Tomorrow is August 12th, the mother’s day(In Thailand)
The school is diligently preparing for this event.
“What do they usually do in mother day?”
Boom asked, while eating spicy mango salad at the nurse office backyard.
“This is a question?” Chompoo speak sarcastically.
“This motherfucker didn’t care a single shit. Don’t blame him”
“Ok ok, They usually….Uh….”
“You just insulting me and you don’t even know what they do, I’Poo you bastard”
“Fuck you, I’m sorry, ok?”
“Treat me a meal and I might consider”
“You fucking son of a bitch…”
Before everything escalates any further. Tar bring out 2 bottles of sugar cane juice and handed it to Boom.
Boom gladly receive it. Make the situation calmed again.
“To be honest, I don’t know what they do in mother day, either”
“You too, Lifa?” Chompoo sighed.
‘This shit is funny’ Tar laughed before explaining everything.
First of all is go to the sport stadium, listen to some announcement, enter the auditorium, perform the ceremony as specified by the school and done.
All of this will be done by the afternoon.
“ “That’s it?“ “ Boom and Lifa said in unison.
“To be honest, I don’t know, either. I just remember from what they has told me”
Tar himself admitted that he didn’t care much about it either.
Because they thought that it’s an event that allows them to not study in class they don’t like.
Which is the science class and the buddhism class.
“Good, cuz I didn’t do my science homework yet”
“No one did, you idiot”
“Well duh, What the fuck even is that homework? 30+ page essay and all need to be done by tomorrow, fuck it”
There’s always one teacher who love to give their student a lot of homework that normally need a week to finished, but they want it done in a day instead. That’s a science teacher of 4/7 for you.
It make a lot of student hated them so much. Even a top notch student are try to avoid their face.
“So….”
“What’s up?”
Lifa mumbled and Boom respond back.
“I already finished it”
“ “ “What!?” “ “ The 3 of them said in unison.
A 30+ page essay are done in one night. No one would do that if they’re not an energetic one.
And the content that needs to be done is a lot too.
“Can I have a look?”
“Sure”
She bring it out and handed to Boom.
All of the cover, the illustration, the list of the contents, the introduction and even the bibliography. Plus the decorations are stupidly good. It can be said that this essay is perfect.
“You seriously do all of this in one night?”
“Yeah, I did it all by myself”
The face maybe smiling while she speak, But when look at Lifa eyes, It is clearly dark.
Lifa probably stayed up too late to working on this essay, Although Boom didn’t know her bedtime but he is certain that She probably slept less than 6 hour.
“I think I’m going to submit it after school”
“I could just copy this whole whing and change the name, to be honest”
“Boom, you son of a bitch”
Tar end with a scolding Boom before everyone returned to their class.

14:30 pm. Is when the school is over.
Each student went to their own way to either do an activities or go home.
“You seriously thought about this?”
“Yeah, I worked hard for this”
At the science building, Lifa asked Boom to come submit her work with her.
To be honest, When she called him, All of the classmate suddenly turned to look at him. Boom has no choice other than to come with her.
“I shouldn’t have came here…”
“Don’t worry, It just a little complain”
After successfully submit her work. Boom kept complaining because as soon as he enter the teacher room, he got complained about not submitting homework right away.
What’s the big deal It’s just a work from the beginning of the semester…Boom mumbled.
“Oh yeah, I won’t come to school tomorrow”
“What? Why?”
“Well, They not force me to, aren’t they?”
“You don’t want an extra score?”
“Nah, I have to take my mom on a trip with me”
Due to tomorrow is a mother’s day, Various of tourist attractions have hold an events in order to celebrate.
The school is well aware of this, therefore they does not force the student to attend the school event because the school are not that serious about this and they want all the student to spent their time with family more.
“I see, Have fun, then”
“What about you? Will you attend the event?”
“Yeah, I have to come, My parent are usually busy anyway”
Lifa said with cold face. From what he guessed, Lifa must have some kind of family problem because whenever someone mention about family, She’s always made this kind of facial expression.
Boom don’t want to dig any further, So he double tap her shoulder and say ‘Just don’t think about it too much’.
“Should we leave now? I’Lifa?”

“So, we’re going to the Nongnooch tropical garden?”
While eating dinner, Boom spoke while looking at the location information on the flyer.
“Yeah, Why?” Beam asked.
“Just curious, I’ll go fill up the gas tank”
“How much is left in the tank?”
“Half”
“…You forgot to fill up, didn’t you?” Tak asked.
Been planning since morning but completely forgot about the gas.
So after finish eating, Boom will go fill up the tank so they won’t have to do it tomorrow. Due to Chai(Boom and Beam father)was running an errand with Boom’s bike. Causing him to go instead.
“Why don’t he use a car~ It just right around the corner”
Because it’s right around the corner, That’s why he don’t use a car.
Boom go outside and started the black SUV car to prepared to go to the gas station. If anyone wonder how can he know to drive a car. That’s because chai was the one who taught him since the middle school and this is the second times he’s drive on the main road.
The first time was 2 years ago when he almost overshoot a curve.
Put down a phone at the front and turn on that sick nightcore song!
“Wha?”
Less than a 50 meters drive. Boom saw Lifa standing and talking on a phone with a shaking expression.
“Hey” Boom said.
“? Boom? Where’re you going?”
“Fill up a gas tank, What about you?”
“Nothing, Just my mother called me”
Finished saying, Lifa face become more gloomy and tears appear in her eyes. Boom thought ‘I should not have asked…’.
“You want to…hang out with your mom?”
“…Yes, My parents are always busy. It’s normal for a one of the country richest person though”
Hahaha, Lifa laugh awkwardly.
He want to help but doesn’t know how, So he said he’ll bough her some gift.
“Wait…” suddenly Lifa called him.
“Can I go with you?”
“Wait wait wait, You can’t just ask to get into the car of a guy you’ve only know for a few months, y’know?”
“Why? You gonna do something to me?”
“Uh no…”
“Even if you do, You know that what will happen, don’t you?”
You don’t have to tell.
If there’s a news that the daughter of Mr.Dome was mistreated by one of the classmate. His life would be over.
Boom agreed to let her come with him, eventually.
“So, I want to tell you something”
“What? The thing you didn’t told me at the restaurant?”
“Yeah”
“Why though?, This is the type of thing should be told to someone you really trust”

