“Hello.”
Kanita was surprised to see Aunt Dari standing before her.
“I prepared lunch for you already.”
“What time is it?” Kanita said.
“It is twelve now.”
“Oh!” Kanita unlocked her eyes. “Thank you.”
Aunt Dari didn’t say anything more, she left the trolley before the bed and went out of the room.
Kanita dropped her feet on the floor. She touched her head gently and yawned a few times before she went off to the bathroom.
During the shower, the girl thought about last night's experience. It was like a dream, a nightmare dream but there was something popped up in her head; she just was not sure what it was about.
After cleaning body and changing dress, Kanita went to her lunch and ate it quietly. When she finished it, Aunt Dari came in.
“I think you should go out. You should have a plan before you choose to come here,” she said.
“Yes.” Kanita nodded. “Can you recommend me?”
“You can talk to Mok,” Aunt Dari said while pulling the trolley to the door, “He has worked as a driver for more than twenty years. He knows more places than I do but you have to arrive before 6pm.”
“Thanks.”

In the yard, in the car with the door open, Mok sat in the front seat, reading the newspaper.
Kanita walked towards him, “Are you free?”
“Yes, yes Miss.” Mok hurriedly put the newspaper down. “I am free all the time for your command.”
“I don't know where I should go and Aunt Dari said you can help me.”
“Well, tell me first what you want.”
Kanita gave a briefing about her project. Mok thought for a while then he said, “I think that place is right for your project.”
Hearing that, Kanita was glad. She went up to the car and Mok switched on the machine then they left immediately.
From the door, Aunt Dari was standing silently and her eyes focused on the gate. When the car left, the gate moved slowly, closed by itself. Though she saw it, she didn’t say a word and she remained stone faced. As the gate closed completely, she turned her body and walked into the house. When she passed the round pillar, she paused her feet. There was someone standing behind her, she knew it but she didn’t look back and she seemed to not be afraid of it.47Please respect copyright.PENANAD7fY6I4Jx5
“Don’t be harsh on the girl. She is just a guest,” she said.
Then that someone disappeared but before they were gone, they said a loud voice like a human screamed when they were angry.

Talking about Kanita, she was taken to meet a village, pretty far from the maison. She stayed there, talking with the villagers happily till Mok reminded her to go back.47Please respect copyright.PENANA0MCxdBf1Fn
On the way back, Kanita sat in her seat quietly. Her face showed that she was worried. Yes, she was worried, she was worried and was thinking about what she would meet tonight.47Please respect copyright.PENANASdXLh5YOmy
With all these expressions, Mok could sense what was on her mind. He then tried to cheer her up. “Everything will be fine, Miss,” he said.47Please respect copyright.PENANANc4Yrnd0pb
“Well,” Kanita turned to look at him, “can I ask you age?”
“This year I am fifty five.”
“Wow, but you look strong.”
Mok smiled, “Thank you.”
“Is it your hometown?”
“Yes.”
“Do you live near the maison?”
“About four kilometers away.”
“How long have you worked in that house?”
“About three years.”
“What's about Aunt Dari?”
“I’m not sure, but I heard it has been many years.”
“Is she the owner of the house?”
“No, she is a friend of the owner of the house.”
“Where is the owner?”
“Well...” Mok paused. He seemed hesitant to talk about it. “She is..dead.”
“Oh.” Kanita opened eyes. She wanted to ask more but Mok stated, “I don't know the details. Only Aunt Dari knows it.” Hearing that, she decided to stop her mouth and returned to silence.47Please respect copyright.PENANAPdHl7zOPfP
