As he stood behind her, staring into the mirror, she couldn’t help but notice the sadness of his features. The dark, haunted look in his eyes from watching too many deaths and not getting enough sleep. His black hair, muddy and matted from days on the road. The corners of his mouth were turned up in the slightest of smiles, but the ghosts of a million teenagers clouded his brow. His brother may have been safe, but all of his thoughts were now centered on her, the girl in a stranger's bathroom. Infinity was pinned between the sink and the boy, her neck trickling blood. His fingers skimmed up through the red liquid, feeling for the wound itself. He grabbed a blue washcloth and turned the sink on high. 237Please respect copyright.PENANAavcgP86Bpb
“Let me help you,” he whispered, voice tight and low.
”You’ve helped enough.”
”I know, I know. Just let me fix this.”
Infinity didn’t respond.
”Please, Fin?” Her breath hitched. He hadn’t called her that in months. She nodded, ever so slightly. He sighed. “Thank you.” And he began slowly washing away the blood and grime. Finally, the wound was clean, revealing a metal shard embedded in her skin. He gently pried it out and quickly pressed the washcloth to the sudden gush of blood. A few small stitches later, and Cameo stood back, checking for any extra debris. Infinity shoved him against the wall. 237Please respect copyright.PENANANMjJIe1KmR

She grabbed his collar and pulled him into her, forcing her lips over his. He drove his fingers through her hair, angling her face towards his. His face burned with her touch, fire flowing through his veins. He sighed against her lips, swearing to himself that he would never leave her again.
