Chapter IV Fooled
"Most people ask if they can pull people by their collar! But I figured you aren't most people!" said Squawk pouting. "My pleasure" said Jennifer smirking. "Calm down guys if you like each other just say it" said Leo smiling.
Jennifer and Squawk both looking angry started walking towards Leo. The smile from Leo's face fell. "Hey guys we can work this out--" WHAM! Jennifer and Squawk both punched Leo with such force he flew into the wall.
"I am so sorry guys. Can we go in peace and not in pieces?" said Leo groggily. "Sure if you stop saying I like Squawk!" said Jennifer angrily. "Sure thing guys...." said Leo. "Guys stop abusing Leo, we are almost at the Mystery Shack, well as a matter of fact we are here!" said Peter.
Peter opened the door to the Mystery Shack and when the went inside they were met by Mr. Messy the administrator of the Mystery Shack. "Hello Peter, Jennifer, Leo and er Squawk." said Mr. Messy.
"Actually we have a question well two questions. The first one is did anyone take the case of the mysterious dinosaurs?" asked Peter. "We have out best people on the case except none of them can find any leads or anything" said Mr. Messy.
We are completely fooled!" said Mr. Messy in utter despair. "Uh right. Our second question is if we can take the case? We even have some leads thanks to Leo. Right Leo? Leo!" said Peter.
"Yeah, yeah we have leads." said Leo to busy buried in his tablet to pay any attention. "I am afraid not. You know you guys are amateurs. I am sorry but there is nothing I can do." said Mr. Messy walking away.
"We will show them that we are not just a bunch of buffoons" growled Peter. "Well that went smooth. Smooth as a crag." said Leo.
"Please Leo...." said Jennifer but then realizing that Squawk is gone she said to Peter and Leo "Squawk has gone to eat more of that junk food again. When I get my hands on that on good son of a-" "Uh Jennifer calm down!" said Peter. "And why are you interested in Squawks eating habits anyway? said Peter.
"None of your business!" said Jennifer now turning red. Leo and Peter smiled at each other knowing why Jennifer is being affectionate at Squawk. "Anyway lets go and start working on this case." said Leo.
