"Well, I didn't expect anyone to find me so quickly..." The mysterious man says, with a hoodie on his head.
"Who are you and what are you doing in this school?" I reply.
"I came here to strip you of your magical abilities, I am from the Kingdom of Ixeston,"
He runs towards me with a blade in his hand. I'm fascinated that a human could get so fast... but I don't believe it. He must have used some type of enhancement, so I cast 'Appraisal' as he's running towards me. It showed no physical enhancement was used, much less magic. He had no magic... I was baffled. This Kingdom of Ixeston must be extremely technologically powerful to be able to send these people randomly. He only said he was from that kingdom because he assumed I was weak.
"I know you have two sequential glands, one in your leg and one in your prefrontal cortex..." He says, a second away from piercing my heart.
I am so stunned by this statement that I instinctively caught his blade and broke it.
"H-How.. do you know that..." I say.
"You'll have to figure that out yourself. Though I doubt you'll be alive once this is over..." He replies, grinning.
I instantly think of Muraoka and how I told her everything about me... could she have betrayed me and told another kingdom about me? I use mild immobilization magic to knock him out instantly then I take him to my dorm room for questioning. Upon arrival, I immediately ask him, "Who told you that I had 2 sequential glands..."
"Nobody." He replies.
I then mildly shock him with thunder magic...
"Who told you!" I say.
"Nobody" He replies yet again.
I decide to stop and think logically, so I use 'Appraisal' on myself. This reveals spells cast on me recently and I find that this mysterious person had used mind-reading magic to gain that information. I immediately slash his neck as there would be a problem if he left here alive. To my surprise, that was just a robot, controlled by the kingdom most likely to gauge my skills. This was quite troubling, as my powers aren't enough to take on an entire kingdom yet and they can freely call upon the 'Great Three', all of which can rival my powers without the seal... I used to be one of those 'Great Three', so maybe I'll get to see this body's previous self soon. This is also a problem, if the one who reincarnated into my body decides to go rogue, it would destroy the Great Three's reputation as do-gooders. Although, he does not have the sequential gland I do since when I switched bodies it seemingly transformed the gland to me and didn't copy it.
I will have to prepare for another attack from the kingdom since I do not know their motives or how strong they are. Whilst I do that, I go to the principal's office and ask the principal if I could be let off school for around a week, for 'family business'. This was a facade though, as I was going to head to the kingdom whilst using the 'Randomize Appearance' spell. This was to keep my identity hidden as they attacked me and no one else. The principal agreed, as my grades were pristine and I begin to set out on this journey. I begin by leaving Lodurr and arriving at the gate, I was asked to pay 2 illna to pass. This was a small fee, as I was a somewhat rich noble. I pay the fee and get on my way. I then cast the 'Randomize Appearance' spell and conceal nearly all of my mana to keep away from suspicion. Upon arrival at the kingdom's gates, I was asked to show my ID for identification. My ID was concealed and randomized due to the spell, so I showed it as usual and got granted access.
Upon arriving, I cast 'Unwavering Facade'. This is a D-tier spell that allows me to be completely invisible but not invincible. I walk into the king's palace to find no king there, this was due to the Ignis attack that occurred. How were they functioning without a king? I explore further, to find that there is a demon crowned as king, in an office. This was baffling since humans and demons never got along in the history of mankind... so I investigate further. I saw that the secretary of the king was acting strange, so I cast 'Appraisal' to check previous spells. I find that the same mind-controlling spell that was cast on me, was recently cast on her. This baffled me as I wasn't being controlled like her. I found that once the spell is cast, the mind can be controlled by the caster's mind. Hence why she is being controlled and I am not.
I immediately thought that a demon lord was taking over the kingdom, but this was ruled out due to the demon being weak. This was most likely a trap set for me that didn't work, so I left. I then canceled the 'Unwavering Facade' spell and continued. I went into the forest and removed every concealment spell. Then I walked into the king's palace again to set off the trap if there was one. I was correct, M Tier barrier magic was cast around the entire kingdom, then another layer around the palace. 'T-This magic, it's M-tier magic! How could this be...' I think my eyes widened as big as possible. Then, I see a flash of white light, and one of the 'Great Three' appeared! How could this be...
