Boom is still sitting in a boring class. A Thai class to be exact.
He's just an ordinary 10th grade art program student in an ordinary public school. He recently turned 16 years old on July 4th but he didn't care that much and thought of it as nothing.
With a height of 182 cm and a weight of 70 kg. which he considers great, He has black hair and blue eyes, which are really unique in the school.
His grade is also not too shabby, either. Not too high nor too low, Just around an average.
'As long as I passed' is his motto. Boom has an introverted personality. Although he kinda dislike his distinctive eye color but it can't be helped.
He's currently in his standard Thai white shirt and black shorts school uniform. With an abbreviation of his school and his last name pronunciation is Su-ti-mat(สุธิมาติ), Not Su-mat as the others have called.
*jingle* The bell has rang meaning that the school is now over.
Today is Thursday, meaning there'll be a neighborhood market, in which he never plan to stopping by.
"I'Boom"
As he was about to walk out of the room, someone called out to him.
A brown high fade hairstyle, black eyes with a little annoying face(At least in Boom perspective). and in his hand is holding a can of cola.
This guy name is Tar. His only close friend in the class.
"You going home?" Asked Tar
"Yeah, You?"
"I have a band practice today. Might go home late"
"For real? Then, Good luck, buddy"
They know each other since middle school because their house are close to each other and they attend the same school. Tar is a guy with a slightly irritating personality but overall a good friend, and he is a member of a marching band because he liked to play musical instrument since he was a kid.
"Can you go buy some food while going back?"
"Why won't you go buy it yourself?"
"Dude, Do I look like I got time? You brought your bike to school today, right?"
"I haven't fill up my fucking gas tank yet, you idiot"
"C'mon, I'll pay for the gas and the food, see you at the usual place"
"Whatever"
In the end, Boom still had to stop by the local market anyway.
Boom walk to the school parking lot with a bored expression. His life didn't have anything exciting since middle school. Except when he summon a gacha in games.
As he start the engine, Boom feel someone pulling his shirt.
"P-Boom"(P- mean พี่ or brother or sister in Thai, or a friendly to call your senior)
A young girl who looked similar to him walked and greeted him. Boom take a look at the time and asked
"Where the hell will you go, Beam?"
"Just wan to go hang out with P-Chom, So I was wondering...."
"I am not giving you two a ride"
His answer make Beam say 'Boo~'. Beam is Boom little sister and is 14 years old. Her personality is completely opposite to her brother, Boom (Except for her grade which they're pretty equally). She's an outgoing person. Plus she's pretty cute, making her well known among people to a certain extent.
As for 'P-Chom' that Beam talked about, She is Tar's girlfriend. Her full name is Chompoo. She has a long black hair and black eyes, while wearing a white shirt with a knee-length black skirt which is the uniform for female students here.
Chompoo is currently standing looking from behind around 10 meters away, with an eyes full of hope waiting for an answer.
"I haven't fill up my gas tank yet, Go take a taxi or something"
"Whaa~ You sure love your bike more than your own sister"
"She's my love" Boom said while giving his bike a pat.
Before Beam walks away, She turn to look at her brother and ask him.
"By the way, Did you know we have new neighbor?"
"No, not at all"
"Whatever, You just in your room all day without caring any damn thing"
And he got scolded.
Boom ignored her scolding and start the bike engine, scanning the card and drive to the market.
The distant between school and market is about 5 km. which is not very far, but enough time to listen to some music.
But unfortunately, It suddenly start raining.
Boom found it really annoying, because now he can't listen to his music. but in the same time, he feel relief because he don't have to go to that crowded market, which make Boom really happy.
Although he can't get the gas and food money anymore. but who cares? All the introvert folks are like this.
Shortly after, It began to rain harder. Causing the traffic to be congested for several kilometers long.
Luckily, Boom got his helmet on, So his hair stay dry. But his vision is really terrible.
(God damn it, Why the hell it rain all the sudden?)
Boom decide to take a short cut in the woods. It is pretty creepy for a newcomer, But Boom has use this route many time, he doesn't feel anything.
As he riding through the woods, he saw something moving.
(The fuck is that?) He puzzled.
