"We should not wait, Grandmaster. We should rush to help Xiao Xingchen," Xue Yang said impatiently.
"He will not hurt Xiao Xingchen before the full moon night! Xiao Xingchen should be pure(virgin) for the ritual to be completed.We will have to find some way to stop Ni Min Ju from drinking his blood, or else he will kill all the people after becoming powerful. The entire world will be upside down; even power comes in his hand." saying this the Grandmaster went to the library to search the way they could save the world and Xiao Xingchen.
Xue Yang kowtowed the Grandmaster and went back to his room.
"Please wait for me, Xiao Xingchen. I will come to save you." Xue Yang clutched the locket in his palms while looking at the bright moon.
On the other hand,
Xiao Xingchen, locked in his room, looked at the Moon and said, "Xue Yang!! Please come soon. I am waiting."
A cool breeze passed the curtains and through Xiao Xingchen's hair's as if they were sending him Xue Yang's message to stay strong.
While his long wavy hair and curtains flew in the same flow, Xiao Xingchen kept staring at the Moon.
In the hidden chamber of the palace where the ritual was to be performed:-
"My Lord!! Full Moon Night is coming in 2 days. We have prepared everything but are you sure Xiao Xingchen is pure?" asked the elderly minister (who was there to perform the ritual) reluctantly.
"You have to look into that," yelled Ni Min Ju at the two physicians.
"Ok!! My Lord," they kowtowed, went into Xiao Xingchen's room to make sure he was pure.
They examined Xiao Xingchen's purity and left the room, confirming to the King that he was pure.
Xiao Xingchen was there left naked on the bed; felt devastated at his state. Their filthy touch made him feel more miserable to the point that he stood up; robe hanging on his body and went straight to the window and yelled, "I WANT TO DIE!! PLEASE KILL ME" and got down on his knees crying badly and every tear was burning like hell.
His eyes were swollen after so much crying; with every passing second, his hope was breaking all over again.
He lay on the bed, all curled up silent and saw the dagger lying on the floor, which still had the King's blood on it. He kept staring at the dagger and shrank his eyes, which were full of tears, and his mind started playing all the bad moments of his life.
His mind was saying, "My Dad got killed because of Me, I will be the reason for the death of thousand's of lives, My Mother died saving me(He didn't know that his mom was alive)" The dark thoughts occupied his minds.
He opened his swollen eyes and dragged himself towards the stagger. He lifted it and thought to himself that he deserves to die.
He moved the stagger towards his wrist, nearing the vein.
Suddenly, Xue Yang jumped in through the window and threw the stagger away, and hugged Xiao Xingchen tightly enough to make him suffocate.
** Back Story while King was in the hidden chamber
Ministers came rushing to the King, informing him about the battle nearby. Rowan Clan and Birch Clan have been a rivalry for a very long time.
Rowan Clan is planning to conquer the Birch Clan, so they attack cryptically. King ordered his best man to come along with him as he rushed towards the battlefield.
Rowan Clan was good friends with the Maple Clan, and Xue Yang asked Maple Clan King to help them rescue Xingchen by diverting King's attention from Xingchen.
Xue Yang used this opportunity to rescue Xingchen from the Palace.

Xingchen froze and started crying as loudly as possible because he had lost all hope to live and thought that maybe Xue Yang would not come to rescue him.
The guards knew that Xingchen had been crying all day and night. They banged on the door and yelled at him to Shut his mouth.
Xue Yang asked Xingchen to calm down but unable to calm Xingchen.
He kissed Xingchen's soft lips to try out if he calm's down by this.
To his amazement, Xingchen sobered up, reciprocated his kiss, and hugged him tightly.
"I am Sorry, I am late, but I could not do anything that would alert the King," he whispered as the guards were just outside the door.
"Do you know I am..." Xue Yang stopped him in the middle and completed his sentence, "A Hybrid."
"Yes, I know everything. Let's first find a way to sneak out; Grandmaster has planned everything, and here is the locket; wear it. The Grandmaster has sealed the locket with some spiritual power, which will help us get out of the palace."
"Where are your clothes? Why are you only in the robes? Did the King hurt you?" Xue Yang said in an angry tone whilst his jaw will start clenching.
