Luke held his sword at the ready as the figure jumped out of the tree.
When the figure landed, he saw immediately that she was a girl. Her dark brown hair was pulled back in a long braid, and she had fair skin. When she opened her eyes, it surprised Luke that they were a golden yellow.
She wore a silvery tunic, black pants and knee-high boots.
Luke stood there, captivated by this mysterious, gorgeous girl. With the sunlight behind her, she looked like an angel.
Until she kicked him right in the chest.
The kick sent him on his back, knocking the wind out of him. He opened his eyes to see she had already nocked an arrow and had it pointing right between his eyes.
The girl's eyes narrowed as she studied his face, then whispered, "You're not who I expected."
"Huh?"
Her brow creased as she stared at his face for a moment longer, then stood and slowly released the taunt string, putting the arrow back in its quiver and the bow on her back. Then she pulled out a staff.
"Hey, who-"

Plus he wasn't a sweet talker, God forbid.
The girl held her staff at the ready, looking around as if she'd heard something.
A tree branch cracked, and Luke immediately drew his sword.
The girl glanced at his sword, and nodded. They'd need to defend themselves if there was any danger.
They waited for a moment, so tense and silent that you could've heard a pin drop.
Then Luke heard a sound and whipped his head around. A man with a black and purple uniform with a black mask walked boldly forward, a sword in his hand.
The girl heard him too, as she turned and raised her staff.
"What do you want from us?" Luke asked boldly, trying to keep the uneasiness out of his voice.
The man just simply held up his hand, his palm facing them. Then, with his other hand, he pushed his pointer and ring finger down, and put them up to his mouth.
"Oh no," the girl whispered.
"What?"
She was about to explain when 10 other men arrived, dressed in the same uniforms as the man before, and they all were holding swords...
