It had been days since they both had left Yukiniras home town Celeron, they were tired from the walking and their clothes were left to be desired. Their clothes were torn and ripped by the branches of the trees, the bushes they passed and the constant pushing through the forest trying to find the Nacbals hideout. Yukinira found it harder than Lotusa, he was used to this type of thing so he carried on like nothing was wrong. Yukinira however, had never travelled, not as far as they had done this time.
She felt pain and her joints ached from the moving and pressing on the feet, they felt sore and she knew her feet bled from inside the boots.
One thing she worried about, however, was the need not to tell Lotusa. She did not want him to feel she was worthless in any way, so in some sense she hid her feelings on the matter and tried keeping pace.

Lotusa knew however, how she felt, he could sense the frustration coming of like a poison but to encourage her, he said nothing.
“So Lotusa where and how do we find these Nacbals then?” said Yukinira, pulling a twig out of her hair and threw it to the ground in frustration as she felt they were getting no where. Lotusa sighed, “why do you keep saying that. You sound like child, nagging their parents?!” He said frustrated because he was not used to someone travelling with him on the road as most of the time it was only him.
Most of his life was only him so he travelled where he wanted with no trouble at all, now considering the idea someone was in the picture was some what difficult. He just wanted to get on and make head ways with the Nacbals as he was very eager to do so.
He knew that at some point after finding his sister he might have got used to the idea of the travelling companion, but now it has actually happened he realised he had not prepared his mind on the matter enough.

Suddenly a stick came threw the air and passed Lotusas head, “I’m sorry for talking to much!” she said sarcastically. “It just feels like we going round in circles, are you sure you know where we going?” She shouted to him in exasperation as she chopped down some bushes and branches in front, thinking to herself about how on earth did she get in to this situation.
Lotusa turned wondering what the stick was in-till he knew it was Yukinira as she had just yelled at him. He threw he some water that was left as they were running low and a silence fell over them as he really did not know what to say.
He sighed heavy trying in some way to ignore what Yukinira said as it was only out of being to tired. “Finding the Nacbals is basically next to not finding them at all, they are a very secretive nation?”
108Please respect copyright.PENANAD1VrWMJPY7
Honestly speaking Lotusa never really wanted her know as much as she did, he expected to tell her certain things but as the journey carried on it became increasing difficult in trying her to come on this journey without any explanation. IT was a way of protecting her but it ended up being the complete opposite because of the lying.
“Plus they find us not the other way round!” he said as he noticed a symbol on a tree bark behind Yukinira and walked up to examine it. Yukinira wondered what he saw and turned round curious about what the symbol looked like. “What it is Lotusa?” she said as she saw his fingers rub the heart shaped dragon and grabbed his sword as though he was expecting something to happen.
Yukinira noticed what he did and she turned round on the spot frantic, wondering about her life as something felt wrong. However, for the next few minutes, nothing was happening and she got to thinking that Lotusa was just being paranoid.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAQhWQwKkKTO
Lotusa raised his sword to waist level as he sensed the Nacbals nearby, his eyes were scanning the area, “be careful they are here!” Yukinira started to worry, with no skills whatsoever in fighting and no sense of calmness, she feared for her life.
Lotusa shoved Yukinira behind him as he saw something moving in the distance, let alone how he sense the Nacbals near them as he felt Yukiniras nerves shaking within her body.
“Are they really that bad?” She said trying to keep quiet as she spoke for fear of getting caught. “Lets put it this way, even if you know them, they do not do nice welcomes?!” Fear now gripped Yukinira as she thought her life was over even before they started.
She just tried convincing herself that Lotusa who had done this many times before now, knew what he was doing so instead of asking question after question, she kept quiet and close to Lotusa.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAj01iva9klp
“What are we waiting for, we need to get out of here?” she screamed in much distress as she grabbed her blade out from her boot, even though compare to Lotusa, it would not nothing.
Suddenly a dart came flying passed her and on to the tree in front, she stood still and erect, suddenly aware of her surroundings. She turned and Lotusa placed his sword back on to his side and looked straight in to her eyes and she knew that something was not right.
She grabbed the dart out the back of her neck and it ripped a piece of flesh and looked at the dart then to Lotusa, “WHY?” She said wondering what would happen to her now and she knew that Lotusa had been apart from this and she felt gutted over not going along with her doubts.
