The sun, even though it is extremely important to us as inhabitants of earth, is actually not very big for a star. The sun, which has a radius of about 432,376 miles, is actually not that big compared to the suns of some of the other solar systems. Some suns have even been estimated to be over 100 times bigger than our sun (show-offs)! The sun, even if it just an average sun, is the lifeblood of our world, without it, we could never have light, no day or night, but even more important than that, we couldn’t survive without the sun. If the sun didn’t exist, then we would all die because we would all freeze, sorry to be so morbid, but it’s true. So if you ever get a sunburn (which I can ABSOLUTELY relate to), remember, without the sun, we would not be here… so, yeah.
