*** Some of the secrets only King knew ***
There was an owl that was keeping an eye on Xingchen. Chang Min(Minister of Ni Min Ju) made the owl from his magical powers.
When the King went to the battle, King instructed Chang Min to keep an eye on Xingchen. The owl informed Chang Min when Xue Yang took Xingchen out of the palace, and thus, he got to know where Xingchen was. But keeping himself calm, he decided not to rush and wait for King's instruction before attacking Xue Yang. *****
**** In the Birch Clan *****
Chang Min locked Xingchen in the room. King came back to the palace. His footsteps were approaching the room. He bashed into the room and towards Xingchen.
He grabbed his shoulders, pulling him roughly against him, and kissed his lips in a demanding way that roused more anger than anything else. Xingchen's lips started bleeding.
King looked at the bloody lips and then Xingchen eyes which were depicting that he was in pain, and licked the blood from his lips; he then threw him in anger and went out of the room.
King's elderly, who was to perform the ritual, came in and filled a bottle with Xingchen's blood.
When everybody went away, Xingchen stood up more robust than before and looked at the bottle of poison he had kept hidden near his bed.
**** Same time in the Maple Clan *****
Xue Yang woke up holding his head as he felt dizziness and saw Grandmaster and Ju Yi(Xue Yang's best friend and one of the most profound disciples) standing in front of him.
"Xingchen gave you the sleeping pills so that he can surrender himself to Chang Min. He knew that you would not allow that so he gave you those sleeping pill" said Ju Yi.
Xue Yang said, "What will we do now? King will kill him."
"Xingchen found the solution," said Ju Yi and handed him the booklet, which he found lying down on the floor in the underground library.
Xue Yang read the book and yelled, "He will not drink poison. I will not let him do this" and threw the book on the ground. Ju Yi calmed him down and said, "We will save him. Let's first head to the palace before it's too late."
They both kowtowed the Grandmaster and left.
Xue Yang and Ju Yi reached Birch Palace, knocked down two servants, and disguised themselves as the servants.
They looked around to search for Xingchen. They went to the same room where Ni Min Ju had captured him earlier, but he was not there.
They found the King's room. It was a massive room with a vast bookshelf beside a Big Photo Frame of the King. Ju Yi, by mistake, dragged the photo frame, and the secret door opened, which had stairs into the dark hallway.
They both looked at each other and carefully walked down the stairs and found themselves in a dark place. The moonlight was visible from the room's corner; a bed laid just near the window and candles around the bed. On the side of the bed, there was a sign.
"What's this sign?" asked Xue Yang.
"It's the sign of eternity. There is a whole book about this. This sign of eternity redirects the evil energy towards itself. It is prohibited to use such a sign for practice as it can be dangerous. King has already prepared everything. Tomorrow is the Full Moon Night. The ritual will be performed at exactly midnight when the new day starts, and the old day ends."
They suddenly heard somebody coming downstairs and hid in the darkest corner of the chamber.
Elderly Minister came down with a small bottle in his hand. The bottle was transparent, and it was clear that it was the Xingchen's blood inside that bottle. He threw the blood droplets on the sign while chanting.
"Xingchen's blood!!!" Xue Yang said worriedly.
Ju Yi calmed him and said, "Don't rush or worse can happen. We still do not know where Xingchen is."
They stood there and watched everything happening.
*** In the room where King hid Xingchen****
The servants were dressing Xingchen in a beautiful red dress. The way the servant's wrapped the dress around him, he was going to cover the death around him.
"You are fortunate that King wants to marry you. I would have just did anything to marry him but poor me. He is a lot more interested in men than in women. Look at you; you have smooth skin, Pretty eyes, Soft lips, and sleek hair. You are perfect for our King."
"But? What about the Heir?" said the second servant. Can men give birth to a child?
"You Don't know our King? He will find some way to pregnant him. I have also heard that males can give birth to a child, but it's an excruciating process. One has to lose all his spiritual power to give birth to a child, which can even result in death."
Listening to the servant's gossip, Xingchen got a little worried and thought, "What if the poison did not work on the King?"