While looking in to her eyes, “I am sorry sister but this was the only way!” He looked away as though he was ashamed of what he had done as she felt dizzy, everything looked blurred and she fell to the ground with a thud.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAZKqavRiRz3
He lowered himself to check if she was still alive and saw that the dart had embedded in to the skin as her neck was bleeding. He tore part of his cloak off and wrapped it round her neck to keep it from bleeding out and sighed with a heavy heart as he stood waiting for his contact.
Lotusa knew this was coming as he planned the whole thing, in fact he hated the way he felt that Yukinira was deceived. He generally wanted to find his sister but to get what he needed he needed to trap and extract her powers. He was a man of honour by law in himself and this went against what he was but the Nacbals had a way about them and no one could change that.
He heard a rustling noise behind him and knew who it was, the Nacbals had finally come so he turned and there was a crossbow pointing to his face. He rose his hands to show that he meant no harm even though they knew who this was.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAMcbbGq8Of8
To Lotusas surprise this was not the man he made the deal with, he had not seen this man before and looked round puzzled. The man looked down to Yukinira who clearly was out cold, then back at Lotusa and said this riddle, “what is the idea of the bird in the sky?”
The man spoke with this high pitched sound that went straight through the body and moved the crossbow down towards the abdomen. The Nacbals were very protective of their land, this was theirs and this riddle was a code for safe passing so Lotusa had to think as this whole process confused him. The Nacbals had a bad trait, those who knew the code, travelled safe through the area, however, those who did not, never saw families again as they would be captured and used as slaves.
The man looked rough, not shaven and the clothes looked as though he had picked them from the gutter as Lotusa eyes him up and down.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAN7fYGXa7mC
After the initial thrown back from this man, he remembered the code, so he spoke very calmly, “flying!” and hoping the crossbow would be lowered.
There was a silence between the two of them as this man was not budging as this voice from behind was heard.
“Stop, lower you weapon. You know very well who this is?” A man appeared form behind the man with the crossbow and which he laid his hand on and lowered it.
“Sorry about that Lotusa, he is a little new and can get a bit carried away!” said the man who stood in front of him. Lotusa gave this small effortless smile to the man knowing who he was but angry at what force he used on his sister, “did you have to use such force when using the dart on Yukinira?” Lotusa said as he looked at his sister, “you know very well we need her alive Sen.” Lotusa looked again at Sen, “yes, sorry about that.”
108Please respect copyright.PENANAGqjQPdiEWq
Sen stepped over Yukinira with seemed like no care whatsoever, “we have just upgraded our weapons system and they are using slightly more force than normal, might need readjusting?!” He bent down, “she will be fine.”
108Please respect copyright.PENANAA998sAc7St
Sen bent and rubbed her neck as though he wanted something, “my my Lotusa you do have a very beautiful sister!” Sen was very much admired by Lotusa, he was the one who helped him regain a lot of his memory and as he knew so much about the Mirocons Lotusa ignore a lot of his methods of killing.
Part of the reason why Lotusa had deceived Yukinira was he needed her memories and being persuaded by Sen encouraged him to capture her when all he wanted to do was find his long lost sister. Sen had a very interesting way in extracting memories hidden in the depths of people and what ever method he used, Lotusa was hoping it would work on her.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAhzgsRkd3K3
Only three people in the world had actually seen the Mirocons, one of them was Sen, the other was Yukinira and the last one was a patient in an mental asylum for claiming that he had but was locked for doing so. Sen had some rope in hand and held out to Lotusa, “tie her up?” Sen said but Lotusa refused and he turned to his men to tie her instead.
Sen looked at his men wrapping her hands and legs up, “this is only temporary, the dart will ware out soon and we don’t any thing to happen like it did before do we?” responded Sen as giving the idea this had been done many times before now.
Lotusa started feeling regret over what he had done, he knew she was very green to all this and the way he betrayed her was something he now had to live with. All he wanted was the whereabouts of the Mirocons and he knew she had information she had forgotten and assuming she had the info he bated her out when really all he wanted was his sister back.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAQQFJvBouYg
However, something did not sit right with him. The whole idea of her not knowing the past and how she got captured by the Mirocons and not knowing seemed strange and he needed to know. He became silent as he mind went back to his past as a child to when he was forced in to an orphanage when it was supposed to be for adults.
The reason why he was there in the first place was because his parents were killed, his sister had been captured and there was no one in his life that could help him. It was a bad experience for any child living there, was abuse by those within, lived in a room fit enough for a blanket and was only fed bread and water. The jobs he had were for the adults and so because of so little food he sneaked out at night in search for it which in turn helped him develop survival skills.