Normally, no one would stop to investigate it, but Boom notice that it appearance was like cat, so he thought it wouldn't be good to leave it like this.
He parked the bike and go take a look, only to found out that it's a white persian cat sitting in the box while shaking cold because of the rain.
Boom slowly reached out to take a look if it have a collar or not, but it suddenly let a hissing sound while staring at his face without taking an eyes off.
(Do I have to remove my helmet?)
It might doesn't trust a person with a helmet on, So he remove his helmet while knowing it is raining. Still, he willingly took it off.
Just as he thought, that white persian cat is calmed down. When he extended his hand to the cat, it licked his hand like he was it's owner.
Since it calmed down, Boom slowly lift it head up to take a look if it have a collar or not, And it did have it.
The collar say 'Nelly' with someone phone number on it.
(Maybe...The owner number?)
Even with the phone number, he still can't make a call because his phone isn't waterproof, if he take it out of school bag right now, it'll definitely broke.
What should I do...Boom puzzled, before looking around to find nothing.
He realized that under his seat cushion should have an umbrella in it. When he go check it, he found out that it actually have.
(Welp...I guess there's only one way left)
Which is to take it to hide under the shade somewhere else with him and call the owner to come pick it up. Although, He don't like to make a phone call but this is the only way he can find it's owner.
Boom open the umbrella and walked towards Nelly, As soon as she see the umbrella, She immediately jump onto him, Not caring of his wet shirt at all.
"Seem like I have to take you with me now"
*Meow* Nelly response.
The nearest bus stop is around 2 kilometer, which is right out of the forest. So Boom had to drive his bike while holding up an umbrella for Nelly with high difficulty, making the 2 kilometer of distant feel so far so sudden.
And he didn't wear his helmet because he's afraid that the cat would not trust him.
When arrived at the bus stop, Nelly suddenly jump off and go rest on the nearest chair. Boom flicked his hair before go take a look at the number on Nelly collar.
"037..."
He slowly type the phone number. then, stand still to make up his mind for a moment
*Meow! Meow!*
Suddenly, Nelly start to bellow, making boom whose about to make a call, suddenly stop.
"What's your deal?"
Boom turn to look in the direction where's Nelly had bellowed. He see a silver sedan driving closer as if to stop.
He think that it might be the owner. So, Boom pick her up and walk towards the car.
"Nelly!"
A girl rush out from the car when she saw Nelly without fear of getting wet at all.
Nelly also rushed out to that girl.
She had a long golden hair, a unique pink eyes, She's wearing a pink dress that look quite expensive. Her age is probably about the same as him, perhaps she's rich girl.
"Where have you been? I'm really worried"
She hug Nelly with a delight look, Boom, who felt that his duty is over, is preparing to leave.
"Sir!"
Suddenly, she call his name out, Boom slowly turn to her and asked 'Yes?'.
*Clap* She raise both of her hands to pay respect and said 'thank you' with determination. Look like she have no idea that Boom is at he same age as her, So she referred him as 'Sir'.
"Thank you very much for saving my cat!"
"Oh uh...No problem, I saw it sitting cold in the box so I took it. I have to go now, My parents are waiting"
Because he doesn't want to talk anymore. Boom decide to spoke quickly and cut it off and walked away.
"But sir, you're soaked wet. You sure you won't dry yourself before leaving?"
"Uh...That's alright. My home is just 5 minute away, No worries"
Boom put on his helmet after he finished speaking and got onto his bike as if to say 'I'm leaving for real, No need to talk again'. But she ended up call him anyway.
"A- At least...May I please have your name? surname or nickname as you preferred"
She said with determination.
He hesitated at first whether he should give it or not. Come to think, his helmet has a camera on it. So if she uses his name to do something bad, he could just show her face and the car's license plate that was taken, easy.
"Name's Boom. And you, miss?"
This time Boom asked back.
"Name's Lifa. How old are you, if I may ask?"
"I'm 16, and you?"
"16 as well"
"Well Lifa, Glad you found your cat. I shall go"
Boom drove away without giving Lifa any chance to call him again.
When he arrived at home, Boom got scold by his parents before went take a bath and then went to his room to play games comfortably.