Chang Min entered and asked servants to go, if Xingchen was ready. Servant's left. Chang Min walked towards Xingchen, same way as the tiger moves to catch its prey slowly with hunting eyes.

Xingchen was scared; his heart wanted Xue Yang to jump out of somewhere and save him, but he knew that Xue Yang had lost his family because of him and did not want to hurt him anymore. He locked the door and looked himself into the mirror all dressed in a beautiful hnafu and opened the drawer where he had kept the bottle of poison wrapped in a red cloth.
While he stared at the bottle, his mind played all the lovely moments he spent with Xue Yang and said to himself, " Xue Yang, even though I had lovely terse moments with you, I am blessed to have a person like you who loved me, protected me and gave me an experience of what love and care is. I am sorry I could not return that love and became the reason for your parent's death." A tear came running from Xingchen's eye and fell on the bottle.
He broke down and cried while hugging the bottle of poison and cursed himself, saying, "I should not have been born. My parent's died saving me; King and Queen died saving me. Everybody will die if King drink's my blood. I am just a sign of bad luck. I deserve to die,". Xue Yang's bunny face, his kissing, the way he picked him up that night all reflected via the bottle of poison.
Xingchen opened the cap and said, "Xue Yang, I hope you can forgive me for this" and drank the whole bottle of poison and hid the bottle.
The Poison reaction started; Xingchen felt a burning sensation inside his chest. He kept shifting between a human and a vampire. He felt suffocating, and a dark aura surrounded him choking him. He felt a lot of pain in the stomach, and he fainted.
*** In the Hidden Chamber *****
"Where is the King?" Xue Yang and Ju Yi asked each other as they were anxiously waiting there for the King.
They heard the footsteps. They thought it was the King, but Chang Min was holding Xingchen in his arms to their shock. Xingchen was lying unconscious.
He kept Xinchen on the bed with face below the moonlight coming from the window and sign near him such that he was in the center of the sign and moonlight.
"You dare must not have gulped that poison Xingchen" Xue Yang worry was all reflected on his face.
Ju Yi knew that he drank the poison as the tip of his fingers turned blue, but he did not want Xue Yang to worry, so he lied to him and convinced him that Xingchen is ok.
Xingchen opened his eyes slowly and found himself facing the moonlight and a sign onto his right side. He found himself lying on the bed with Chang Min and the elderly master on his left side.
As soon as he woke up, Elder master slit his neck a little bit so that King could quickly drink the blood.
"Aaaahhh!!" exclaimed Xingchen in pain.
Xue Yang could not bear it and jump and attacked , Chang Min immediately counter-attacked with his spiritual power.
Xue Yang's anger was reflecting all over his face. He held his sword tightly, and he was just like a beast ready to kill anybody who comes's in his way.
Xue Yang was about to hit the wall, but Ju Yi's spiritual power saved him.
Xingchen was shocked to see Xue Yang. Chang Min immediately guarded the place with his spiritual power so that nobody tries to save Xingchen.
Chang Min is as powerful as both of them, so they were severely injured in the fight.
Xue Yang, please go Xingchen yelled at Xue Yang while crying.
Ju Yi and Xue Yang combined their power's to fight Chang Min, but Chang Min absorbed their energy.
"Oh, No!! Xue Yang, stop fighting now. He will absorb our spiritual energy and make us weak."
Xue Yang stopped and said, "Now What? Accept our defeat and let them have Xingchen no way."

Chang Min pushed him to the corner of the chamber and Xue Yang was now too weak to fight and vomited blood and Ju Yi was holding him.
Xue Yang stood up with blood still dripping from the lips and held his sword tightly looking Chang Min with angry eyes.
Chang Min grinned at Xingchen and said " Your Lover is too stubborn, Let's send him to his parents."
They both concentrated their spiritual power's.
Seeing all this Xingchen squeezed his eyes full of tears and screamed, "Xue Yang!!".
Suddenly, powerful red energy mixed with Xue Yang's spiritual energy directed towards Chang Min. He could not handle the power and died on the spot.
Xingchen fainted. Xue Yang and Ju Yi shockingly looked at Xingchen. They both looked at each other, not able to understand what happened.
The elderly master held unconscious Xingchen and, using his spiritual power, vanished.
