"Hello, Ace! I see... You brought Jade, too!" Halley exclaims. Then she looks over to Norman, who just waves. She runs up to him. "Who are you? You're so cute!"
"Uh..." He starts, looking away in embarrassment.
"Sorry, I'm too social sometimes," Halley apologizes.
"You're very confusing, to say the least."
"What's your name, though?" She asks.
"I'm Jade's younger brother, Norman."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Halley!" She holds out her hand.
...
"So, what do you do most?" Halley asks, smiling warmly.
"I don't do much."
"Oh, what kind of music do you listen to?"
"I listen to some of the bands Jade and Ace like."
"Cool! Do you like Nightly? They're good."
"Some of it." Norman replies. "I miss my girlfriend a lot right now."
"Oh yeah, I'm sorry about that... You seem to be getting over it pretty well, though. Jade said you wouldn't talk to her for a while unless you were yelling at her or something..."
"Huh, Olive? No, I don't mean her."
"You already moved along? That's great!"
"No, I don't remember her much. What she looked like, that's it."
"Why not?"
"Ace said that I jumped out of my window and hit my head. I don't remember anything at all. I'm regaining some, though," Norman says, smiling at her.
"Tell me about your girl you have now."
"Emma?" He questions. "She has short orange hair, green eyes, and she's very cute. She likes cats, but she says they're really mean." His mind flashes to that night.
"I like cats, but they're mean. Cute, but mean," Emma pouts as if she were a child.
He smiles. "Jade introduced her to a lot of music. Not that surprising."
"What's her personality like?" Halley asks.
"She's reckless but very kind. I have some pictures of us."
"Cool, show me!" Halley urges.
Norman pulls his phone out and opens a few pictures.
"That one's my favorite," he says, pointing to the phone. The picture has him and Emma. Emma is very disturbed by the camera's flash, and Norman stands right by her, laughing.
"It's very cute!" Halley exclaims. "I have a boyfriend, but he hates cameras... He's probably at work or something right now."
"Hey, guys! Jessica said she might come over since I'm here!" Jade calls.
"Who's Jessica?" Norman turns to Halley.
"Jade's older cousin," She replies.
"Oh, cool."

(Jessica is my little cousin's OC, so I tried to make her personality + humor similar to how she is)
"Ayo," A woman greets, hitting Jade on the head. She turns to Norman. "How have you been? Suffering?"
"Yeah," He replies.
"Oh, didn't expect that. Oh, gosh. Wow. Are you joking, like my cousin, or actually suffering?"
"I miss my girlfriend..."
"Which o-" The woman pauses and starts laughing.
"I'm Jessica! Nice to meet you!" Jessica greets, holding out a hand. "Jade's older cousin. Sorry for that." She smiles. "Jade's told me a bit about you."
"Yeah, she probably has."
"So, uh, you ever have a crisis and try to end it, but you can't since YouTube keeps recommending you CocoMelon?" She asks.
"What-"
"Oh, you're bad kid, get good."
"You're not funny~" Jade taunts. "Ayo, the pizza here!"
"Why aren't you telling me what that means?!" Jessica screams in a joking way.
"So, you want some pizza?" Jade asks, ignoring Jessica.
"Get me some pineapple," Ace requests, not even looking up from his phone.
"Correction- us." Jade says.
"Correction..." Halley starts, but everyone stares at her. "Give me some, too?"
"So, uh, I forgot, dang... Norman, how have you been?"
"I'm good, Jessica. Just bored a lot."
"Oh... You should play a game or something! I really like some of them. Which one is your favorite?"
"Stardew Valley and Slime Rancher are pretty fun." He replies to Jessica's question. (10/10 good game oh my gosh play it ηøw, and that's a threat, NOT a suggestion-)
"What music do you like?" She asks.
"Alright, why does everyone obsess over music?"
"Because we do. Clearly." Jessica crosses her arms. "Peasant."
This is going to be a while.
...
"It's really cold, honestly," Jade says, wrapping herself in a blanket. "I like the cold, but it's too cold right now."
"Cold? We should start a bonfire! It's hot, like in the summer!" Ace stares at Jade.
"It is summer," Halley rolls her eyes as she speaks.
"It is? What?" Ace sounds less tired than usual. "I wish I lived here, honestly."
"Oh, heck no, you're going back after the summer!" Jade exclaims, with a more serious expression than a joking one.
"You can't control me."
"Ugh, but I can hurt you!" She exclaims, pulling out a flip flop, forgetting the forming argument.
"All hail the flip flop!" Jessica gets down on her knees, staring at the flip flop.
"Indeed," Halley says, taking it from Jade, laughing.
"Ayo, Jade, your brother. I thought he was less of the quiet kid who commits murders when you turn around, but he is."
"Nah, I'm just tired," Norman says, looking up from his phone.
"Do you have any game on your phone?" Rosie, Jessica's daughter asks, looking up at the teenager.
"Rosie..." Jessica starts.
Jade laughs. "Ya got games on your phone? Really came true!"
Ace stares at her. "Memes."
"I guess so. Halley, do you have speakers?" Jade asks.
"Uh, yeah. Caleb put them in. They're really great," Halley replies. "Why?"
Jade smirks.
"Alright, give me your phone." Jade gives Halley her phone.
"Could you play the potato playlist?"
"Sure." Halley plays some music, all of which Jade mutters along to.
"Emma would probably like this..." Norman mutters, not realizing he said it out loud. "She likes the music Jade and Ace listen to as well."
"Who?" Jessica asks. "Your girlfriend?"
"Yeah."
"She probably would enjoy it here," Jade agrees. "A lot. She would get along with everyone, too. Maybe we could take her here some time..." She looks at the ground.
"She said she likes the cold, anyway. Not like I listen when she talks to me, but-" Ace gets cut off as Jade hits his head.
"You're so rude!" Jade yells, more joking than serious.
"I know. Do I care? Not really... I just want to sleep more than anything else. I can't though..." His voice trails off.
"You're such a mess!" Halley jokes.
"I know that. Jade keeps me mentally sane, though... Fine, I lied."
"I'm going to leave; Rosie's probably tired," Jessica says.
"But, I'm not!" The three-year-old pouts.
"I know you aren't, but I have to go home!"
"Oh, okay! Goodbye!" Halley waves her hand.
After Jessica leaves, everyone talks to each other for a while.
But, of course, things end, and they all agree to go inside, where it's at least warm.
...
"What!? I don't want to stay here!" Jade yells.
"Well, I have to move here," Ace mutters.
"No, you don't!"
"Yeah, I do. I'm not getting enough money for anything."
"Then get a new job if our boss is terrible!"
"There's no jobs that pay enough," Ace tells her. "And stop yelling, you're going to wake Halley up or something..."
"There's no changing your mind, is there? I'd do anything to stay there, I mean, not that I like it there, necessarily, but I know many people who would be sad as heck if we left."
"Like who? I don't even have any friends, and yours would just be proud of you going somewhere else or some crap-" He stops as Jade glares at him.
"My brother's fricking girlfriend!"
Ace looks away from her. "Yeah, whatever. Your best friend or something, right? It's fine."
"No, it's not!"
"Well, if you don't want to leave your damned best friend, why don't you just fricking leave me!?"
"...What?"
"Seriously, I'm a horrible person, and you're not just leaving me! What's in you that actually cares about me!?"
"I can't leave you, you know... I mean, I could, but I won't."
"Well, you won't stay here!"
"What do you mean by stay?"
"I-" Jade turns around. "Norman!"