He explained the physicians touched his private part to check if he was pure or not, and also they took advantage of this and touched him inappropriately, making him feel more vulnerable. He kept his face down while saying this as he felt ashamed of himself.
Xue Yang kept calm while keeping his anger suppressed. Xiao Xingchen wore his clothes, and they were now ready to head out.
They sneaked out of the room and hid beside a pillar. They had to cross the way, which was open to all sides, and the turn was dark, so it would have been impossible for them to escape if anybody came in front of them. So they waited there to find some way.
The two physicians stood in the middle of the pavement and started talking, "Xingchen was so good I wanted more of him, Only if the King were not after him, I would have really taken his purity then and there. He looked so delicious." They laughed and left.
Xingchen felt ashamed and could not show his face to Xue Yang. Xue Yang was angry and suppressed his anger by clutching his sword tightly.
"I forgot something," said Xue Yang and asked Xingchen to wait for him.
After some time, Xue Yang joined in. Did you find it?
Xue Yang questioned him back, "Did anybody passed by?"
"No."
Xue Yang and Xingchen passed the pavement silently and were soon outside. The Cart was waiting for them; they hopped in and were on their way back.
Xingchen sighed as if he was alive again and leaned on Xue Yang's shoulder while tightly holding his hand.
Hey!! Your hand is bleeding, Xingchen said concernedly.
While Xingchen was covering his wound with a cloth, Xue Yang smiled and smirked, "It's not my blood; It's the blood of those two bastards!!"
Xingchen started bombing him with his lectures. Xue Yang pulled him and started kissing him.
Xingchen's eyes were wide open. He kept staring at Xue Yang while still kissing him; after some time, he closed his eyes and reciprocated his Kiss.
Xingchen suddenly realized that they had been riding for too long.
"Where are we going, Xue Yang?"
"To the Maple Clan. It's not safe for you here now."
"We have reached!! " said the cart puller.
They had to cross the dark forest as the road was not suitable for the cart, so they had to cover the rest of the path by walking.
Xue Yang jumped out.Xingchen was about to keep his foot down on the ground but Xue Yang carried him in his arms and started walking.
"Xue, Yang!! Put me down; what are you doing? Somebody will see us."
"Nobody will see us!! Just stay silent."
While Xue Yang was carrying Xingchen, Xingchen felt as if the whole world stopped. a Cool breeze was passing through Xue Yang's hairs. The sky was full of stars, and there was a pinned drop silence.
Only Xue Yang's footsteps passing through the dry leaves were audible.
Xingchen fell in love with him all over again. He was guilty of not expressing his love earlier.
"Xue Yang, put me down, please!!! "
Xue Yang could not disagree with the innocent pleading eyes, so he allowed Xingchen to walk on his own.
Soon!! After a long walk, they reached Maple Palace.
Servants were there ready to serve them. They took Xingchen to Xue Yang's room and helped him change and clean.
When Xingchen dived into the hot bathtub, his whole body felt relaxed. After all that humiliation and torture, he could finally spend some time in relaxation.
He closed his eyes while the warm water soothed his skin.
Xue Yang came into the room all changed and ready to sleep. His room had two queen-sized beds, so It was okay for them to sleep in the same room separately.
Xue Yang was wide awake, but he acted sleeping as did not want Xingchen to feel uncomfortable.
Xingchen came out and looked at Xue Yang. Not knowing that Xue Yang was still awake. He sat near Xue Yang's bed, moving his lips close to his cheeks. Xue Yang could smell his fruity and fresh fragrance, making it difficult for Xue Yang to hold back. Xingchen kissed him on the cheeks and went to his bed.
Xue Yang sighed as soon as Xingchen went back to his bed.
"What if somebody took him away from his bed?" Xue Yang thought, so when Xingchen was in his deep sleep, he slept next to Xingchen without disturbing his sleep.
Xingchen turned in his sleep and hugged Xue Yang.
"Only you are not the only one good at pretending to sleep," Xingchen said while he looked him straight into his eyes and Kissed him.
Xue Yang was startled, and they both had a long and deep Kiss. Being exhausted, they both fell asleep whilst their lips touching each other.