He would eat whatever he saw that came down from rats to bugs and because of his past when he slept he had nightmares.

Then one evening Lotusa was sitting on the curb of the road and a teacher, a sensei. This old man who had a long white beard, sat down next to the child as it seemed unusual for a child to be out so late. They chatted for hours and the old man found out that he had been mistreated.108Please respect copyright.PENANADN33K1VRG3
The sensei took him home and brought him up as his own, taught him all the ways of his skill as a master and grew up as this fearsome warrior. It was not just any warrior, he was a righteous warrior, however when the old man told him who he was and how he was their on that night and that, he was killed.
Lotusa killed him and changed his name from Bilbo to Lotusa.
With deep regret over what he had done, he watched his sister get moved on to a metal stretcher and walked behind a few people through the forest to their base of operations.

The trust was only between Lotusa and Sen, it was not with Sens men. Lotusa had to watch his back too as one of the men poked him in the back to hurry on with a spear and without causing problems he took it for what it was and moved on.
He noticed that even though Yukinira would not wake yet, they covered her eyes in caution. They were very protective over the whereabouts of others seeing where they were, in fact if you walked through the forest, you could easily miss the base. The difference between the Nacbals and the rest of the world was the technology, the world suffered because of it yet the Nacbals had the technology of a thousand years.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAedDnZlj1gz
This was partly because they had very strong links to the Mirocons, they were cousins in a sense and they possessed stones like Topaz, Crystallite and Onyx which were rare stones for that matter. Using these stones however came at a price to the Nacbals, they sacrifice there own bodies to the Mirocons. This was for the Mirocons to get in to the minds humans and hence why the war thousands of years before the humans lost and became slaves to the Mirocons till they lost due to a rebellion.
In time this The Mirocons were able to manipulate the minds of humans as they were weak compared to other races but were not able to with Animals with the exception of the dragons.
The Nacbals in turn realised who Lotusa was and made a scheme to work with him to get to the Mirocons.

Sen, his men and Lotusa eventually came to a large metal door that seemed to come out of nowhere with this large dragon symbol in the middle. Sen walked up to the door and placed his palm on to the symbol, he closed his eyes and started talking this dialect that Lotusa had never heard before. The door hissed as it sounded like pipes with steam through them and the door opened with a loud clunk.
Lotusa gazed at the door moving sideways as it lifted off the ground and a white light formed in front as it opened.
Everything seemed different to Lotusa and he wondered how the Nacbals base had changed. Sen gave some round shaped plastics and told to put them on which he did but at first hesitated.
108Please respect copyright.PENANA8lJ24Yl4dw
Lotusa and Sen stepped through the door and it shut with a loud noise and it startled Lotusa and the glasses fell off. He went to pick them up and Sen told him not to worry as it was only temporary anyway since he only needed them to stepped through the door as a security measure. “You know, no matter how many times I come here it still amazes me!?” Remarked Lotusa as he turned back and the door was no more it had gone, all it was now was a wall and it fascinated how the Nacbals tricked others. It made some clue to Lotusa and how they along with the Mirocons had hid for thousands of years.
“Erm Sen, where has the entrance gone?” Lotusa turned and realised that his question meant nothing as Sen with his sister was already a few yards away. He hurried up towards them not wanting to lose sight of his sister and bumped in to the back as Sen and his men stopped abruptly and Sen looked at him angrily.

Lotusa at first glance wondered why they stopped but then realised why, he saw huge hole in front with this bright light beaming through it. He stepped over and peered over and saw that the hole went on for miles underground, way below ground level.
Sen noticed where Lotusa was standing, he looked straight at him, “I would not stand there if I was you?” Lotusa not really paying attention to what Sen had said, “what why?” he said as he slowly stepped back in awe over what he was seeing. Before he knew it this huge metal shaped tree came gushing up through the hole and knocked him down to the floor. The tree in a sense gave power to the base as it had glowing wires wrapping round the trunk of the tree giving it energy.
The branches themselves had wires twisted round them with beams of light pulsating moving through the building giving it life.

Lotusa got off the floor and stretched his back due to the impact and walked over to where Yukinira was next to two guards and Sen. He gazed upon his sister and felt sad over what had happened, “I wish there was another way!”108Please respect copyright.PENANAgORZrJ5pkD
Sen pressed a small button on the metal which could hardly be seen and ordered his men to take Yukinira down and hook her up to the machine. Sen looked at Lotusa that made Lotusa wonder what he was thinking as he looked as though he was planning something. A noise of machines came from underneath the floor and a large metal door made a swooning sound as it opened.