Boom shocked by her words but he narrowed his eyes and said ‘Go ahead and tell me’
The story goes that Lifa was born into the family of a famous magnate who was well known throughout the country.
It easy to say that she is perfect in almost every way, whether it be her looks, assets, abilities and environment she grew up with.
Got to eat, sleep and play in such a luxurious mansion. Plus, She get to study in a top 50 school of this world. Her parents also expect her to be a successor of the business.
Her daily life is all about study, study and study, Hardly anything else. Not even in holidays.
Can be said that the expectations of parents and those around are very high.
It was so high that it’s considered impossible for a under 10 years old at the time.
The stress and pressure from people around her causing Lifa had a mental break down since she was a kid. This is not what children should experience at all.
When Lifa turned 12. She can’t handle the pressure anymore, resulting her to cry and runaway from her home and went alone in a lonely alley.
She stayed there for several hours, with no one there to help comforting her but there was one thing that saved her life.
It’s Nelly.
Nelly used to be a stray kitten who happened to walk up to Lifa.
She come to played with Lifa as if she though Lifa was its mother. It make Lifa regain her consciousness again.
Lifa walked back to home with Nelly in her arms.
She hoped to receive some help from her parents after returning home.
Little do she know, but this will be the beginning of the nightmare.
“Where have you been?” Dome said with cold voice.
“…..I’m sorry”
“I don’t want an apology, I want to know where have you been?”
“I…ran away”
Lifa stammered while lowering her head. She hopes her parents would forgive for her action and understand her current mental state.
“It is a waste of time, you know?”
“Yes, mother?”
“It’s wasting your study time, you know?”
The word from her mother mouth shocked Lifa.
They did not care at all whether she is alright or not. They only care about her study time.
“Also, where did that cat come from?”
‘meow’ Nelly mellow before hiding behind Lifa.
“I- I saw it dying so-”
“I don’t care, Just throw it away and go back to your study”
Dome said in a cold voice and walked away with her mother.
Lifa collapse on a floor and every maid immediately rushed to help her.
“Since then, I’ve tried to avoid my parents. After all, they don’t care about me”
After refueling. Boom stopped at a convenience store and listened to her stories.
Although it’s not so sad to the point of crying. But Boom listened intently and comforted her from time to time.
“So, you decided to mov here?”
“Correct, It’s really far from her”
“1 question though, Back there, Why did Nelly ran away from home?”
“Oh…My father came to visit that day”
Many month ago, Back when Lifa is arranging her house. Dome came to pay a visit.
“Hi, Lifa”
“…Hi”
The first word to his daughter is quite cold.
“You doing good?”
“Y Yes, Not too difficult —
“I mean your grade. You doing good about it?”
“……..Yes”
“Is that so? I’ll leave then. Staying here is a waste of time”
As Dome turned around, Nelly walked in.
“You still keep this stray cat?”
“S She’s not a stray cat!”
‘Watch your tone’ Dome turned around with a sharp look, causing Lifa to collapse.
“Hey you, Come with me”
‘Meow?’
Dome picked Nelly up with no mercy. Lifa tried to stop him. The maid were also there to help.
“Please, Father!”
“Just throw this damn thing away!”
‘MEOW!!!’
They argued for a while, Dome’s hand accidently flickered and Hit Nelly. Causing her to scared and run away.
“Nelly!”
Lifa rushed to the car and told the driver who’s still washing the car to immediately follow along.
As for Dome, He just sighed and walked to his own car and leave.
“That idiot really did that, huh?”
“You call my father ‘idiot?’”
“He’s being an idiot. Forcing his own daughter to just study like that and almost spend no time with you”
“Your kinda right…”
Lifa say with a slightly better face. Seems like Boom’s half-hearted words while driving have improved her mood somewhat.
Boom want her to forget all her sorrows. Because her face when she sad is like just knowing someone died.
“I’Li”
“?”
“Yes, you”
“Don’t make up my own nick name…”
“Screw it, You don’t have to go to school tomorrow”
Huh? Lifa stunned.
“Why?”
“You come with us, ok?”
“huh? For real?”
“Of course, I’Beam and my mom really wants you to join so bad”
“….You sure you don’t just want to comfort me?”
“Nah, just annoyed I’Beam, that’s all”
“Ho ho, Well then, I’ll go with you”
She laughed mischievously, Boom mumbled ‘Fucking annoying…’
