Hi, my name is Carly, (brown hair,brown eyes, red shirt, jeans) I am 13 years old, and I have a really weird, old looking gate that I pass every day while going to school, its surrounded by shrubbery, and no one has ever seen whats beyond it, if they have, they've never come back to tell the tale. "Thats a stupid myth!" My friend, Mercy (Blond hair, blue eyes, purple glasses,blue shirt, jeans.) said, rolling her eyes. "Oh really? Then why not go prove that it is!" I said, we were heading home from school, and saw the gate. "What exactly are you saying?" She said raising an eyebrow. "You, and me go beyond the gate." I said pointing to it. "What?! Have you lost your mind?! No!" Mercy yelled at me, I rolled my eyes. "I'm going with or without you." I said, heading toward the gate. " Fine its not a myth lets just go home!" Mercy yelled at me. "Nope, I already made up my mind." I said, now at the gate. "Ugh, we have to go home.. wait for me!" I knew she would say that, she never let me do somthing like that by myself. "On three..." I said, we held eachothers hand. "One.." I said. "Two..." Silence. "Three!" We both stepped over the gate. "Ok, nothing happened, lets go!" Mercy said, pushing her glasses up. "No! we have to go more into the forest, come on!" I started walking through the forest, Mercy beside me. There were so many trees, and it was beautiful! "See, nothings happening." Mercy said looking at me. "Yeah, but lets keep walking, its really pretty, and I'd rather do this then go back home, and do chores." I said, looking around. "Good point.." Mercy said,shruging. As we were walking, we found the same gate. "Did we go in a circle?" I asked, confused. "No... we just kept moving straight..." Mercy was also confused. "Wait, whats on the other side?" I said, walking closer to the gate, Mercy followed behind me. Once we went over the gate we could not believe our eyes. "This is not where we came in.." I said, Mercy shook her head agreeing. What was on the other side, was a normal looking town, but there were futureistic cars, and a bunch of technology and robots. "Ok, this might sound crazy, but I think we are in the future..." Mercy said, I rolled my eyes. "No dip Sherlock." I said. We started walking along the sidewalk, looking at everything around us. "Oh my gosh, its like Back to the future 2, without the time traveling car." Mercy said, she had watched a lot of movies. "Hey, we should go to our houses, see who lives them now!" I said, she agreed and we walked to my house first. I knocked at the door, and a girl about our age answered. "Hello?" She asked in a kinda rude tone. "Hi, um could you get a grown up?" Mercy asked. "No, who are you." The girl asked, I rolled my eyes. "Just get an adult, My name is Carly, this is Mercy." I said, the girl looked confused. "weird.. Umm hold on a second." She left. A few minuites later an adult came over. "Who is i-" She saw me and Mercy, and her eyes went wide, she kinda looked like me. "Umm yeah, we were wondering who lived here." Mercy said. "It cant be... well I guess.." The lady was mumbling. "Look, does someone named Mercy live here or not." I said, getting unpatient. "Yeah, thats my name, and I'm guessing you're me from the past." She said. "Yeah, we somehow got here from going over a gate, I told you we should'nt have gone to!" Mercy looked at me. "Come in." Future me said, me and Mercy went in the house, it was diffrent, I liked the design. "Sit on the couch I will be with you in a moment." Future me pointed to a couch, and walked upstairs, me and Mercy sat. A few minuites later future me came back with a man, he looked like Preston, a kid I liked in my class. "So are you guys wondering how to get back?" Future me asked, me and Mercy nodded. "Well, you have to wait till a full moon, to go back, but luckily there is one tommorow." The guy said. "Ok, hold up I am a little confused, you are future me and who are you?" I asked pointing to the guy. "Yes, I am you in the future, this is your future husband, Preston." Future me said, I was shocked, my crush is my future husband? Thats awesome! "Wait.. Preston? thats awesome!" I said. "What about me?" Mercy asked. "Well, in high school, you moved away." Future me said, me and Mercy hugged eachother. "But, I do visit you every year." Future me said, smiling. "Mom? who is that?" The girl who was at the door earlier asked. "That's me from the past." Future me signaled for the girl to come over. "This is your kid, her name is cassy." Me and Cassy shook hands, and then I realized somthing. "Wait.. so you-" Future me cut me off. "Yes..." She said blushing a little. We talked a little more, The next day, before we left, I asked something. "Wait... any advice?" I asked me. "Yes, dont cheat, you get caught, and tell Preston how you feel, he feels the same way about you." Future me winked, Me and Mercy thanked them, and got back to our own time.