The two men walked in the lift and Lotusa started to follow behind but the two men refused, he quickly turned to face Sen, “what the hell Sen?” not pleased by the decision.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAVTk3acQC52
Sen placed his hands on Lotusas shoulder, “I am sorry my friend this is where we depart, for now?” Lotusa shrugged his hand of displeased as he saw the two men walk in and went down the hole just as quickly as it did coming up. Lotusa ran over to the huge hole and saw the lift moving very very quickly and knew something was up.
He turned to face Sen and grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up off the ground, which surprised Sen as the look of Lotusa was skinny and looked as though he could hurt a fly, let alone the fact he lift him up. “What the hell am I supposed to do now, I refuse that I am not allowed to be by her side?” Lotusa shouted and regretted allowing himself to allow them to take his sister.
Something was telling Lotusa, this was not right. He felt an unusual feeling of difference within this place, it was not like before, everything was different but could not place or where as though he was going mad.
108Please respect copyright.PENANASFXk0y1wBd
Sen blinked at one of his men behind Lotusa who stepped over and hit him on the back of the head with a baton and he fell to the floor, out cold. Sen coughed as he tried getting back his breath by the hold Lotusa had him in and gestured to his men, “take him away I am not one to be mocked!”
Sens guard picked up Lotusa and slung him over his shoulder and walked off down the corridor with out even question. Sen after catching his breath, stepped over to the rail and held on to it getting his composer and crossed his eyebrows in anger.
He then walked over to a station on the other side and spoke through a microphone, “station 3453, come in.” There was no reply and again he spoke through the microphone with command, station 3453 come in?”
108Please respect copyright.PENANAiwU4Zv5Z0m
After a few seconds there was a females voice coming over the radio, “yes, this is 3453 over!” Sen thought hard about his next statement and then again about the turn Lotusa had after the agreement they had, “I am commanding you to kill Yukinira after retrieving the information you get, over.”
“3453, understood.” With that Sen through the microphone on to the station, annoyed and leaned back on the chair, “I show you not to mess with me.”
Sen was well respected here and so no body defiled him even if the order was obscure and hesitated they still obeyed. He pressed a button on the panel and a screen came up and saw Lotusa being thrown in to a room and sat watching with anger even though nothing was going on, thinking what to do next.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAd3eUwtjZ2O
Sen got closer to the screen as he saw him rousing himself up, “dam it Lotusa, why can’t you remember?” The more Sen watched Lotusa the more frustrated he became because he just sat in a yoga style on the metal bed trying to calm his body down and think about how to get out of this mess.
Situations like this was not new to Lotusa, he often became the persecution of those he had worked for and so this did not phase him.
However this was different, he knew this was wrong and his sister now was involved. He could feel the air here was different than before he could sense the evil between the walls. Sen lowered the screen down and placed his hand over his mouth, “there must be a different way!” He got up, “I must find it!” and walked out of the room.
108Please respect copyright.PENANANNE1SG99U6
Mean while Lotusa in the room rubbed his stubble and thought about how long he had been here since there was no way in telling the time. He tried on remembering how he got here but could only remember being hit and he found himself here. He knew that some how Sen was involved and he needed to find out how but being here locked up in this empty room was going to hinder him.
The room was a strange, it was square and the whole thing was made out of metal. However it had looked like some one had polished the room as he could see himself in every wall there was. He noticed that there were no joins whatsoever, it was like someone had taken a huge piece of metal and folded it into this huge room. The only join there was, was the door, which was the way in and out.
He walked across to the door and hit it repeatedly hoping that someone would help and considering where he was, that was going to be very unlikely.
108Please respect copyright.PENANANEI4naUBPU
He gave up realising he was getting no where, knowing where he was and slid down the door and put his head on to his knees, again thinking what next to do. One thing this room did was, it got Lotusa thinking. He wondered why Sen had changed so much, he had left after to find Yukinira years before after making a deal with him. Over the last few years, Sen had changed, something had happened to him but Lotusa did not know why. He kept thinking how things were different, the building, the technology everything was strangely different to what he remembered and it bothered him.
He stood and started walking round the room rubbing his hands on the smoothness of the walls, which he a few times. After sometime a clicking sound occurred at the door and it opened to see Sen standing there watching him.
