Biting into it thrashing around breaking a couple objects Ghost held its mouth down she bit a piece of skin out of its head a soft spot.
"Let me at it." Thomas said. Maddie knew what he is doing got and grabbed what he needed. "Thank you." Thomas said. He finally got the antidote. "Great I got it." He said. He injected it inside of him. "Get him on the bed." Zak said.
Everyone did.
"Woah." The kids went saying to Ghost.
"Someone get the window." Madison said. "On it." Said Zak.
Finally a little rest came to the group and especially to Thomas.