108Please respect copyright.PENANA9ompZMpehE
Lotusa taking this opportunity ran in rage over to him, “why you little . . .” However one of Sens men stepped aside and protected him from Lotusas blow and he shoved to the floor sliding over to the other side of the wall.
Sen placed his palm on the guards shoulder, he stepped aside and he stood over Lotusa lying there looking up wondering what this Sen would do next. “My dear, dear friend.” Sen paused and looked in his eyes, “you have no idea what is going on do you?” He then turned and started walking away, Lotusa scurrying along the floor said to him in a very perplexed way. “Wha, what are you talking about? I though we had an agreement?!”108Please respect copyright.PENANAjR87SJAmhd
108Please respect copyright.PENANAV33EQWdVMU
Sen turned round, “oh we did have agreement but when I noticed a slight change in your attitude, I thought it might complicate things, so.” Sen suddenly turned to the door, “I did something about it!” Sen went to close the door and lock Lotusa in but before he did Lotusa spoke up, “what wait?” he shouted.
Sen paused and faced him with this looked that can’t be described, “oh that’s right, you don’t know yet do you ha ha ha!” he faced his guards and they laughed along with him.
“the thing is, when you first arrived here, the very first time asking for our help, the Mirocons had just left. This threatened our way of life so they asked for trade and you and your sister were the ones they wanted,” he paused to see the look on Lotusa face as he himself knew what the next sentence was going to be. “And so here you are!”
108Please respect copyright.PENANAyoo5WNEG7m
Lotusa was left speechless as his heart sank to the depths of his body, realising how much of a fool he was. Sen slammed the door shut as he felt he was wasting time and shouted through the letter box for one more dig, “oh that sister of yours. I took the liberty of killing her, hope you don’t mind.” Lotusa jumped to his feet due to hearing this information and slammed on the door repeatedly and shouting as he heard Sen laughing down the corridor.
Lotusa wore himself out and leaned on the door stiff, it was like someone had pressed his pressure point and left him. He had mixed emotions, one second he felt sad due to wanting to get to know her better and the other was cold hearted over not knowing her at all. After some time passed and nothing to do but think, he wondered if Sen had actually killed her. One thing Lotusa did know was how important Yukinira was, she was they key behind everything and so killing her would just be blow his plans, whatever they were.
He was out of ideas and so he laid on the floor, looking up to the ceiling, not knowing what to do.
108Please respect copyright.PENANADl4GFZkEGE
Sen, however, after closing the door and walked a few yards down the hallway, he banged on the wall in frustration and told the guards with him that he wanted to be alone. He looked round the area making sure no one was watching and pushed a door open not seen by the naked eye and walked through it.
Sen had this room built for his eyes only and even though he thought he kept it secret, others knew but said nothing.
Sen knew that the respect was out of fear, he wished it was not but that was the way he was. He knew the gossip he had from the those round, he ignored it and ruled harder.
He stood at the door and a large table was in front with a body lying on top and walked over to it. He lifted the blanket covering the body and looked at Yukinira, rubbed his fingers along along her arms and smiled and a chill went through his body.108Please respect copyright.PENANA98FRLdXxXa
He stepped up to her head and gazed in to her face, then suddenly slapped her round the face, “wake up you fool!” Yukinira slowly opened her eyes, starting with her fingers and then moved her head and face. She opened her eyes and saw Sen looking over her, “did it work?” she said.
Sen looked back in to her eyes, “yes me dear it did, all we have to do now is wait.” He helped her up and jumped on to the table next to her and placed his hand on her thigh, “I am so sorry that you had to endure that Yuki!” He said and looked in to her eyes again with sorrow.
Yukinira jumped off the table and stepped in front of Sen, “listen. . .” She paused and thought twice about what she was going to say, “never mind, forget it!” She lowered her head and searched her feelings and even though she did this as one big ruse she felt bad for Lotusa, he was her brother after all.
108Please respect copyright.PENANAuZIBmtyG5B
She wanted to do something about it but for now did not know so she went along with Sen till she figured it out, “have you always dressed like that?” said Sen. Yukinira had known Sen for years and while standing there looking at him, she thought about how much he had changed and how much she had changed her feelings for him.
He wore a cowboys hat which was black, long smooth brown hair, a light blue jacket, long finger nails and smooth cut beard. Over the last few days travelling with Lotusa she had got to know him, it was short but it was longer enough to know he was a good man.
She really felt she could help but getting out of this situation was going to be difficult because Sen was not easy to be moved. If she was going to do anything she needed to do so quickly as time was running out and started pacing while Sen watched curiously.
